We love Mark he is the best me and my dad just came in to get me new ski boot and they are great I start skiing when I was 11 old and we found this place and we have not go anywhere else because Mark the owner is great and the staff and they are great on prices and they are understanding what they are doing and they make sure that you get the right ski and ski boots before you leave and they are great if you have ? Because they don t rush you like other place do and I m now 24 old thank you for being there for use

This place is awesome with kids yearly rentals at a reasonable price. My wife and I bought new skis here last year on small business Saturday and it was a delightful, informative no pressure approach.
Awesome place to shop. They make you feel like family and they clearly care what the customers experience is like. Been going there for years and have had nothing but a world class experience. I m not a great skier and they don t hesitate to help me find appropriate gear that s perfect for my level.
My favorite Ski shop! I've bought all my snow gear from here since 2012. They have a wide variety of options! and the best part of it all is the customer service, Both times I came in to make a major purchase I was quickly offered help. Nice shop!
Hands down the best local place to shop for skis and have them serviced. I've bought online products form different dealers and had them serviced here. I've also bought items from them direct and never have they treated me different. In the past month I've also bought two sets of skis just off of a conversation and the deal that was offered. Can't say enough positive things about this place.
We were so thankful that we could rent kid skis here! I didn't want to invest in the purchase with only my daughter's second season skiing through parks and rec. This was a great solution. We were also taken care of very quickly by the helpful, busy staff. Slightly pricy like all ski shops.
I usually don't write reviews but I mean this place is just that good, had everything I needed, the staff helped me down to the smallest details (ie choosing boots that fit and looked good on my green skis) and if they didn't fit right, they were more than happy to find another set that did, they helped me find the correct type of ski and boot; and put the binding and set the binding release for me, overall the best ski shop ever
I have been coming to the Ski Company for years because the staff is so knowledgeable, helpful, and kind. I don't shop anywhere else! Even when I lived out of state, I would make a special trip here when I came home to visit. You can't beat the service!
I would give Mark and The Ski Company 10 stars if possible! I am new to the sport of skiing, I originally trusted the folks at REI to fit me for new ski boots. The staff member at REI was very polite however, he failed to measure my foot; he only fitted me with one boot and guaranteed they were a perfect fit. My feet were killing me and they were going numb! I trusted him and purchased the boots because he convinced me that this painful feeling was normal.
THANKFULLY we found The Ski Company LTD the very next day!! Mark was patient, thorough and extremely knowledgeable. Mark properly measured both of my feet and assistants me with multiple styles/designs of boots to find the perfect fit. I didn t feel rushed at all, Mark clearly wants to make sure his customers are properly fitted and satisfied.
The experience was so wonderful, Mark helped be select the proper skis and other equipment I needed to be ready for the slopes. We even purchased a snowboard, bindings, and boots for our daughter! Mark expertly installed all of our bindings on the spot!! We are customers for life!! We have found a gem, The Ski Company is the ONLY Place to go if you want expert customer service from a knowledgeable and trustworthy business owner.
We also noticed Mark s shop is very clean, organized and has a nice layout. Other stores we have visited are cramped and difficult to maneuver. It is very important to enjoy your experience from the beginning, if you get frustrated you tend to make hasty decisions. Mark made sure we were educated and prepared, he never pushed us to spend more nor did he attempt to upsell any items. We won t shop anywhere else!!!

I called several (10+) ski shops trying to find the best ski boots I could given inventory was extremely low everywhere else I called. The Ski Company were able to fit me in for a boot fitting same day and had ski boots in stock! I worked with Mic(k?), the owner, and he was so knowledgeable and helped me find the perfect ski boot!
I was also in a bind (excuse the pun) and he let me rent and borrow a pair of skis to use on a day trip to Pine Knob. I can't recommend this place enough. The customer service and skill level to help you find the right equipment for a great price at The Ski Company is unmatched!! I will continue to drive 30 minutes and give them my business!
Best ski shop there is! My whole family goes there for any skiing supplies and general winter gear. If I have any questions about an item the friendly staff is more than happy to help. No need to go to the large outdoor stores for items, they have all you need.

I had several options given to me for fitting my new Nordica Speed Machine boots. Some required travel out East or up into Northern Michigan. Fortunately I just strapped on my boot bag and walked to The Ski Company, and when Mark was done, I had my boots fitting perfectly! He also caught a need for a slight cant that noone had ever noticed before.
I cannot say enough about Marks attention and concern for giving me the perfect boot fitting. I'm a PSIA ski instructor and so boot comfort and performance means alot. No doubt, Mark is one of the best boot fitters in this area, if not the state of Michigan.
I've purchased many pairs of skis and boots from the Ski Company. I have always been happy with the recommendations from Mark. He did a great job helping us keep up with our kids while they were growing up. The custom foot beds make skiing so much better and I would recommend those to anyone.

Mark is a down to earth, knowledgeable, and humble expert when it comes to all things skiing. I recently bought a new set of Enforcer 100 skis and Nordica boots and could not be more happy with my experience at the Ski Company and Mark's hospitality. Despite being busy on a Thursday, I was treated to the VIP experience as a customer and told all the intricacies as an intermediate skier of finding the right boot fit, skis for my skill level, and ski poles. Mark was more than accommodating, and provided a very reasonable price on a new pair of skis, boots, poles, and carrying bags. He also threw in a free tune up/wax after my purchase.

Highly Recommend. Purchased a set of Men s and a set of Women s skis today. And got boots integrated into them. The staff was extremely courteous and helpful. And whom I assume to be the owner was very very courteous and made us feel welcome. I would suggest coming here before going to any other ski retail shop in the area. As the home/family atmosphere here is the best benefit for your shopping experience. Beats the competitors prices all day too!
Overall we had great service. We took in some ski boots to have custom soles molded and had the boot shell bumped out. It took a while to getting all done as the store got real busy at that time, but well worth the wait. Staff was friendly and the store was clean.
Terrible service. Waited a week for them to sharpen snowboard edges and they did not even do it before our trip. Find another shop these people don t care about your business.

I have been going to the Ski Company for over 40 years! The staff there is the most knowledgeable in town, and more importantly you can TRUST their advice. Their prices are fair, and they are the only shop I have tune by skis and board.

Friendly service, not too bad in store inventory and good end of season prices. I only wish their online inventory more accurately showed what they have in store.
