Sky Venus Beach Hotel & Residence Review

I was only there one night and I would like to repeat. I loved the hotel and the area.

Staff and hotel food was excellent, relaxing atmosphere and an ideal location in Paphos.. would recommend for sure.

However, the staff was only partly very friendly, food was not enough for everyone, in the three-bed room (double bed + couch), couch was very uncomfortable

State once here for a week and it was great , large variety of delicious food, friendly staff, spacious rooms and of course a very big pool with a lot of sunbeds!

Lovely hotel with great views right next to the sea. Small beach just a walk away. Nice modern refurbished rooms all with a balcony. Great location with easy use of the bus network right outside the hotel

Could do with proper coffee and rooms could be abit higher standard, bed like a rock. However the pool area was really nice and the beach plus the bar was pretty good with strong drinks and an excellent sea view

We had an accidental 24 hours in this delightful hotel, due to the collapse of Thomas Cook..... it was a beautiful place to stay, with helpful and professional staff. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, with high quality furnishings and lush shower. The restaurant was great and we enjoyed a lovely and varied breakfast, followed by time at the pool bar and outside eatery later in the day. ..... we will be booking a holiday at this hotel soon........ a very happy accident indeed ......

We are in Cyprus for the 3rd time. This year we rested in Venus Beach from September 20-30. We arrived at the hotel at 11, at the reception we were asked to wait while the room was being cleaned, but at the same time we put on bracelets and said that we could go for a walk and have lunch. We settled in a room at about 13 on the 4th floor. We gave 2 key cards, 2 cards for beach towels. There were welcome fruits in the room. The refrigerator is small, free, without filling. The safe is free, wi-fi in the room and pool average (quite often flies), although sometimes it was possible to watch and movies. Towels: 2 pieces large, each little, for feet (changed every day). Shampoo, gel, body lotion. Beds do not creak, mattresses are not washed, bed white (change at your request, if you put a card on the bed), but correct the cover every day. floors and plumbing) every day. The air conditioner is central, noiseless, it worked perfectly. Because the beaches in Cyprus are not the same as in Turkey, we certainly knew, so we were very pleased that the breakwater was built in front of the hotel and sand was brought to the beach. in the sea it is quite possible to go without special shoes. The sea was very t ploe .u and clean the pool deck chairs and umbrellas always had .Polotentsa can be changed at least once a day. The music from the bar did not play very loudly (and this is very good). The animator invited me to play water volleyball, water aerobics, gymnastics, and I taught dance. But it was always unobtrusive. we didn t see, but in the bar, the singers sang live under the synthesizer. The bar service is very fast, the Russian-speaking waiters are always smiling and attentive (hello to Vasiliyu). The food in the restaurant is excellent, varied! For breakfast: yogurts, cereals, muesli, eggs in all kinds, cheeses, cold cuts, croissants, muffins ... Lunches and dinners: lots of vegetables, steamed vegetables and grilled salads, there were also mussels and octopus. Meat of all kinds: chicken, turkey, pork, beef, lamb (and stew and grilled). A lot of various sauces and seasonings. Delicious sweets. Fruits: apples, pears, grapes, plums, bananas, cantaloupe. Alcohol varied, bring the waiters. There is a small shop at the hotel. In general, we really liked the hotel. If you want a quiet, quiet stay, then you are here!

MAXIMUM 3 STARS DO NOT UNDERSTAND ANY WAY FROM WHERE 5 STARS IF THERE IS NO EVEN A GRAPHINE WITH DRINKING WATER

Good hotel. In the year 14, we rested in Aulis 4 stars, the hotel opposite and everything is about the same. Even the furniture. Sandy beach of course no. And by the pool you can sunbathe. Children's pool is. A lot of chlorine in the adult pool. And in October, the day is hot and the water still does not warm up. But in Aulis we were in August and the water was like fresh milk. How in avlida with chlorine I do not remember. They feed the same thing there. But in avlida ice cream was always during the day. And here in the morning and in the evening. And in Aulis there were snacks at the bar, sandwiches and pizzas ... fruits and sweets in the intervals between lunch and dinner and breakfast and lunch. But here they feed no worse and there is enough food. There is also a supermarket nearby. Everything is there. Baby food only fruit from 8 months. Diapers are. Products. And clothes. Well, supposedly our ashana. Below is a store in the hotel on the 0th floor. At -1 gym. Massage chair. Beauty saloon. Sockets with three pins. But the bathroom has two pins like ours but at 240v and 110v. But I use and everything is OK. I asked for a kettle and fridge in the room. Have brought. Cleaned every day. Change bed linen every day.

