Great place for ice cream, a must visit on LBI but VERY busy! Be prepared to wait-but know that it is worth the wait!

Amazing flavors and choices. Good portion sizes. Even the kiddie cone is big! Lines are long but staff keeps it moving. A must if you are on LBI.

Never go hear. You can t order at the place you have to order online and when you do you can only get dog tubs and no individual stuff. Also no wear to sit and just overall bad!

Skipper dipper is for ice cream what the Chicken or the Egg is for wings: the bomb. A little pricey, and some looooooong lines in the evening, but huge, tasty cones.

Best ice cream on LBI and the best thing is that is open late. My wife and I were in need of some ice cream late night and this spot was open. Good stuff, long line but worth the wait.

The Cold brew Coffe with Soft Vinalla was on point. Kids were blown away with the variety of flavors and they even handed out WetWipes& Ice cream cone tatto's for our little ones after we were done. We were very happy with our first experiance here!

The flavors of soft serve are exquisite and other than long lines on nice summer evenings, this place is as close to perfect as one can get on LBI.

Delicious ice cream. Very friendly staff. Even when the line is around the corner they do all they can to keep you moving. Highly recommend going here.

The ice cream flavors are just OK... I ordered Deertracks (coffee ice cream with chocolate covered toffee pieces and fudge swirl) and it was all right. It could have been chunkier with more toffee bits. The other flavors also seemed average. Nothing special about this place. Honestly, at the prices that Skipper Dipper charges, go to Ben and Jerry's to get better ice cream. I wouldn't come back to Skipper Dipper. Skipper Dipper gets a high rating not for their flavor selection but for how they are operating under the circumstances brought on by current pandemic. They are VERY safe and cautious, which I really appreciate. The are not offering single servings of ice cream. Customers have to order pre-packaged pints or ice cream cakes online and then call to confirm your order. You have to wait in your car for a staff member to bring your order to a table outside of your vehicle. No contact. It all felt very clean and secure.

hands down BEST icecream in LBI!! the way this shop is ran is BRILLIANT! best set up for safe and sufficient curbside pickup in 2020 out of every business in LBI!! hank you skipper dipper for years and years of happy memories for my family! cant wait to be back in 2021! :)

This was always a favorite ice cream spot. This year it's even better! They now have the Dole pineapple whip - it's amazing! Super great staff and awesome spot for families. They have great tables outside and a hose to rise off the Littles when they are covered in melty goodness.

Solid! The best Ice cream and the best owners. We come here year in and year out. This is simply the best with flavor options, with topping options and so on. It's an LBI institution and should be.

Been going here since I was a little kid. They only get better every season. More flavors than anyone else on the island and they offer most of their flavors in both soft and hard form. They take card and have no minimum which is a rarity on the island. Clean place with friendly staff and excellent ice cream.

Fabulous selection of ice cream both regular and soft serve. I've never seen so many flavors and soft serve or so many styles. They have tons of toppings and all kinds of things you can add to your ice cream to make it even more yummy. they also have a good selection of cones but I learned the hard way not to put soft serve in a waffle cone as it leaks out through the sides! It's an ice cream shop you don't want to miss?

Avoid Avoid Avoid !!! The soft serve ice cream was served in very messy way. The messy way it was served caused my kids to spill it in the car and cause a huge mess.

I didn't realize they were doing online orders only. I was already in the parking lot so I called the store on my cell phone. Was really looking for a special topping. My friend and I would always get it when we were teenagers on LBI. (years ago) He brought out what I thought I wanted. But it wasn't it. I explained to him what I was actually looking for and he knew exactly what I meant! He came back with the right topping. My best friend and I reminisced while eating our ice cream and peanut brittle crunch topping.

They have great ice cream and although the line gets long, the service is fast (they will even come out and take your order to expedite).

Loved it! The staff was friendly, upbeat and ready to create whatever your heart desires. There were hard, soft serve, vegan and dairy free options. He had 3 scoops of chocolate in a freshly made waffle cone (enormous and delicious!) While I swooned over a cup of gingerbread soft serve with marshmellow and crushed cookie topping. Dozens of ice cream flavors, tons of toppings. Outside seating, with it's own parking lot

Best ice cream on LBI. Hand-dipped, soft serve and sugar free. The waffle bowl is the best and comes in a Styrofoam cup, so it minimizes the mess.

Excellent ice cream! The servings are huge and delicious (the picture is of a 2 scoop). The waflle cone was soo good and is my favorite. The line was long but semi efficient, it moved smooth. The only complaint I had was the employees were taking orders before we got to the menu and acted irritated when we didnt know what flavors they had. Once we got the ice cream it was awesome. Will be back again.

The ice cream there is phenomenal!! Possibly the best on LBI! I had the chocolate chip cookie dough ice cream and it was great! My girlfriend got cookie dough and vanilla chocolate chip and it was just as amazing! Staff was friendly and I ll definitely be going back there soon!

We were kind of disappointed. I Tried the soft serve and was not given a full portion in the cup, the girl only filled the size I bought half way and the ice cream was melted like soup. Not sure if it had something to do with them changing something on the machine but she really shouldn't have given it to me like that. Also, I paid for whipped cream and was given a tiny dab. The place has friendly people and a nice atmosphere but the quality and the portions caused me to rate it just "okay." The ice cream is definitely better than the soft serve according to my friend. We actually left and went to another ice cream place afterwards to get a more satisfying dessert experience. I hope they work on these issues. Thanks
