***COVID-19 PANDEMIC***
NEW RULES & STIPULATIONS BROUGHT CHANGES TO THE "DINE-IN" RESTAURANT AND PUB INDUSTRY; DESPITE THE "NEW SOCIAL DISTANCING & HEALTH ORDERS" MY VISIT @ CHRISTIE'S CARRIAGE HOUSE WAS PHENOMENAL, MY MAIN REASON WAS TO WATCH THE 'SUPERBOWL' CHAMPIONSHIP GAME ON A BIG SCREEN T.V. I LOVED THAT I WAS PROMPTLY SEATED FOR A TABLE OF 4! I WAS 'TREATING' MYSELF TO A 'SUPERBOWL' EVENT IN ONE OF MY FAVORITE PUBS 'BACK IN THE DAY'! LOVED THE GREAT FEATURES OFFERED FOR THE 'SUPERBOWL', (CHECK FOR A FUTURE RETURN), LOVED THE FACT THAT I ENJOYED A "CRAFT OF RED " (A 1ST), PLUS MY REGULAR "HONEY BROWN" SLEEMAN'S ALE! I THOROUGHLY ENJOYED THE "ATMOSPHERE" AND SPACE PROVIDED FOR THE SPORTS FAN OF FOOTBALL! LOVED THE "HALF-TIME SHOW: THE WEEKEND"---A CANADIAN ARTIST! PLUS, THE AMENITIES AND THE WERE "1 PERSON" WITH "WEARING A MASK" LEAVE OR ARRIVE @ YOUR DINING TABLE AREA. BEING 'MINDFUL' OF OTHERS HEALTH SAFETY AT ALL TIMES! IT WAS GREAT IN THE FACT TO "SHARE" MY DINNER & OBSERVE OTHER SPORTS FANS REACTIONS & WATCH A GAME WITH LIKE-MINDED INDIVIDUALS! LOVED THE SERVER & STAFF!
P.S. YOU HAD TO 'SIGN-IN' AS WELL! I THINK IT'S I HADN'T MADE RESERVATIONS BEFOREHAND.

Nice variety to choose from. Nice folks to help you. Yummy food. A treat for us living across the street. Sometimes, a bit pricey.

First time back in 32 years , and it hasn't changed. The food we had was fantastic pub fare with generous portions and delicious flavors. Lots of choice for beers on tap and real comfort food on a cold snowy night like this night was!

Since the old chef left the food has been downgraded to hospital food. I've heard nothing but horrible food reviews and rats running all over the kitchen. Unless you want to get sick from the food stay away!

Seemed like we were outsiders simply trying to have a meal. Other guests rudely shouting and having conversations with other tables across the patio from where they were sitting to the point where our own conversation was eclipsed. Wasn't enjoyable.

Fair warning as I might be biased as this is my local pub. The staff are like family, they remember your names, participate in some banter and are good fun. The food is decent, what you would expect for a pub. No fancy stuff, just solid pub fare.

Drinks are affordable, Covid policies are good(contrary to what others are saying). Bathrooms are clean and it always feels cozy.

Best breakfast sandwich ever. I can't wait for Sunday ( the only day they're available, sadly!). I had one today and they topped themselves. Seriously best ever, ham bacon and egg - the egg was a perfect over medium and all of the other ingredients were super fresh. Top notch!

Christie's has not changed in pretty much 35 years! Although some of the furnishings are still of that era, a little tired and worn, the wonderful staff, food and beverage selection are always a welcome sight! I can't wait till they have live music again!
Oh one last thing, thank God they still have the washroom upstairs, this is like the best safety check for your buddies - so if they fall down the stairs you know they shouldn't be driving home! :)

Good food good service. I wonder if it would help by having music on the far patio to drown out some of the traffic.

I spent my birthday night there, good food and amazing drinks!
Try new York sour and say hi to their bartender!
