Smart Toyota has been a great dealership and service center to work with. I recently purchased my 3rd Toyota and I have once again found that every person I dealt with were friendly and professional. This is a very well run dealership!

Smart Motors was incredibly helpful in finding the right car for me. Great service and selection. They definitely go above and beyond to serve- my old car literally broke down in their parking lot, and they moved it over to the side and called a towing company for me. I'm glad I bought a car here

The amenities are nice and make waiting tolerable....

The amenities are nice and make waiting tolerable. However, they are not honest with their prices. They sent a "coupon" of 10% off but somehow the bill ends the same as it was before the coupon.
1st screenshot is the quote i was given when i went the first time for an estimate. 2nd screenshot is what I ended up paying with the coupon I received!
One more thing, I feel so unsafe now driving the car with the "new" pads. I had to slam the brakes just yesterday to make a stop on time. I have been driving this car for 5yrs and never did I need to do that.

I have been a Toyota customer since college and this is the first time I feel cheated!

Edit: I had to go in for a service again a couple of days ago and they are still a horrible place to be. I have to go because they are the closest certified Toyota dealer but I'd recommend that anyone would find another place to go if they have the choice. Horrible service and unfriendly "service" advisors.

Great experience buying my first Toyota ever! Shaheid is so knowledgeable about all the bells and whistles in my new Highlander. I loved the ability to test drive a few vehicles and check out the hybrid models too. Financing was easy and overall a very smooth process.

A great car buying experience. The facilities are great. Large showroom allows many models to be able to be thoroughly checked out in a comfortable climate. Staff is friendly and attentive but not pushy.
Our salesman, Todd Wersland was outstanding. He answered all of our questions. He tracked down several different vehicles for us to test drive, very patiently and quickly. He was very transparent about all pricing as we went along, so when it came to writing the check, there were absolutely no surprises.
We really didn t have the intention of buying a vehicle that day, but Todd made it happen with his attention to detail, kindness, and consideration for the vehicle that we wanted.
I highly recommend Smart Motors Toyota and Todd Wersland for your next vehicle!

Supposed to pick up car Friday at 3:00. I called to make sure it was ready, was told no.
Rescheduled for Saturday at 1:00, was told it would be ready and the process would be 1 hour. At 2:00 the car was not ready so I sat and waited, finally left the dealership at 3:30 frustrated. This experience took all the excitement of getting a new car away.

This is the second and last car I will purchase from this dealer.

When I bought my Corolla, it came with the first 5 oil changes free. After I had used those, I got my next 2 oil changes elsewhere because it was cheaper. Never again! I now go back to Smart Motors because the service is so much better, plus a free car wash is included which is great. The workers are super friendly and the service is quick. They recently remodeled and the new layout of the waiting area is really nice.

Disappointed in the service and no follow-up on why the price was so high. $459 to diagnose and replace one spark plug and one spark plug wire on a 2004 Tacoma - $129 was to diagnose the problem so $330 for the work.

We have had cars serviced at Smart Motors in the past and it has usually been adequate. This service appointment was very poor. My wife brought the car in and felt immediately disrespected for being a woman who did not know much about cars. I had made the appointment and asked for an oil change, tire rotation, battery test and engine air filter. My wife waited for 2 1/2 hours. Finally a service representative came out and told her that car required $750.00 worth of repairs. My wife was bit panicked as she feared the car was not safe to drive. The "required" repairs were never adequately explained and in the end did not affect the car's safety (battery, wiper blades, shocks). Even after the lengthy wait, the air filter was never installed. My wife also had a small coupon ($10.00). When she asked if the coupon could be accepted, the service rep stated "I will accept it if I feel like it". I sent an e-mail to Smart Motors telling them of this poor service and never received a reply. This was a bad experience.

We just purchased a used Subaru Forester from Brandon Weidemann and could not have been more pleased with our experience! From the start, Brandon was enthusiastic and helpful without being pushy, which we really appreciated. We would work with him again in a heartbeat!

Since the car was pre-loved, it did have a few minor dents and scratches. These were fixed quickly and it looks brand new now! The car was also beautifully detailed and filled with a full tank of gas before we took it home. Great touches!

Daleena was very personable and efficient with the financing process. They both made the process seem like a breeze!

