As a divorced woman of 22 years who has worked very hard through several nursing schools and also put my two children through college, I can say it s been a hard few years. My dream all through school was to get a Volvo when I graduated as a Family Nurse Practitioner and I have been working in that position for a year now and can finally say I am ready to purchase my Volvo!
I have spent hours watching videos on Volvo s, listening to reviews and looking up dealerships.
Due to the reviews I have read AND the thoughtful responses from the dealer, I have decided to go with Smythe Volvo for my purchase. Your cars have a history of safety and luxury and good value and that is what I am looking for as a divorced mother of two children. My kids are 23 and 24, but they also would like to be part of the Volvo family ! Their day will come! :)
I know reviews are supposed to be about your experience with a business, but I thought I would let you know how your reviews have helped me make my decision to do business with you. Follow up review coming! I can t wait to get my Volvo! I have been daydreaming about this day!

Fast Forward: 01/14/2018
From my first phone call until the day I drove off the lot with my beautiful XC60, I was treated with respect, kindness, and fairness.
From every aspect of our interactions, every single person was nice, professional and caring. Every time I called in, the receptionist was nice and each person along the way was wonderful.
I was lucky to have Debbie Amster as my salesperson, she understood the delicacies of my situation and worked diligently to make my Volvo dream come true. She also personally handpicked a car for me that I absolutely love. She could not have picked a better car, this was only possible because she listened to every thing I said and knew exactly what I was looking for.
Kevin Bergeron helped me through the loan process and was professional and courteous, he was there for me every step of the way. Sean in service went out of his way to answer questions I had and helped me in more ways than I can mention here.
The owner personally made me feel comfortable and cared for.
I drove from 2 1/2 hours away, past multiple Volvo dealers, one of which is just 20 mins from my house.
I will never hesitate to trust this family dealer nor will I take my car buying business elsewhere. I have told my friends and co-workers about my experience with Smythe Volvo and they were all shocked. You cant go wrong to buy a car here. I look forward to working with them in the future and will never buy a car from any other dealer ever again.

My wife purchased and has here XC 40 serviced there regularly and loves it. So when I needed some work done on my Jeep Grand Cherokee we asked if they could help us out, even though it wasn t a Volvo. Regina & The service team there was amazing and was happy to help us out. They took great care of the Jeep and we ll definitely continue to go back.

We are always pleased with the service provided by Smythe's parts department; from Roger and Scott online and on the phone, to Mike and his timely (often comedic) deliveries, we have yet to be disappointed. Competitive pricing, fast service, the ease of ordering online - and above all, kind and courteous people.

The Service Department is always professional in their handling of our issues. Doug oversaw the work and ensured that all our concerns were handled in a competent and timely manner.

Top notch Volvo dealer with terrific personal service and a great show room. Very easy to arrange test drives. Not a pushy environment or a high-pressure type of dealership at all in my experience.

Worked with Steve on a pre owned XC60. He helped me and my wife find the perfect car for our family. We were able to get the car we wanted at a very fair price. The process was simple and easy. Would definitely recommend Steve and the team at Smythe.

On August 8, I wrote a review about the fantastic manner in which the Service Department handled a minor issue I had with my 2012 S60, which seemed like a major issue to me at the time! They have always been a pleasure to deal with.

On August 31, I purchased another Certified Pre-owned S60. PJ Lee assisted me in the purchase of my first Certified Pre-owned S60 , and I remembered him so well from that positive experience! I was so glad to learn that even though he is now Sales Manager, he remembered me and took the time to personally assist me with the purchase of my "new" S60.

PJ and everyone I have had the pleasure to deal with at Smythe Volvo are absolutely the pinnacle of professional, courteous and respectful professionals. I am a lifetime customer for both the Sales and Service Departments!

August 8 - The Service Department ROCKS!! I have a 2012 S-60 which I bought from Smythe as a certified pre-owned vehicle, and have owned and loved it for more than 4 years. Of course, my AC quit in the middle of a heat wave in New Jersey just before I was leaving for my vacation trip up to Maine.
Michael and the Service Department manager, Regina, went out of their way to take care of me and my car in this "emergency" situation. It's almost time for me to start looking for my next vehicle and the exemplary treatment the Service Department staff showed me will absolutely ensure that I won't look anywhere else but Smythe for my next car and all future maintenance!

I was a walk in and a customer who did not purchase my XC60 @ Smythe. I was greeted by a very professional service adviser and my issue was addressed immediately - I appreciate the service and the prompt attention.

I honestly just went in to look at a vehicle I had been interested in for some time. Bob C made my car buying experience a pure pleasure. Everyone I spoke with was friendly and helpful. Best part is they're all dog people! Thank you again Bob!!