Great hotel and well located. I visited with my partner and friend. Air con here is a god send and probably the best every experienced. It's located directly on the beach with a perfect temperature and it's beautiful.

The hotel has a gym, massage area, games area, bars and dining area. Breakfast is lovely and a perfect way to start your day.

Has a Lidls across the road which is super handy for cheap alcohol. Don't bother with taxis if possible as there is a bus for 1.5 euros to the harbour and they run until midnight. A taxi will charge you 5 euros in the day and 10 at night after buses finish.

The hotel is a bout a 10 minute walk to nearby restaurants and bars but it's on a flat road and honestly not that bad.

ATM's are everywhere so no problem getting access to cash and all the staff and people in general are super friendly.

You don't really get bothered by restaurant staff unless you visit the harbour. Hotel is COVID friendly and very good.

Overall a truly lovely experience and I would visit again.

Only concern is with the wash room / shower. Basically there is no grip in the room and can take some time to drain also. The lack of grip means it can be very easy to slip and hurt yourself if your not careful. Many guests I spoke to around the pool felt the same. Could be an accident waiting to happen.

Four stars because the beach is really poor and eating practically every day the same. The rest at a really high level. Very nice service, clean well-equipped rooms, beautiful pool with very clean water. I have a good conscience recommend this hotel to everyone.

Were with my wife at the beginning of June 2016. In principle, the hotel pulls up on its 4 * hotel, as it positions itself. Of the minuses, I can only notice the lack of internet, but for 30 per week throughout the territory and within a radius of 100m from the hotel they will. Or, for 20, take a local SIM card into the phone and distribute it to the tablet and laptop in general around the island. The second minus - the maids stubbornly cut down the condo. After them, you must ALWAYS go ahead and turn on, otherwise in a couple of hours the room will have an oven.
The rest of the hotel is good. On foot to the center 15 minutes (to the ring and there to the left), to the port half an hour, but better by bus.
From the hotel to the tombs you can walk for free - there is one section of the fence tumbled down)))
In general - I recommend.

This hotel is definitely not 5 star. There are no restaurants (as it states) all inclusive is not all inclusive, the mini bar was empty and you had to pay to have it filled. The staff are rude apart from a few - the cocktail bar staff are nice, especially Marta and Barbara. The lobby is the only decent thing about this hotel. We had to go out for food and buy our own drink as the local spirits were not tolerable. All food is buffet food - not five star.

Charming hotel, excellent location with private beach surrounded by a breakwater making it a kind of lagoon. The room is pampering and clean, the towels and sheets are fragrant and pleasant. The pool is wonderful, but there is no indoor part.
Relatively few Israelis, mainly Europeans who look like roasted tomatoes
The problems ... Public spaces are not air-conditioned and that's terrible.
The food was the real problem... The dinner was shocking, a poor selection of dishes that were mostly inedible.
Breakfast was a bit more normal. After one traumatic experience we exchanged dinner at lunch. Nuggets and fries did the trick.
Note to self Breakfast is definitely enough to have enough food out and cheap.

The hotel is large but the standard meets what the offer shows. Considerable room, meals very varied - everyone will find something for themselves.
There is no swimming pool but so big for playing and splashing with children. Behind the beach is almost OK and quite sheltered from the sandy sea stone falohronem ...

A very average hotel at best. I Stayed here for 10 nights with a couple of mates, and i can safely say this is NOT a 5-star hotel. The rooms are old fashioned, the staff are unhelpful, and you have to pay to use their wifi (2 euros per hour!) The hotel lacks any real creativity and never really works in order to benefit their customers - heavily contrasting their "5-star" service. I would recommend to stay clear of this hotel, and hopefully they will change something with all these negative reviews stating the same problems. It was safe to say i was disappointed with this hotel.

