Took an expat BTL remortgage when I moved to work overseas for a few years. My work unexpectedly brought me back to the UK (so i was no longer an expat). Skipton International were completely inflexible wrt discussing terms - I wasn't even allowed to add my wife's name to the mortgage (for tax purposes)!!