We will definitely be recommending Brandon, Daleena and Smart Motors to anyone in need of a new vehicle! Thanks again for making the car buying experience so enjoyable!

I have had many experiences with car service shops...

I have had many experiences with car service shops and Smart is one of the most professional and trustworthy. Previously I brought my Saturn to them for repair and after 4 attempts at GMC, I could not get it resolved. Smart fixed the issue after 1 visit and within 1 hour. I do think at times they are a little pricy. For instance, for tier replacement, I get them from Sam's club at about $250 less at the same or above quality grade tiers (Goodyear vs. Yokohama. For alignment, I come back to Smart.

Another example of a costly repair/service is the replacement of the spare wheel cover in the trunk...it was priced at $135+. Instead, I bought some plywood from Home Depot for $12 and then cut out the shapes (holes) in a bout 30 minutes.

Overall...I'm happy with the service, but there is some room for improvement so that customers don't have to run around looking for solutions/options.

We use Smart Motors Xpress Lube for our 2011 RAV4's maintenance. The main reason we use it is for the convenience of the hours they are open. The staff is very courteous and professional. An added bonus is Smart Motors is about $10 cheaper on a regular oil/filter change than competitors and we get a free car wash also.

Bless me Father for I have sinned. A year ago I left the order (Toyota) seeking solace in another (Jeep). Like the Prodigal Son I had an epiphany and returned, not just to Toyota but to Smart Motors....which makes this the 20th car I have purchased / leased from them since 1979.

Much has changed since 1979 - the dealership's physical plant (OMG!), technology, names and faces but what has NOT changed is the undying commitment to customer care that Smart Motors offers. This time it was the extra effort supplied by Sales Manager Mark Heckel that brought the deal to fruition. (Mark was assisted by salesman Manuel Socorro). With staff like this you have guaranteed your continued success, and I am already looking ahead to the #21 as my wife's car comes off of its lease.

Keep up the good work, Smart! You're the best.

We recently reached out to SMART Toyota looking for a competitive price on a Toyota Tacoma we had found an aggressive price at one of their competitors but being new to buying a car from a dealership, we decided to explore our options and see what else was out there. Once we had a few more data points we we re going to make our final decision.

Upon calling SMART, I spoke with Tim, the experience was pleasant. We received a quote. I wrote back explaining to the dealership that we had a more aggressive quote at a competitor, gave them our target price and must have features. Their response was a bit odd they told me that they didn t know how the competitor was meeting that price target and that I should be worried because there might be something up with the truck that you don t know but if that s the costing they were giving us we should go buy it if we re okay with that After a few more words of caution about this other dealer, the person we were working with said that we could buy the truck from them and have more confidence. He then gave me an offer $500 dollars below the competitors price. We were excited and made plans to see the truck later that night.

Upon arriving at SMART, the truck was ready for us. We took it for a test ride and said we we re happy with the truck, their attention to detail and their insight on our other experience. We were ready to purchase from them.

The manager, Tim, then handed us a pricing sheet that was $1000 above their quoted price. When I reminded him about his quote and our discussion, he instantly changed demeanor and began refusing to honor the price. He became annoyed and kept repeating I am not selling that truck to you for that price His denial of the promised price then became less steadfast. Even if I did say that price, I was in a car earlier, I was busy, even if I did say that price, I am not selling you the truck at that price he continued. Why would I tell you a price below theirs? Why? he added. I responded Because, in my mind, you were trying to win over a customer, someone who would be a good customer. We do that in my line of work. His response, again... I am not selling that truck to you for that price We walked out disappointed with the dealership and questioning if Toyota was a brand we wanted to keep at the top of our list. We have begun looking at producers and models outside of Toyota because of our experience with this dealer.

Truth be told price is always important but professionalism and treating people with respect is paramount. The ~30k dollar truck market is ultra-competitive. There are many models out there and a lot of dealers carrying models with nearly identical features. I believe it is the consumers job to be knowledgeable, flexible and diligent in their quest for an investment as large as a new vehicle they view as a way to enhance their life and keep their family safe. I also believe it is a dealerships responsibility to make the consumer feel confident in the product they are buying and earn the trust of who they are selling it to. We did our part SMART Toyota did not do theirs.