Good hotel to sleep and eat with a good location. 5 stars of course not. Instead of a beach, a small strip of sand. It is impossible to enter the sea when there is agitation - stones and a strong current. There is always excitement. You can stand up to the waist in the waves.
In order to swim (including with children) you need to take 20 minutes by bus 615 (with air conditioning) to excellent beaches - Korel Bay and Coralian beach (terminus). 1.5 euro per 1 end or 5 euro day ticket. Children 50%. All beaches within walking distance is not very.
The food is normal: for lunch and dinner, eat meat - always pork, chicken, less often fish, beef, lamb. 1-2 varieties of cheese. Roasted, steamed vegetables. Breakfast: eggs in different types, bacon, sausages, yoghurts, cereals, balls, oatmeal, toast with jams. Curd no. Cooking quality is average.
The rooms are spacious, a bit old. The linen changes regularly.
Wi-fi paid - 30 euro / week (speed canceled). Fridge, safe paid.
There is a pool, but by lunch time the water in it warms to 35 degrees.
Opposite the grocery supermarket Lidl. The center is also close - 30 minutes on foot.

Okay for a base to sleep. Hotel was clean, house keeping were excellent. Food wasn't great. And shocked to find in a 4/5star hotel no room safe or tea and coffee facilities in the room.

Wonderfully situated hotel great pool and beach only yards away we are going again in 2019 the staff are wonderful can t wait for the return visit. local restaurants nearby are first class .tomb of the kings in very good but we went on a hot day and struggled to get all the way around I d advise turtle watching in a boat from the port going out so that your at sea when the sunsets amazing

Terrible beach. More like a construction site than an actual beach. Very rocky with crashing waves, could actually be very dangerous. There's no sand, just dirt

the service is very good unfortunately we have a not yet renovated room but the rest of the area is very well maintained. There are even a few golf course and other Ftezeitbeieftigungen.

The hotel was really good. The staff is friendly and ready to answer any question you have. Be aware of its destination from the harbour. Buses are pretty expensive.

Awful place- only advise coming if you re here for all inclusive drinking, and that s cheaper elsewhere. Rude staff, dodgy cleaning, and shouting all night. Also not all rooms have functioning air conditioning- so I was moved into a room that seemed to have been used- and no heating. Staff not particularly happy to give our blankets, blankets and some other linen is also stained.

A lovely hotel, not very modern, the staff very kind, the hotel clean, the pool has a lot of chlorine, varied meals, in front of the hotel there is a great writer.

ABSOLUTELY DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL. I sent my clients here via Thomas Cook. BIG mistake on both accounts. Not a 5* hotel with clients reporting the hotel and rooms were unclean, and staff were rude and unhelpful. Not what you would expect from a so called 5* hotel and didn't help that my clients received no help or contact in resort despite launching several complaints and call to action.

Very good hotel I was in this hotel on 2018 but this is not important, the service in the hotel was incredible, the hotel have all what I need in my vacation.

Clean with great views, both the pool and beech are large enough to cater for their residents. Friendly staff and a good location as well.

Hotel is very nice and warm and friendly attitude. We were very pleased.

The hotel looks just like the pictures , it s a short walk from the beach and is on the main strip so there s loads of places to eat out , the staff in the hotel are amazing and so helpful , they even fished my costume out of a bush from the balcony ! The only downfall is that the pool closes at 6pm which feels too early but didn t ruin our experience, we had an amazing holiday and would definitely come again and recommend to others

I would recommend a hotel renovated according to me 4 stars. Clean and tidy. Food average but there was always something to choose from.

Hotel very nice, although not young, cleaning service and change of towels every day. Staff very nice, complete with problems does not do anything. The food was great, I think everyone will find something for themselves. Beautiful views from the hotel. recommend

Was very unpleasant experience.... Grumpy staff.... Food not great..... Wonder how it's got so many stars.... Would never recommend anyone..... Only plus is its close by to the tomb of kings

Would defiantly not recommend this hotel! Don't know how it got 5 stars, breakfast was horrible same choice everyday and if your vegatarian or don't eat certain foods for religious reasons there's no choice of foods for you in the end we are breakfast out everyday. Staff were always mardy towards guests and other staff members. Only good thing I can say about this hotel is the cleaners were brilliant!!! Long walk to the harbour and shops/restaurant there are buses though if your thinking of staying here I would look somewhere else!!!!

