Sky Venus Beach Hotel & Residence Review

Just back from a fantastic holiday. We had amazing views from our balcony. The room was kept very clean. Food was very good with plenty of choice. I would certainly recommend this hotel.

When I arrived I was a bit disappointed as this was allegedly a 5 star resort but the staff were brilliant and pool area was good however it all got spoilt on the last day of the stay because we skipped lunch and thought it would be ok to have an evening meal instead. There were 6 of us 4 adults and 2 children and the restaurant charged us an additional 106 euros for our evening meal and drinks. This was annoying as the day we arrived we got in at 11.00 pm and were served a buffet however 3 of the party were vegetarian and this had not been cascaded to the restaurant which was now closed. This was a joint celebration of a milestone birthday and anniversary but this left a very bad taste. I have even told 3 others who will be creating their review based upon my feedback when you have paid nearly 5000 gbp for all inclusive it should mean that

Spacious and clean rooms, nice pool with sea view. Beach is nearby with cristal clear water. Staff is very nice and attentive. Nice tennis court, tasty breakfast. Great place to chill close to Paphos city Center

Excellent hotel for family with kids. Large swimming pool, clean and large rooms. Nice pool bar. Close to amenities and next to the Tomp of the Kings in Pafos.

We were satisfied with everything. Nice personel. Great location. Class room.

Purely nice and tidy, it's a pity that the beach is what it is ...

This is NOT a 5 star hotel! The hotel is being advertised as a 5 star Hotel but actually it's an equipped 3 star hotel.
We were there on an all inclusive stay, however we had to pay for nearly everything we wanted: cold coffee, tea in our room, drinks and more.
Food was just about average, few dishes were really good while the rest of the menu was pretty much basic. Same goes for breakfast: basic and dull.
The location is OK, a big supermarket just outside of it but the town is some 20 mins away by foot.
After checking online for reviews before booking, we came across some highly reviews of the place, as far as I'm concerned, the highly reviews all go to the staff members who were so nice and always polite.
I can understand why families can enjoy the place as there is much to do for families with children, however I personally expected more from a so called 5 star, all inclusive hotel.
