The Russian Embassy in Sarajevo is the diplomatic mission of the Russian government in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The Embassy is located at 93 Urijana Dedina Street in Sarajevo.
Russia recognized the independence of the Republic of BiH on April 27, 1992. Diplomatic relations between Russia and BiH were established on December 26, 1996. Russia has an important role in BiH's foreign trade. In 2014, 5.5% of Bosnia and Herzegovina's exports were to Russia.

Russia is the guarantor of the Framework Agreement on Peace in BiH and is a member of the Steering Board of the Peace Implementation Council. In that capacity, he participates in the activities of the international community in overcoming the consequences of the war in BiH and participates in building a stable and democratic state.

Until June 2003, a Russian military contingent was present in BiH in a multinational force to stabilize the situation in the country. Russian officials are engaged in the Office of the High Representative (OHR) and the OBES mission in BiH. Russian historian Jelena Guskova is a member of the Senate of the Republic of Srpska.

Bosnia and Herzegovina, mostly Republika Srpska, is one of Russia's largest trading partners in the Western Balkans. Russian capital is widely represented in BiH. At the beginning of 2014, the accumulated Russian investments in BiH amounted to 877 million US dollars, while at the beginning of 2010 that amount was 541 million dollars with a tendency of constant growth in the future.
Most of this investment relates to Republika Srpska. The company "NeftegazInKor" bought the abandoned refinery "Bosanski Brod" (65% of shares), the Institute for the production of motor oil "Modri a" (62.3% of shares) and the network of gas stations "Petrol".