Hotel cool, beach good, rooms after reconstruction but a bit unfinished !!!! Old door .... Wifi ??? !!!! During the stay in 10 days we could not connect !!! We had paid all inclusive but all in ... there was only breakfast !!! Lunch and dinner were to choose from several dishes !!!!!

Hotel in Paphos, Cyprus. Perfectly located by the sea with a grassy beach and quite comfortable. The grassy beach is located by the hotel pool with free sun loungers. The restaurant serves three meals with dishes to choose from. Between meals, you can also drink a variety of beverages or eat ice cream in the beach or floor bar. From the hotel to the historic center of Paphos, approximately 4 km. The Tombs of the Kings are nearby. To go down to the sea and take a bath you have to go down the rocks. This descent is unusual and has its own charm.

Normal hotel. Kind staff. Seeing us, always hungry, as we collect sandwiches with us on a trip at breakfast, they did not object, as they do in other hotels. On the contrary, they offered different snacks while we were waiting for someone from always late in the lobby.
Its own beach on which a unique atmosphere is created at night .. no romance. But silence and tranquility .. and waves .. there they say a discontinuous current, maybe it sounds so especially so.
The hotel rooms are like in the best Soviet hotels =) But they are clean and cleaned regularly.

Read to the end. Breakfast terrible, not fresh tomatoes, disgusting juice, the cheapest juice-like "something", coffee also left a lot to be desired. Near the sea, but next to the undeveloped area, which spoils the view. Think I'm complaining, but how can a hotel have 5 *? Stiff and old bathrobes. No minibar. Service - waiters, not everyone knew English. Toilet seat: I think I bought the cheapest from the supermarket. Pillows hard, I could not sleep. Room for 3 people ... so much so that the 2-person bed was great, as the 3rd person did not have a bed, a sofa was poured, which was not suitable for sleeping. ATTENTION, the most important: At the reception men gentlemen talked a little about us in Greek (not knowing that my sister knows Greek). Only later in the conversation, how he found out that my sister lives in Cyprus changed the tone in the conversation between her. Rudeness for thick money. I do not recommend. Sometimes the number of stars is worse than in a hotel with 3 witnesses ...

The hotel is a bit dated, but the staff is friendly, the food good (just a lot of meat, lots of barbecue) The pool is nice. The sandy beach has an upstream wall, so you can safely swim here. The beach is natural, but clean. Our room was clean and convenient, everything worked. Air conditioning, etc. It was cleaned daily. Little and unobtrusive animation. Bus stop and supermarket in the immediate vicinity.

Thought the hotel itself is a bit outdated, it's kept in decent shape and the rooms are clean. Housekeeping are really working hard there.
The beds were big but the matress was horrible. Hurt my back for two weeks later.
The food is ok. Nothing fancy or to tasty. Just okay.
The pool is good, but the beach isn't .
Location is a bit far off center. Since I didn't get all inclusive it was a con for me.
They have a really good gym. It's a private gym inside the hotel very well equipped. The equipment is in good condition but very old.

The hotel is for 3 stars with a maximum of 4. Dia 5 ki is not in the rooms of the kettle and tea accessories. Restricted access to drinking water can only be poured in the restaurant from the machine in the morning. Adult animation in 2-3 days. No dryers for small things, at least for swimsuits and towels. Children's animation is only in English, only in the room ... there is not even a children's disco. Maids are mistaken with the number of towels regularly. After cleaning the rooms forget to close the balconies. In Paphos, there are 5 star hotels with the best service, the best menu and entertainment. The territory is very small. Not worth the money I paid

Not great, stayed here in the summer, out the front they have a rather intrusive tennis court, making the hotel look more like a prison with the high fencing around the court. The pool area was clean as was the lobby but the dining areas and rooms were dirty and dated

Large hotel, tasty food, spacious hall, unfortunately the rooms could be renewed. Good location (close to the Tombs of the Kings.) Near the local bus stop.
