Four of us visited for the first time and none of us impressed with the food, prices nor the service. Maybe it was a fluke yet we will try other places next time and pass this one up entirely.

Didn't hate it...but bbq not so good it was dry and tough

All good except for the pulled pork just a little dry. This is due to the pulling apart for future servings. Great BBG is left together until served to preserve moisture and freshness. Ask anyone who has had Biggin's BBG from Robinson Creek, and Pikeville, Ky.

Such a great experience. All of the food was amazing. First time visiting. I'd recommend this to anyone. Staff was amazing, service was top notch and fast and felt like home service! I would recommend this to anyone!

Best smoked chicken in town. They have great deserts and fried potatoes too! Worth the trip to visit!!!

My husband and son proclaimed their wings as the best they have ever eaten! (I don't eat wings) The ribs are tender and full of flavor, and their brisket tastes like they put a lot of time and love into it. They season their delicious French fries that they cut in house, and I have never seen such a huge hamburger at a restaurant. The Smokeouse burger is packed with flavor. I especially loved the pulled pork, and their barbecue sauce is delicious. Save room for dessert though, or buy some to take home. We had their peanut butter pie, and dreamsicle cake. (I ate some of the icing) They prepare them in the restaurant, and they are amazing! The service was great and fast, the atmosphere is nice, and the restaurant is clean. They even have a 100 on their health inspection. Yes, I pay attention to those. We dined inside, since it was in the 40s, but they have tables outside, overlooking a creek, and are just off of a hiking trail. I wish we lived closer, as we would eat here every week. They are closed on Sundays & Mondays. If you are anywhere nearby, I highly recommend that you make the drive.

Really enjoyed the food and the atmosphere out back by the river. Definitely stop in if you re riding the tweetsie trail!

Great barbeque, pulled pork, potato salad, Heineken, quesadilla and hard cider! Jannie and the rest of the staff were very friendly.... there's outdoor seating with a stage for music, with a bridge over the river that leads to the Tweetsie Trail.They say that they will be serving breakfast soon.. can't wait

Food is great as always .Older lady must have been having a bad . Very rude when called order in and smarted off to the younger waitress while I was there but over all great place !!!

I'm all about those fresh cut fries. And their honey BBQ is delicious.

Sure they have great BBQ. But I also love their handcut fries and awesome burgers!!

Best barbecue around beats Woodridge by far right off the Tweetsie Trail also with bicycle racks

This place has the best smoked chicken salad ever!!!

My favorite bbq in the area! I love sitting on the patio in the back and overlooking the Tweetsie Trail!

We are from Texas and it's not like Texas brisket. But if you want good brisket in Elizabethton Tennessee this is the place. The owner and server's are like family. They make sure your happy I wouldn't go anywhere else for brisket.

Tonight I had a really great brisket sandwich. It was really piled high with meat, tender and tasty!! I would recommend anyone who even likes BBQ a little bit to give this place a try . I've had wings ( which are some of the best ever!!), and also had a great burger and fries here before.

I've had much better pulled.pork but my friend said the chicken was excellent.

Brisket and pulled pork was good but a little on the dry side. Coleslaw was good tasted home made. Outside area is nice but could use some nice picknic tables .

Good smokey flavor bbq. Good sides. Very little beer selection and a couple times I've been, they've been out. Prices are a touch high for what it is, but still within reason..

Edit- 8/1/19 - 1 star removed. Service has been pretty bad last few times I've been. Not crowded at all, and very slow. Its mainly the older lady that's in there a lot. Poor attitude, doesn't seem to care about accuracy and argues w customers. Food is still good, at least.

Best chicken wings -EVER- and you can purchase a jar of bbq sauce to take home, too!

I tried Smokehouse's BBQ for the first time last week. The Bar-B-Q was delicious and the service was unparalleled.

I had the bbq sampler and it was delicious. Some of the best bbq I've eaten in long time, great side dishes to, to full to try out their desserts I will try them out next time!

This place is awesome. The best food I've ever had and when it comes barbecue got to try it

Love the food, had the brisket & it had a good smoked flavor to it along with fried potatoes & onions..the servers nice, polite & helpful.

Best bike/walk food and beer stop on the tweetsie trail. Friendly, fast, awesome service and creekside indoor and outdoor dining.

Locally owned Bar-b-q joint with really good food. Highly recommend.

Great food and great prices. This was the first time eating here. The a.c. was out ,but the staff was very friendly. The food took awhile so if you are not patient stay away. The food was amazing. I would recommend this .

Walked right in and got a seat, food was good, the Mad Dog sauce was really good, it was just a bit slower getting the food than we expected. Other than that, it would have gotten five stars.

It was a very awesome experience being my first time there. I ordered the BBQ( pork) plate and my bf had the same thing . The scenery was beautiful the owner was there and he was very polite and asked how was everything and if we had any dislikes, and all i could do was let him know everything was awesome! I believe his name is Eric and our server was awesome as well! The sauces, Sweet and the Mad Dog was right on point just like BBQ sauces are suppose to be . All and all I gave them 5 stars because of the food ,staff and atmosphere . I will defiantly be back and I will most recommend this place to friends and friends of friends and their families and so on ! Thank you for having us there we really enjoyed ourselves and not a bad drive from Greenville ,only a 2 hr drive so we will be back again . Thank you again for the great service and a place where they treat you like family .

Always a reminder, there should never be a best kept secret when it comes to food. Then factor in all they've done for their community during this pandemic. Great people, amazing food

Their portion sizes vary sometimes, but it's 100% always good food. They have an array of sauces at the table as well as roll of paper towels. Great place to try if you love smoked meats.

Best wings in town! Sweet heat.... also, desserts are homemade and amazing! Great service too.

My favorite BBQ IN TriCities. Service and portions somewhat lower than in the past (used to be 5 stars) but still my favorite BBQ in this area. Had brisket at another restaurant recently and it just re-inforced how much better the Smokehouse is.

Great ribs, sides, burgers, BLT sandwiches, wings, and the peanut butter pie is to DIE for! And the entertainment can't be beat!

Great local BBQ place with really friendly wait staff. The ribs are awesome and the smoked chicken is absolutely amazing. The portions here are very generous, if you leave hungry it's your own fault. Also you have to try their desserts. The Butterfinger cake is to die for.

Love this little out of the way jewel. Sides are to die for!

I'll leave a better review when I give them another try. What's happened? Used to be generous portions of BBQ. My last visit Inwas quite disappointed with the portion. The sides were great as usual. Just not much BBQ!

They have trouble answering the phone but the food is decent.

The pulled pork was tasty, but not very warm. The fried potatoes were over cooked and extremely salty. Service was very slow.

We've always been happy with this place! When we first moved here, we just stumbled upon it while driving around.

The food was divine. Get the cowboy beans, potato salad, and fries. Don t forget the mustard sauce.

The brisket sandwich at Smokehouse is, hands down, the best I've ever tasted. 10/10 for flavor and texture.

Amazing service and the best BBQ absolutely love !!!

Sometimes the service is a little slow, but the food is stellar. It goes pound for pound with other more "famous" bbq joints in the area.
