The worst firm you could possibly go with 4 years ...

The worst firm you could possibly go with 4 years of time wasting to say I had no claim. Didn't help me at all, made me out to be at fault in the end so I dropped the claim as they couldn't be fussed to represent me in court even after the other insurance accepted blame for a hit and run on me, they tried to make me out to be a liar because I had an ankle issue in the past and declared it, so essentially telling the truth was my undoing. Whenever I rang or emailed my advisor, Wendy, was always"busy" or "on the phone" told me to wait for the year mark to pass that it wouldn't go to court it did and they didn't want to represent me despite the other insurance accepting blame. If you previously had an issue then walk out into the road and get run over your injury can't get any worse according to Slater Gordon logic. They contacted me me initially then to waste 4years of my life, me having to gather all the information and letters to run me through the ringer. AVOID at all costs.

My involvement was due to having Honda Accident Assistance. The team were very helpful, but I'd like to thank offer special thanks to Matthew and Helly for their great customer support. They guided me through what has been a confusing and stressful episode, my first accident and especially being a non fault accident.
I was very upset and frustrated and both Matthew and Helly empathised and were patient with me. I hope their great customer service will be acknowledged by their manager.

Had my repairs etc. handled by Slater Gordon Solutions. Couldn't be happier to be honest. The staff is very friendly and polite. Everything was handled perfectly. If you have to choose between your own insurer and SGS, I would go with SGS.

I was involved in an accident that wasn t my fault with a coach reversing into me. My insurance passed me on to Slater Gordon amazing customer Service, being my first car I was worried it would be a write off and I was praying it wouldn t be. My agent Rodger did everything he possibly could which meant my car was repaired! He also set up a hire car for me that arrived the day after the accident. Amazing communication calling me and explaining every stage. Thanks to Roger I am back on the roads in my favourite car.

Worst solicitors I have ever dealt with.
Promise you a good claim, takes 2.5 yrs to get any sort of compensation, you have to chase them up all the time as they never contact you. Just found out today after chasing them for 8 months they closed my case with no form of communication to me.

I dont know why its showing my partners name for this review but it's not himself written this review. Its myself Brooke Reid and trust me I hate to complain and I am not one to right reviews but my experience with slater gordon motors hasn't been great nothing but stress. Wrong information been giving now 3 times. Leaving me constantly chasing and wondering what's going on nothing explained and one employ being very condescending and trying to push the fault else where when being a first time driver not knowing what's going on and trusting in these people to be failed. My car was written of no fault of my own and this company was suppose to take the stress away but they actually caused alot of it. My anxiety has been through the roof and for an accident that happened the 30th of June it's a serious joke that I am still having to contact people from the company. At the start I was quite positive that they were dealing with everything but wasnt I wrong. Unfortunately I wouldn't recommend and I really hope no one has to experience what I have had to over the past 2 months. Sorry to be written this but I am so disappointed with the experience and I'll be thankful when I dont have to contact the Sater Gordon solution motors again.

Slater Gordon were appointed by my insurance company following a no-fault accident I was involved in. Their staff are friendly, efficient and when I have experienced problems (mostly with a rental company who were lete in a delivery) they were quick to act and swift in their apologies. The call centre staff are great. I just had a call with Darren and he really brightened up my Friday!

The service from Slater Gordon has been beyond what I expected. You are kept in the loop about the process from start to finish with regular updates - this is super helpful as the process can be long and confusing.
Roger from the Claim Managements Team was assigned to me and he has been amazing - explaining processes and steps to ensure I know exactly what is going on.
Really impressed with the service!!

Slater Gordon looked after me well, after my truck had been involved in a collision which was not my fault. After the incident they had my truck booked in for repair along with a courtesy truck for myself to drive for the duration of the repairs, I had constant updates via phone calls, texts and email, all staff were polite and informative. Overall good experience from a bad situation. My truck has come back in great condition and would recommend Slater Gordon Solutions to anyone.

My car got written off by a hit and run less than a week before the only UK holiday we are going to get this year (saving for a wedding). I was devastated as I love my cars and a lot of the enjoyment would come from driving around seeing the sights. My insurance company used a loop hole to avoid giving me a courtesy car. Slater Gordon got me a replacement car that is of the same performance level of my car. Oliver, you are an absolute hero and you've really helped me out.

I've had a great experience with slater gordon solutions, especially with Julie who reassured me and kept me updated whenever I needed it. Everyone there is lovely and patient and kind and never seem to be happy to take whatever time it takes to get you where you need to be. They supplied me with a hire car pretty much immediately and there's never any waiting time to get through to them. All round a great experience.

Decent and prompt service!

Since I got in touch with the company, I had been informed of all the updates throughout the repairing process. I was amazed of how simple and transparent was the procedures of handling my car's accident, which was the other party's fault.

I was given like a link to follow which then helped me to setup a claim acount through which I could get a live update on my vehicle claim's status.

The damage was on the front bumper, nearside front wheel and one parking sensor. Now it's hisorty, like never happened!

Thanks lads, keep up the great work.

