Nice place. Crowd is nice and not uptight at all. You don't need to dress up to go there: your converse will make the trick. 4-5 rooms with different music in each one of them (nice concept). Place is huggee, music is okay. A bit "ratchet" though. Not expensive.

Went to this bar on our first day in Montreal and the young lady behind the bar was very nice if this review was about her it would be a 5 star. However we went back the next day and 3 guys working behind the bar completely ignored us for over 10 minutes and we got up and walked out.
Excellent best club I visited so far. Great music great stuff. But the crowd are mean and have no respect 0 education pushing people all time disrespectful no letting others to enjoy the night like this kind of idiots are absolute and don't know the word "excuse me". I will come back but be aware next time you f******ing push me again I don't care who you are you will be hit by me. If you don't know what is manners and be educated I WILL TEACH YOU
The place is big and the music is good, the glasses are not too expensive against it is difficult to be served at the bar especially as a girl, for the pretty boys is another story lol
We force you to put your bag in the cloakroom (random mode, ie not everyone ...) while you just want to land on the terrace. You have to go through the nightclub or the sound is strong arch then back on your steps to finally go up to the terrace. Loss of time and money.
Great place and friendly staff but the bouncer on the second floor is both too aggressive and lacks civility for this reason, I won't return anytime soon and I recommend skipping this place.
This USED to be a gay bar and is NOT anymore. It is a STRAIT bar now with the rudest bouncers and aggressive strait clientele where you risk getting punched for bumping into someone on the dance floor. Staff are obviously being told to keep the gays out. Sad because this bar is what it is today because of the gays.
Horrible, rude service. Very trashy place, please avoid. I came, checked in my coat and then was told by a bouncer to leave my small backpack with my coat. When I asked the coat check clerk to check in my backpack, they refused. Asked me to pay again and they were very rude and insulting. Horrible treatment. I ended spending my money somewhere else. Never again.
Very nice atmosphere in the heart of the village. There were three of us. We took a plate of natchos to nibble on at a really cheap price. My friends had beers and they enjoyed it. I tested the sangria: perfect. The service was quick and friendly. Placed on the terrace: very good. Inside, it looked super festive. I will surely come back
An Iconic place just what more to say everything you want is there. Roof top terrasse, perfect views of what ever. Great place to sit back and have a few drinks in the day and at night a club to dance till you can't dance anymore or the kick you out at closing time . Recommend to see for everyone wanting to see Montreals natural Gems what ever you do in your bedroom or sexually is your business. LOL just see for yourself don't take my word for it seeing is believing!
Watch out for the cloakroom !! Thieves, thieves !! and the lady who is in charge of the cloakroom is very rude! They stole my scarf Rudsak in the face !!! I RECOMMEND this bad place to all !!
Bar wait was extremely long, seems as though it's very short staffed. Not to mention, all the drinks I ordered were completely watered down. Girlfriend and I were sitting, drinking and a gentlemen came up to us and expressed his antigay beliefs to us? Which was shocking since we were in a gay club, during pride weekend? He was alone and kept asking us personal questions and had a short temper. Told us he was from Syria and just moved to gay village 20 days ago. Why gay village? Why at a gay club alone if you are so against gays? So immediately after that we tried to take off, due to being extremely uncomfortable. Could not even get out the door, mind you we were on the third floor. Took us 10 minutes To push our way through crowds of people trying to get in and out of one small tiny door. When I finally got out the door and got to coat check. I asked the girl behind the counter "What if this was an emergency and everyone had to get out?" She replied with a shrug, a head shake and a giggle. That is assuring... So anyway.... we booked it out the door. Would never go back, and for safety reasons I reccommend you check out any other club before stepping foot in this one.
We arrived this evening in the hope of having a drink on the beautiful advertised terrace and possibly a bite to eat. When we arrive, the waiter tells us that the terrace is closed. First disappointment.
We therefore consult the map and are tempted by several choices. When the waiter arrives, we choose our beers and dishes. This one then tells us that these dishes are not available and tells us the 4 dishes on the menu that remain available. Second disappointment.
About me, The burger chosen was good, The reasonable quantities (it is not the same for my boyfriend). We had barely finished our dishes when the waiter came to pick up the plates. There was still half the glass of beer left when he came to bring us the bill. Was he in a hurry for us to leave? Yet the bar was not crowded ... third disappointment.
3 disappointments, 3 stars less. As easy as that. This leaves us with a bitter taste, especially since it was frankly promising ...