Our experience at SMART Toyota was very disappointing. I would not recommend shopping for a new car with them.

This was my second purchase through Smart Motors and I would do it again. Clint Phillips and Al Franklin were fantastic to work with. I am not a huge fan of the car buying process, but they made it easy, were willing to work with me on what I wanted and most importantly to me, they were fair. This was definitely the best vehicle purchase process I have been through.

Love this place! Sometimes it s slow and has a longer wait than anticipated- that s why I gave 4 stars because they need to be better about updating on delays. However, they offer great perks for waiting- good snacks (love the cookies and the healthy options) and manicures on mondays! It s never overcrowded in the wait area too which is nice.

Personal and quality service. Service rep went on lengthy drive with me to try to figure out where specific noise was coming from - and it wasn't obvious. In the end the service team discovered it and got rid of it. Great thing was that in the end it was a much easier and less expensive fix than I thought it might be. Easy and effective service experience!

They did what they were suppose to. But I would like to point out that the person handling my services could use some customer service skills improvement. He had very little eye contact and rarely smiled. I set up an appointment at 8:00 am, and when asked when I would like the car back (assuming my car be worked on at my appointment time) I told them whenever they were done. The person replied back, "so if you get it at 4pm that's okay?" I almost lost it. What are appointments for if the car won't be worked on it at the appointment time?! I told the Toyota person I expected the car to be done in a reasonable time. He replied that the cars are worked on accordingly to those customers who actually stayed at Toyota and waited. I was dropping the car off because I did not want to sit in the lounge for at least two hours while my car was serviced. I told them that I would tell my friend (whoes been waiting for at least 10 mins while I waited for someone to attend to me) to go back home and I would sit in THEIR lounge and wait for MY car if that's what it took for them to start working on my car. The service person then told me, "oh it shouldn't be a problem, we can get right on it."

Now I'm trying to understand that Toyota (I'm sure other major dealers do this too) is trying to service cars to those who are waiting, but just because I'm not there physically doesn't mean I am not waiting for my car as well. If this is the case, what's the whole point of setting an appointment early. My intention was to get the car in early so I can get it back asap.

Like I said, Toyota did what they were suppose to. But if I wanted to just drop off my car and wait all day to get my car back for a 2 hour job I mind as well go to a local small shop whose willing to start on my car at the schedule time.

Came in for my 5,000 mile first service call on my new 2014 Prius, even though I bought the car in Milwaukee. It was super easy to set up an appointment online. When I arrived, my car and I were handled with care. I was quickly walked through the necessary paperwork, and then set up in the lounge to wait. The man said the service typically takes an hour, but it was done about 10 minutes sooner, helping me get back to work faster. There was plenty of food and beverages in the lounge to hold me over, as well as comfy chairs and a flat screen TV. When I got the car back, I was happy to see extra steps had been taken, like a fresh car wash and cleaned and vacuumed front floor mats. Great experience all around and another reason why I love Toyota. Thanks guys!!

The service itself is perfect, but I get there just for a regular service oil change. The (manager?) there told me a lot things are REQUIRED to be checked. Finally they replaced somethings and charged me around $200. But when I saw the bill, every item is written as that the customer REQUESTED to check. I didn't request they check anything. The manager told me it should be checked according to some kind of rules. I just don't know it is a trick to charge me more, or it is really necessary.

I worked with Pete and had a seamless and very satisfying experience. I was there to view a 2015 and left with a much nicer vehicle in much better shape while still in my budget. I had dealings with 2 other dealerships and Smart left me feeling the best by a wide margin. Then I emailed him to give a description of vehicles and the price range I would like and he emailed me back and said I was unrealistic. Very rude and overpriced! Avoid! My mother has purchased almost all of our vehicles from smart motors. So it was a no brainer when it came down to choosing where to begin the search for a used vehicle. We recently purchased a 2001 Toyota Camry from JJ at the budget lot, when our old 1997 Camry died at just about 200,000 miles. JJ was excellent, he welcomed us like family and walked us through the process of purchasing a replacement vehicle. The 2001 Camry was an excellent choice and it is serving it's purpose as the all around family car quite well!