At the moment not impressed at all. My daughter was in an non fault accident. 14 days ago I have to keep phoning to try and get this sorted. I have even had a engineer report done which has decided the car a write off! ( as the floor is bent) to be told on Thursday the car will be repaired? How I don't know! Still I have never been phoned with an update. As I sit here I have been on hold for 25 minutes so far!! I think the next step would be to phone more than as they are my insurance company and they put me straight on To these. Only want to get the car sorted. It's becoming hard work.By the way I paid someone to do the report for myself. Which at the moment is different from there's?

To say this company is one for dealing with cars insurance my was damaged with a jet wash the brush scratched it all over it was sent to Fw wallace in Sheffield not a choice of mine who supposed to.have sprayed bonnet and roof of the car couple of weeks after having it back they started to appear again so they had a investigation engineer come out who didnt take anything in i was saying about the scratches been still there and advised it go to a detail polisher who as done a excellent job but the main scratches are still on the car and the lad with alot of experience said the car had not been sprayed I kept them upto date with everything then they sent a email telling me to
(stop correspondence with them hope im satisfied with the work carried out on my car and if I want to complain to take to ombudsman. ) Still not resolved to my satisfaction making me feel like im in the wrong if they would have used the right garage to start with
then I wouldn't still be complaining instead you ignored what I've said thinking I dont know what im talking about.

Avoid these people in event of a non-fault accident you will be made to feel at fault with the unnecessary charges sent your way

Use this company at your peril I now have a complaint going through the financial conduct authority for the way I ve been treated to try and cover some of the money that I have lost In an accident that wasn t my fault

They don t listen to anything that you request it s all their way or nothing at all

They get paid for the job and everybody else involved in your claim will get paid for the job you will lose money!!!

My car was hit side on by a very large delivery van on a very busy duel carriage way, the driver had fallen asleep at the wheel. Luckily I was able to keep control of the car & prevented what could have been a disaster. My insurance company put me in touch with Slater Gordan Solution, who were extreamly compassionate & understanding, what seemed like no time at all, a removal lorry came to take my undrivable car away, and lovely curtacey car was delivered to my door a few hours after. The whole process was stress free. Thankyou to the whole team.

My "no fault" incident has been brought to a sucessful conclusion in six days. Matt Carey, my contact, had a hire car delivered in less than 24 hours and handled my claim in a precise and courteous manner.
My thanks also to Shanna Moody, of Srata Solicitors, who contacted me
immediately "post incident" and then to bring the claim to a close.

Absolute diabolical service.After changing file handlers for the same reasons 6 months ago i suffered the exact same problems as the first handler.Lack of communication as i had to do the chasing for updates and when i did the file handler was out of the office.Bad attitudes by there staff when complaints were raised and a major lack in understanding how the claims portal system works.For a company who is meant to work on your behalf and be on your side i regret to say they have failed in a massive way.My claim had liability admitted then withdrawn and this shambles of a company did not inform me of this for 4 months.I also see reading other comments that i am not the first person to suffer this fate with this company.I was offered this company from a accident management firm who dealt with the hire car after a women ran in to the rear of my vehicle whilst my infant twins and wife were in the car.I wish i had gone to a different firm.
You have been warned this company is no good and there are better ones out there.

Very very poor service

Very very poor service
No one calls you to give you an update on your file
They tell you one thing and do another
8 months on and I'm still waiting and I was told my case was simple and it would be resolved within 8weeks.

They honestly don't deserve 1 star

Will make a complaint to the ombudsman

The staff were always friendly and happy to answer any questions I had. My car was damaged back in May 2018 and throughout the ordeal with getting it fixed and finding a hire vehicle, Slater Gordon Solutions have been absolutely brilliant. They keep me well informed about developments with my car and nothing is ever a problem for them in terms of any queries I may have.

On Friday 10th August, I was helped by Dan for an issue regarding getting a parking permit for the hire vehicle. The only parking where I live is either paying for a maximum of 3 hours or having a permit for the area. I have an existing permit for my damaged car, so whilst it's getting fixed and I have a hire vehicle, I needed it changed or a temporary one for the new car.

The local council were rather hesitant to change my permit due to a number of misunderstandings with paper work etc. Knowing that I should definitely be eligible for the permit, I instantly phoned Slater Gordon Solutions, gave a long-winded explanation of the situation to Dan and was met with calmness and quick thinking. After phoning the hire company and the council on my behalf (long story short), Dan managed to explain and rectify the issue, meaning that I could now return to the council and get the permit I needed.

Without Dan's help, I would have to had found parking miles away from my home which is not ideal both for safety of the vehicle and practicability. Dan showed amazing initiative in a situation that was probably a first for him and saved me a lot of stress in doing so.

So thank you Slater Gordon and thank you Dan.

Have finally moved car insurance from Churchill du...

Have finally moved car insurance from Churchill due to them using Slater Gordon as their solicitors in my claim. Completely incompetent and I actually wonder what they all do all day. They even asked me to get witness statements for my accident, erm, isn t really my job? They never updated me on supposed progress and took six months just to send a recording to third party. They still hadn t recovered their costs 18 months later, we ll no longer my problem now I ve moved insurers!

After having a stressful time dealing with my own insurance company after a crash, Slater Gordon were fantastic at helping, and Robert was especially helpful. He did all he could to ensure i was given all the support i needed, and went to the extra effort to help me get the best outcome possible.
