Do not go! please leave it to the locals. It is great but the building is not conducive to social distancing. Doing it by the book for safety, they're creative with a couple tables set up outside the entrance. No idea where smokers go but who can afford that anyway? Wee patio upstairs outside n tables inside. Again, making the most of what they've got. Shhhhh it's able to look after the locals

We had lunch here and it was good. My friend had the Curried lamb burger with French onion soup which she enjoyed immensely. I had the Tuscan salmon salad which was okay but the salad was supposed to contain feta cheese and it there was a few bits but could have been more plentiful. Salmon filet was fine but I would probably not order it again. Wine was a bit overpriced for house brand. Don't think we would rush back here.

Food was decent, but atmosphere was homey and friendly! Appetizers on the table were chicken tenders (not worth it, very few), calimari (very worth it), and perogies (extremely worth it, very generous quantities and delicious). I had the salmon with pasta for a main course and found the salmon perfect but the pasta to be overly buttery and it left a bad taste in my mouth. Shared chowder with a friend and it was a little flavorless compared to chowders at Ferris' Grill and Red Fish Blue Fish. Her seafood pasta was also far better than my own dish - would recommend that over the salmon entree.

I was passing through town and just wanted a burger and beer. Saw a pub, perfect.
They had a contact tracing book which was good. I believe the best way to judge a pub's food is to order a burger. If you can't do that right, the rest of the menu will probably be lacking as well. Their naked burger is $14, after adding cheese and bacon (standard) it's $18. All pints of beer are $8. The burger, on first bite, was immediately recognized as processed, bought in patties. The chemical preservatives are very noticeable when a patty isn't made in house. The second bite and the bun overflowed with mayonnaise. The fries were good but very salty.
Overall, it's a pub and the service was fine. But for the prices, the quality needs to step up substantially. I wouldn't go back without trying every other place in the neighborhood first. That's a shame.

Restaurant atmospheres just aren't the same during covid but I could imagine this pub would be good in a normal life setting. Are waitress was good and friendly service. I wasn't a fan of how greasy the fish was in my meal I think you need to let sit a little longer before putting it on the plate. Ceasar salad was good garlicky and creamy. Will definitely return.