First time in Montreal. I asked around where to go for nightlife. I was told Sky. I come and security checks me. I proceed upstairs and before entering I'm told I have to check in my coat. Never have I ever been told I HAVE TO check in my coat? Of course there's a fee. Then I'm told I have to check in my scarf. I tell them I rather keep it on. Then I'm told ok if you're asked to check it in there'll be another coat fee. IT'S A SCARF! It was ridiculous.
A box without much interest if not its number of rooms. Rooms full of security personnel who hunt for jackets before they hunt for plotters. A more than disrespectful attitude and comments. The bar does not take the card. obligation to queue in a seedy corner to reach the only ATM on the floor.
The cloakroom is compulsory, all "coat". For one, a coat is all that has no zipper. You can have a jacket without a zipper and keep it. But the zipper is unacceptable and aggressive for them. They want your $$.
Always beautiful evenings at Sky. Alcohol is not expensive: $ 3 a glass. The terrace on the rooftop is superb. By cons the spa and the pool is a bit creepy.
We arrived before and left before the site was really busy, we do not understand the service so slow and poor billing management, just a lack of staff training that night, perhaps? On-site activities are fun
Complexe Sky is the quintessential gay club. The new cowboy bar addition is great, (other than the fact I didn't get my change hence I forgot it!). Sky has three different levels which are all very different from the one before it and each fun in it's own way. It's certainly a place to go with your friends. In the day they have amazing food. The patio is great and cute.
A great and convenient place to go for a drink with friends, then head up to the club to dance and have an amazing night. But on one occasion, I was made to feel unwelcome one Sunday night with less than 10 people, when a certain bartender skipped me (I was waied for 10 mins to get served!) and went to another group of people who had just walked in. That was just nice. Thankfully, this one bad experience won t kill my feelings towards sky. It s a great place with (usually) amazing service on all levels.
Very amusing and great for prices. Seems to pick up a tad late. Music taste seems very "top 40 hits" . Atmosphere was great a lot of diversity. Bar seemed a little small.
Visit the 11/08/2018 around 20:30 - We were 4 people and ordered a pitcher of Sangria server that we had to stop after waiting for several minutes. "You want basic or premium sangria," he asks. "What's the difference?", He is asked ... "The basic is red wine, orange juice, 7up and the premium, we add some alcohols, like brandy and triple sec". "Sorry??" asked him. It was the first time we heard this type of formula. I do not know where these sangria recipes come from, but a sangria is neither basic nor premium. For me it's a scam, so we should have talked about wine beverage and fruit juice as a "basic" element. As we wanted a real sangria, we ordered a pitcher of "premium", because according to the indications of the server, it was like the real sangria. Surprise!! We received 2 pitchers of sangria (not to our advantage) ... It seems that the pitchers that were served to us are actually "half pitchers" to formulate "one". The two "half pitchers" were full of ice cubes, a pink color, as if we had forgotten that the sangria is composed of wine (red in this case). No wine or any other alcoholic beverage was tasted (only sugar from fruit juice and 7up / soda). At $ 37.89, the premium is very expensive sparkling fruit juice. Once again, this institution, once reliable and respected, in good years (1993 to 1999), is good for its customers who do not dare to complain about the quality of the products. My advice to customers: Do not be fooled by this institution ... If you order a pitcher of sangria, ask for half less ice than usual and make sure your sangria looks like the true sangria blood red containing truly red wine and not grenadine to accentuate the color. If you are told that this is how sangria is served, do not pay the "premium" pitcher's scam at $ 37.89. Visit a place where it is still possible to be respected in the village. Nobody deserves such a scam.
Club Bar of the village of Montreal. Free admission. Different floors according to the desire of the moment, relaxation on the roof terrace or clubbing on the 3rd floor. A cloakroom is available. Good atmosphere for unforgettable evenings.
Came here both for food and the nightclub. Food was pretty good and offered "bar snack" options which was exactly what I was looking for. The multi-level nightclub had very reasonably priced drinks. Worth a visit if you're looking for a typical nightclub to go out.
I love it here at night, but it almost offers too much space and it's easy to lose your friends here haha. Other than that it feels like a happy environment and a good place to dance around and get some drinks.
Classic gay club (been there forever). No cover, 3 floors, pub, hip hop room, top 40, house room. It's great. But it gets packed so to avoid the lineup, get there before 12!!
Free cover and low prices on drinks make it a very affordable place to go for a fun night out. The three different rooms also give you a good variety of genres to choose from. One of my go-to places for sure
