I ran across a blog post from these people, titled, Your Doing it Wrong . That should tell you everything you need to know. A company that can t even grasp basic English grammar, probably won t be good at much of anything else.
Save your money and go to an actual optometrist. I went to a JC Penny optical center and completed this process. I was really looking to just renew my previous prescription I had as it worked perfectly fine for me for the last 2 years. For the most part, the first prescription I got from this place was correct. It matched my O.D., OS and axis measurements from my previous prescription. However, I ve been wearing bifocals/progressive lenses since I was 9 and you need the ADD measurement for those lenses, which was missing from the first prescription I got from smart vision. I contacted the customer service who said we will notify the optical center and the doctor about this ADD measurement and see if we can include it in the first prescription. They COMPLETELY changed the second prescription. The second prescription I got was a +2.00 for the SPH on my right and left eye. Everything else was erased. I contacted them again and explained I was simply looking to just get the ADD measurement so I can order my glasses. The customer service rep Nancy said well that measurement is only for people over 40 hence why the doctor removed it .... I m 23 and although I m young I still don t have great vision. Didn t even bother replying. I went to this place just to try it and a lot of the optometrist are closed due to the pandemic. I doubt the doctors even look at the results as the second doctor who prescribed the second prescription was so far off from my original it was actually quite shocking. Save your money... wait to see an actual eye doctor.
