Amazing attention to detail. Our climate can be tough and Blooms work always rises to the top

I purchased my new home in late 2019. The builder did not landscape my backyard. I started looking for landscaping companies in the spring of 2020. I called several landscaping companies. I received three estimates. I knew from the first day that I talked to Cindy McCord, the Owner of Bloom Floralscapes, that I was going to go with her company. The service that I received from the moment I met Cindy to the completion of my backyard was incredible. The idea that she came up with for my backyard was more than I could have imagined. My backyard is like one that you see in a magazine. Everyone that I worked with at Bloom Floralscapes was punctual, professional and knowledgeable. I have received many compliments from family, friends and neighbors about the appearance of my backyard. I would highly recommend using Bloom Floralscapes if you are looking for any landscaping needs.

Stay as far as you can from this company and from Cindy, the owner. Zero Transparency, zero principles, and zero integrity. After an installation process where things went wrong every step of the way, I discovered that Bloom charged me for 1000 square feet of sod when they only even ordered 592, and then installed closer to 400. In light of this, and in light of the fact that I was given an estimate that was $828 over what it should have been earlier in the design process, I told them I would have to see a line-by-line invoice to make sure everything else was charged appropriately. I was assured by the owner Cindy and her operations manager Emilie that I would receive this line-by-line invoice, though Emilie told me they don't like to do line-by-line invoices because then "customers can pick and choose what they want." Huh? Isn't that how the process *should* go? I followed up with them 3 times over the course of 2 weeks to get the promised information, and in my last communication, after still hearing nothing, I told Cindy if I didn't get the information she promised to provide that I would be forced to file a claim with the BBB. Then things went totally off the rails. She said because of my "threats," she was turning my file over to her attorney. I said I wasn't threatening her, I simply felt I had no other way to proceed as a consumer when she was refusing to provide information she had promised multiple times. Her attorney then started outright bullying me via email saying he was going to file a lien against my house if I didn't pay up, and I explained to him there were no grounds to file a lien as I never refused to pay, I was simply waiting for the promised line-by-line information from Bloom. Furthermore, Bloom had never provided a final walkthrough, which *as specified in their own contract*, is when payment is due. The attorney continued to disregard this information and told me it didn't matter if I was overcharged, it was a "lump sum" contract. Wow. I was in such disbelief, that I went to Bloom the following Monday with my checkbook to try to sit down with the operations manager, Emilie, and pay the true balance due. Emilie wasn't there, but the rep at the office called her and I explained I was there to resolve the situation and pay so we could all be done with this. Emilie said the accountant wasn't in that day but she would give her a call and would call me back. The office rep asked if I'd like some tea, said "It sounds like this has been really frustrating," and offered me a seat so I could wait for Emilie's call. 20 minutes later there was a knock on the door, and I could hear someone say "We hear there's a disturbance here?" IT WAS THE POLICE. Yes, you read that right -- Instead of having her accountant sit down with me or sitting down with me herself and providing the information she had promised, the owner Cindy had called the police, lied, said I was causing a disturbance which was absolutely untrue, and had me escorted off the premises. And this, again, was when I was *trying* to pay the true balance due! It was totally unbelievable. I went immediately to the BBB to file a claim, which 2 weeks later Bloom has yet to respond to, meanwhile their attorney continues to bully me via email and has now moved ahead with filing a lien against my home. Cindy is now saying I refused the walkthrough to apparently create grounds for the lien, which is another out-and-out lie. Never in my life would I imagine the owner of a company would behave in such a way. The amount of stress this has brought and sleep I have lost, I can't even say. And all this because Bloom refuses to honor their word and provide the promised information, when I have said every step of the way I am more than happy to pay for what was actually installed. Who *wouldn't* want to see detailed numbers from a company after discovering they had been overcharged? Again, stay as far as you can from Bloom Floralscapes and Cindy, and if anyone you know is considering working with them, tell them to beware.