I myself, had been searching for car for about a year and have been fortunate enough to have access to the family car when needed. I was however, very interested in purchasing a vehicle for myself, and gave JJ some basic information in regards to what i was interested in looking at. Soon after, I received a call from JJ stating that a 2007 Hyundai Elantra Limited had just come in and I should stop by and check it out. I stopped by the next day, on a whim and without notice, to take a look (the vehicle had just arrived and had not yet gone to inspection), but JJ was kind enough to bring the vehicle out front and let me have a look. He then immediately moved the car up in the line up for inspection to make sure that It would be ready for me in a few days.

A few days later I stopped back in to take a look at the vehicle again, and take it for a test drive. I knew that moment the car was mine. JJ held the car until my mother was able to come and take a look, and allowed us the time and information we needed in order to make the final decision. Throughout the entire process, JJ was very forthcoming about any concerns we had and with extreme patience, and always a smile, (even after the numerous phone calls from me and my mother with never ending questions, and the random drop in visits on my part) let us know what our options were every step of the way.

This was my first car buying experience and I will admit, prior to this experience, the thought of purchasing a vehicle was somewhat overwhelming. The purchase of my new (used) 2007 Hyundai Elantra Limited could not have been easier! Thank you so much to JJ for going above and beyond and making this THE BEST first car buying experience one could ask for. I will highly recommend JJ and Smart Motors to anyone I know looking for a used or new vehicle. Your service was greatly appreciated!!

I went to Smart Motors on Saturday and had the privilege to work with Jessica, she was spot on with everything. Not only was she attentive to anything I had to say, she was honest and put my comfort above anything else while I was there. She didn't pressure me to buy and you could really tell her goal was to make your dream of purchasing a car a reality. She adopted all of my wants and needs as her own and completely excelled at delivering the perfect car for me. Truly was an amazing experience and I'll be back for all my future car purchases, thanks to her!

I don't recommend going here to service your vehicle. I took my car in with a check engine light. It took 3.5 hours for them to start the test and asked to keep my car from saturday until monday without giving me an estimate or even knowing what was wrong with it. I suspect it was a sales tactic to get me to take a loaner vehicle as an attempt to get a trade in sale. I can't be sure as I asked for my vehicle back that day, but either way 3.5 hours to perform a 30min diagnostic test seems way to long to me.

Gary Frederick was great - really knows his stuff! The Finance Mgr, Dana Raker, was polite and efficient. John Morrison did a super job setting up all the apps and systems in my new 2018 Camry. A really professional team at Smart Motors, to go with an unbelievably well-engineered car from Toyota. Car gets 40+ mpg on the Interstate!!

Overall, we had a very good experience with Smart Motors. The salesperson we met was Gary. He was kind, dedicated, patient, professional, and very welcoming to us. We were there to buy a new car for our son, who was convinced on buying a Honda, but Gary gave us a deal we could not turn down and showed us how great their new corolla was, so we have been pick up that car on that same day.
Thank you so much to Gary, the finance guy, and Smart Motors team! We will definitely be back in future for more cars for our family. We strongly recommend them.

I love going here. It's not the cheapest place for service, but there's nowhere in town where you are treated so nicely. My kids love hanging out while our vehicle is serviced. They have a fantastic waiting area with a separate space for kids to watch tv or play. They also have a vsriety of tasty snavks to munch on for free. On Mondays you can get a free manicure or on Tuesdays get a free massage. When we purchased our vehicle we were treated respectfully and got a great price. Highly recommend.

Over the years my husband and I have purchased fiveToyota's from Smart Motors; two Tundra's, one Avalon, a Prius V. and now a Highlander Hybrid. Obviously we like Toyota's and the service at Smart Motors. Recently we suggested to one or our sons that he look at Smart Motors when he was looking to purchase his first car. He looked at several dealerships and many cars. He bought a used Rav 4 from Smart motors. We have sometimes had our cars serviced at Smart Motors and sometimes at other places. But mostly we have come to trust the service at Smart Motor's. Some of the "neighborhood" centers are cheaper, and often gave good service. But we have had enough bad experiences with the local shops that we decided that we would go with the service department at Smart Motors. They have always treated us well.

I asked for and didn t receive any information about the 6 month warranty. I had to drive to the dealership and ask again in person. What I got was a photocopy of a display.
