All in All a great experience as a student there.The Docklands campus is amazing and really close to city airport which is convenient.There is access to the campus directly by DLR .

Thank you to the Department of Psychology and the peolpe who run the Msc for Coaching. I has been a tough and enjoyable journey to do the postgraduate programme with you. All I can say is I learned a lot.
I highly recommend the university.

Only giving one star as I cant give zero. Every single department we encountered was awful. The Chair of Governors and Vice Chancellor dont care. If you choose this uni after reading these honest reviews then you probably deserve the second class treatment you will receive.

i graduated uel in 2015 with a degree that is still not equivalent in my country. joining uel as international student was my biggest mistake. i will never suggest any one especially to the Nepalese student to join uel. i also contacted uel several times to help me out with this issue but they took forever to reply back. it was my waste of 30000 pound and 3 years of my life time.

Very cool modern campus on the riverside at Docklands

Rude staff specifically the clearing team; huffing and puffing on the phone and even lying about someone called Ms. Ademola ( probably it was her on the phone) not working there when the name was clearly there in the emails sent by the team. Ridiculous!

Toilets could be at a higher standard, aside from that location is pretty cool, not quite sure how being next to a runway bodes for lecturers.

It is a great university, providing such a range of specialties and of course the quality of the studies is exeptional.

I was a student of UEL for three years. Most of the lecturers who taught me were great, but the staff were and are the most incompetent bunch of people I have ever had the misfortune to deal with. The residential department are a joke who just avoid any complaints or problems you have, but when they require something from students you've never seen anybody move quicker. Nobody at the HUB (the main department for services to students) appears to be on the same page as anyone else. I have been trying for the past two weeks to get a straight answer on how to get my middle name included on my degree and transcript so I can process a visa application. I have received a different answer every time. I was then given the e-mail address of a supervisor who I still have not received any reply from. This is not helpful when you are in a hurry to resolve any issues you may have. All in all, the services for students at this university appear to create more problems than they resolve.

Very attentive and welcoming activities for Erasmus student. Staff is helpful too.

Stay away from Cass School the staff not supportive and WILL fail you.

Perfect location and good environment beautiful place to be a student.

Admissions team of this university are so rude, horrible and rubbish they misplace your documents and lie to you by telling that you never submitted the documents we requested. They do know not how to handle applicant information and this is very risky. Please, don't study in this university unless your too desperate!

I had an absolutely amazing experience at UEL. I completed my undergraduate degree in English Literature with Psychology, and I am now doing my postgraduate degree in Psychology.
I think it is a great place to study, you get tons of support and lots of opportunities to experience new things and develop yourself.
100% No regrets !

Applied for a job. Waited two weeks for a response. Forced to have a telephone interview while I was away in minneapolis at a conference, forced to wait a further two weeks and then myself and another guy were summarily dismissed two hours after starting.

This bunch simply do not know what they're doing. If that's how they treat their staff, then the students won't fare any better.

UEL has the most rude staff in the world, and they are to slow and absolutely useless.

Great university for those considering studying Psychology. Highly recommended.

The worst University to study architecture hence its also ranked the lowest in England for architecture. Do not study here since they will try to take a lot of money from you. Support from the tutors is also not great. Even though I had a medical reason, they wont give you the support, even management team is bad as the rest.

Local amenities are great. Transport is all nearby and teachers are cool too.

So far so good the best experience ever I will recommend it to anyone.if you organise yourself. Prepare and visit the website regularly and attend classes you won't have any problem. Pls don't listen to those negative review. Those student am sure are Lazy student. Come on this is Higher Education not primary school. You have to take full responsibility . You don't expect lecturer there to wipe your arse all the time. The Uni is wonderful they even give free I pads for new students. Wonderful view. Come and see yourself. Thanks Well done UEL

If you want to have very interesting courses you should go to the UK.

I will be studying abroad here at this University for theater. I am really excited for spring 2016.

Great facilities, not so quick access from Stratford campus.

I have studied in this university in 2009 / 2010 period ,doing the masters . This has been the most stressful and bad experience in my whole life . I am an international student from India . I did my Masters in Mobile and wireless communications in here. This course has been removed by the university because there are no more students left and no one wants to go to do master in UEL .
This university is not ideal to do Masters .

About 50% of the students in my course discontinued and the faculty did not even bother to ask a question of what was happening .
In UEL the management only care about the funds students bring not the knowledge they gain .
For a foreign student this is not a right university .

Applied and never got a reply!!!!!! Called several times and contacted them via e-mail and still nothing. Luckily applied to another university and got the place there.

My university, it offers everything... Art, Computing, Psychology, Sports etc..

Great university, recommended if you want to study Music Industry Management/Moving Image (Film).
Professional lecturers that have worked in the industry for years & equipment to hire out.
Silly attendance policy (too strict) but cool university with a large range of facilities available on the campus.

Big university, beautiful houses, neat, clean, near a river, but constantly taking off planes nearby distract

UEL will attempt to lure you with very enticing offers such as scholarships or promises of fulfilling your dreams. THIS IS NOT SO. I have been lied to, cheated and disregarded. The Psychology department is a JOKE, how dare UEL insist that its Psych dept. Is top of the school rankings, I was lied to about the accreditation of my degree, I was cheated out of promised time to complete my dissertation proposal, and virtually ALL of my instructors left during my time at UEL. BE WARNED, this school has shady practices and practically NO ethics whatsoever. Attend a university that will respect and value you as this one certainly won t.

Great transport to a terrible university.

Staff clueless to any questions, security useless as they watch thieves steal bikes on campus and lecturers losing work. Looks nice and modern though.

Yes I did attend this university and I strongly suggest you look elsewhere for your education unless your desperate, a qualification from this university is like handing a child's crayon picture of a duck to an employer.