Cindy and company did a fantastic job on our landscaping. The staff was extremely professional and provided renderings of the proposed project. The results were exactly what was discussed. We interviewed several other companies and Bloom Floralscapes was our number 1 pick. Cindy and the project manager, Karen were very patient and helpful when walking us through all of the options for our project. I felt like Cindy and team were very honest as they listened to what we wanted and did not try sell us something we didn t need. The pricing was very transparent and fair. We would highly recommend Bloom Floralscapes for your landscaping needs.

I am over the moon with the landscaping Bloom Floralscapes did for me. I d stressed about my backyard for years before I found Bloom on my neighborhood website s recommendations. I got in touch with the owner and, within a few days, met with a designer/planner who asked a lot of questions, listened to me, took extensive notes, and delivered a complete design with a map, plant names, placement rationale, itemized costs. He gave me time to research the plants before I signed the contract. All of this done in person! A big crew came to my house and spent several days removing existing overgrowth and preparing the soil. The planting, mulching, and rock placement was done practically before I knew it. During the first winter, Bloom stayed in touch with me, providing advice for caring for the new plants. A designer/planner came in the spring for a thorough examination, great ideas, and good recommendations about replacing a few plants that hadn t thrived. I asked her to add a few plants and she accommodated me the next day. I was surprised and very pleased!

What I appreciate most about Bloom Floralscapes - besides how much I like the results - is the staff s attention to detail; experienced project management; practical solutions; and ability to stay within budget. I m grateful for Bloom Floralscapes commitment to me. I highly recommend this local company for residential landscaping services. I look forward to our continued business relationship. I can t say that about many companies!

I contracted with Bloom years ago to handle my front yard landscaping project. Cindy met with me multiple times, got to know what I wanted and then provided MORE than I could have asked or imagined. Her color choices, design elements and overall attention to detail are superb. Cindy personally visited the site multiple times and made sure I was satisfied. To this day I get compliments on my yard. Cindy was both professional and personable, and I have referred her to family and friends alike.

My late husband and I have used Bloom Floralscapes after we saw a Truck at a Shopping Center where we admired the floral designs at the Center. The choice of colors and different plants was what caught our attention.
We had three fourth of an acre to landscape and we wanted to use
many colors and different kinds of flowers. Bloom Floralscapes and Cindy were always easy to work with as well as design the irrigation for all these projects.
The projects were always bid with a total, and never had a line by line, simply because the plant material might have to be substituted, or I
may have decided I wanted more of a certain kind of flower, or we
might not need as much mulch, but I never had to worry that it was
going to be overcharged! I think Cindy is one of the most honest
business persons I have worked with.
You can imagine with this space, we had continuous projects, and
one of them was the planting of 2,500 tulips. It was beautiful in
the Spring!
We had Sunny place and Shady places, and Cindy always knew
just what would grow in what area, I was always amazed at her
knowledge.
After my husband passed away, and I moved to a smaller home, Bloom continues to maintain my flower beds, and the Custom Containers that are outstanding for my Decks. I highly recommend them to my neighbors. I think they are a 5 Star company both for Design and Service

Cindy and her team are top notch! You cannot go wrong with their services. I have worked with them as a commercial contractor for a multi-million dollar portfolio for over 12 years and they are my go to team year over year. (Please keep in mind that I bid all of my contracts every year to ensure I am delivering the best service at the best price to my tenants and they are always competitive!) Bloom has won awards at my properties for the stunningly beautiful color programs Cindy and her team designs and maintains. Bloom as also worked on a very large rehab project exceeding $250,000 dollars for one of my sites and Emilie s level of communication to tenants and guests far exceeded expectations and the outcome of the project was exactly what we imagined! Retailers are not always open to their front doors being disturbed during business hours and I never received a single complaint in the 2 months the project took place .That speaks for itself!!!!! Emilie s attention to detail and micro managing personality is a huge reason for the success of this rehab project. Bloom Floralscapes is a boutique business that gives any national company a run for its money! The owner herself is available at any time to speak with you or walk your project, however; her staff ensures you never need her involvement.
