The only thing I can say is it's awesome I have done it twice once in Australia and once in Dubai but in Australia the instructors were rude and none is confident about weather and finally they cancelled and postponed 2 days later and even charged 6k extra as it was weakened..
But here Dubai experience was just awesome......

I did Dubai Tandem Skydive in November 2011. It was very spectacular especially with the location and views.
The Tandem Master was very professional and I felt safe with him.
The jump was great and the landing was perfect.

Went skydiving with my wife on our honeymoon. We were very impressed with the quality of the operation at Skydive Dubai. Everyone was professional and once things got moving (we were on a weather standby for a few hours after our scheduled slot), we got our training and were up in the air and out the door before we knew it. My only word of warning is to be aware that you may not go at your allotted time due to weather, so it's worth deciding how much time you're willing to spend sitting around when there are so many other attractions to experience in Dubai.

Awesome experience to the core. You will never forget the chills of those few seconds when u look out from the plane doors moments before u make the leap... the feel of ur skin crawling out of ur body as u do the free fall, followed by immense sense of peace while the parachute opens up and u stroll out in the skies looking at the immense beauty of Dubai!!

Well it's sky dive who doesn't love sky diving and here while sky diving we can get the view of the whole palm island it's really awesome it's the bestttt and once you dive from plain it'll be like 6-8 min(approx) till u reach ground. It's one of the best experience and everyone should try that and diving over palm island might be a bit costly so they also have diving over the desert.
Personally experienced. One the best and safest SkyDive. Best trained instructor.
This will be the best spend money in your life, only one thing missing is a pencil at the desk to sign 30pages of tandem waiver.

Both were amazing and really helped me through the nerves, made me feel super comfortable and in the end, i just wanted to get back up there to do it all over again! Dive was an awesome experience !!! BUT ticketing staff is not friendly and make sure you plan for 3 - 4 hours delay at any time without notice even for tickets booked earlier through their online portal. Thats very poor service delivery.

I have always wanted to do skydivin, went crazy when I knew there is one in Dubai!
They are very cooperative, I got sick and I had to postpone, then rescheduled after two months. What bothered me the delay, I went 10:30 and we didn t jump till after more than 2 hours. It was insane experience.. It was like a dream. They will give brief training, the instructor will suit you up! Lol. Then after fee minutes all if the skydivers and the instructors and photographers will get in the helicopter. And there the fun begins. Afterwards a USB will be in the shop waiting for you :)

We had the best time ever here, never thought I'd feel so safe jumping 13,000 ft out of a plane. The whole process was very well put together. We did the tandem dive which includes a personal photographer / videography which they present you with a awesome video up to an hour after your jump. My only criticism would be is the time you book seems to be a loose check in time and you have to wait an hour or two before your names called.

Busy place. Bring food/water with you. You will most likely not jump out at your appt time. It is worth every penny doing it at the palm location for the view and the experience. They have lockers for your belongings.

The place is so far my dream place to work, the ambience is so subtle yet feel so energetic, I have a family of 5 and everyone wanted to skydive and we booked 4 online as my mom's was scared initially, but as soon as we were in the facility, looking at the ambience and the trainer's, she was motivated to do the jump, so the desk people suggested us to put her name in the waiting list and see if there is any cancellations, we requested alot to make the jump possible and (I think) they called her name first even thought she was 4th on the waiting list, I can only thank the guy on the desk ( can't remember the name but if you are reading this just letting you know you are the man!!) We made the payment and within 30 mins, she was ready for the jump!!
My husband tried Gyrocopter . The experience was amazing ! He really enjoyed it. The staff is friendly and they mad the ride so special. He saw dubai s iconic from the top. He said it is so different and amazing to see it from the top. He s going next for sky diving

It was a fun experience and they do a good job with safety and protocol.
However, I think your experience also highly depends on the instructor. My parents both had awesome instructors and videographers who were fun and coordinated with each other to produce an amazing experience and incredible photos and footage.
My instructor seemed indifferent (like he was just trying to get another job over with) and my photographer was just randomly taking photos - video footage was unskilled and taken at the worst angles and when I saw my photos, I was very disappointed that after paying that much money for a once in a lifetime experience, I did not even have a single good shot where you could see me with the Palm Island view. I think my instructor s name was George and my photographer s name was Koba (Kuba?) so try to avoid them if you can.
Last pro tip: don t buy the Instagram edited video upfront - after your dive they ll provide a watermarked one and you can buy it then if you like it

Skydive Dubai provided my sister and I a great experience for our first tandem skydiving experience.
The check-in process was a bit disorganized and took a while for everyone to get checked in. However, after checking in we waited approximately 30 minutes before getting called to put our gear on.
Both our skydiver's were very friendly, energetic, enthusiastic, and made us feel safe and comfortable before and during our jump.
The only nerve-wracking part was when the plane is going up and reality hits that you're going to be jumping out of a plane very soon haha. There is no stomach drop feeling when you jump like when you go down a roller coaster. It was such an experience to jump out of a plane! The only downside was that my goggles weren't tight enough as they slid up my face and I attempted to adjust them during free-fall. I wasn't able to fully open my eyes because of the goggles sliding up to my eyes. The view of Dubai was breath-taking when we floated down in the parachute. My skydiving guide pointed out all the highlights of the city.
When we got back to land, it didn't take very long for our USB to be ready. We got to enjoy the pictures and video on site with the computers they have there.
I would 100% highly recommend skydiving at this location because the staff and view is amazing! If I ever go back to Dubai I would do this again and make sure the goggles are on super tight just in case!
I cant describe in words what this feels. Trust me - if you want to experience heaven this is the place. They offer you dive from 13000 feet with a frefall of around 60 seconds. I wasnt ready to try this but my wife convinced me. And after doing this i really want to do thos again. The best experience of my life. This one is no doubt the most expensive skydive but believe me worth every single penny. The views over palm are breathtaking. Dont be scared at all as they take best measures to make sure you have a secured experience. Thank you Skydive Dubai.

Cancelled everything after 8 hours waiting for any information. Did NOT tell everyone it was cancelled but only to few people in order to allow them to come back the day after (and the other one had not this option)
-> Has still not refund the money more than 1 month after the cancellation !!
We came from Abu Dhabi, waited for 8 hours (plus 4 hours in the taxis -> 12 hours) and they did not even propose something to drink in order to wait or anything after the cancellation (NOT EVEN A SMILE) !
