Great place for families. Lots of kiddie rides and some fun rollercoasters. Parking was a bit of a challenge due to a car show. Walking that far with young kids was exhausting before we even got to Kentucky Kingdom. Tomorrow we hit the water park. GREAT deal for out-of-state visitors!

The staff is friendly and the park never feels crowded. Next time I will prob buy a season pass for one member of my family (prob the kid) primarily for the free parking as it pays for itself the 2nd day.

It's gone down hill and I've been going here since 1993 and it's nothing like it use to be! Day 5 Alive is gone starchaser is gone and all the other best rides are gone!

If you have high expectations then this is probably not for you. If you are looking for a amusement park on a budget then this may be your place. Be sure to add in $10 per day parking and locker fees of $11 to $16. Food prices are high but typical for this type of entertainment park. Restaurants immediately outside the park are limited so eat as you travel. Kids did enjoy the rides and water park. Fairly clean but changing areas need attention in the water park area. Also hand sanitizer stations would be a welcomed addition.

I bough 6 season passes an we only used them 2 times because I asked a teenager to watch the nasty talk an cursing in front of my niece an nephews an then the teens waited for us after our ride an acted like they were going to hit my little 8 year old nephew. So I told management an they said they would take care of it an not even a hour later someone stole my phone an money an all of our passes. They wanted us to pay $10 for each pass to be replaced.

It s great place to go in this pendamic, they follow all the rules . You will see mostly rides empty coz they use half of sheets in every ride. Sanitizers every corner . Some big 2-3 rides are either close or under construction. But still many rides to enjoy . It wasn t super for Saturday but still it was like 30 minutes wait for every ride . Took summer pass for 50 will be back next month . After that took 2 hours break to relax exit park & went to SHREEJI Indian restaurant ate some really tasty food it was close to our motel .

Been going to this place for 31 years... New management has made minimum height requirements that I do NOT feel are justifiable. Have a 3 year old that could not ride most of what she wanted. They HAVE however cleaned the park up very nicely and the water park was much larger and looked great!

You cannot beat the price for the Out of State deal. There is a height restriction because Kentucky Kingdom is right next door to the airport. This means that some of the rides are not as tall or as high as most parks. Also, the park is pretty spread out. Be prepared to walk!

I loved all the things here that I rode, did, drank, ate, and that's why I'd recommend that if you live close enough to the park, and it's not a 3 or 2 hour drive, then but the 60 dollar season pass, enough for many visits. The staff were nice on most of the visits, and the rides were the best things ever. My only problem is that it can get slightly boring is you ride the same rides, but that's just my experience. Amazing service, amazing times, and overall amazing park in general

I'd recommend the funnel cakes, something to drink with ice as it can get very hot, and my personal favorite rides were Cyclos and pretty much everything in Hurricane Bay.

This might be biased because I went with my family before the water rides were open. I felt overall that this theme park was average. None of the rides really stood out as a pride piece but there were plenty of rollercoasters and stuff to do. We went through the entire park in about two hours. To be fair, it wasn't very busy so the lines were non-existent.

For the price it is worth it, but I wouldn't make it the main point of your visit to this area.

The rides are less than thrilling and often hurt but that might just be me. The prices are fair, especially summer of 2016 if you live out of state. The entrance is confusing but the park is fairly small so walking around is easy. I like the variety, just wish there were more large rides.

My wife and I bought season passes this year and visited the park a few weeks ago. I was impressed by the clean enviroment, safety (plenty of law enforcement), reasonable prices, fun rides and family motivated park.
The way you handle loose articles on the rides is so simple, yet so smart. I actually feel safe leaving my articles in the bins while riding. We plan on taking our 2 year old daughter to the park many times this summer. I'm excited that Kentucky Kingdom will be her first experience at an amusement park, and that we have such a great park right in our own backyard.
Thanks for bringing KY Kingdom back!
ps... The Storm Chaser is most excellent!

If you are thinking about visiting Kentucky Kingdo...

If you are thinking about visiting Kentucky Kingdom, do it! It's a great amusement park. Very clean and well landscaped. The employees are very nice.
Although the park isn't huge it has a great coaster lineup (Lighting Run and Storm Chaser are amazing), fun thrill rides, plentiful children's/family rides and a great water park.
The new coaster put in this year, Kentucky Flyer is a real winner. It was my 4 year olds first big coaster and he loved it! The ride is very fun. My son has been begging me to go back.
My only complaint/suggestion is I wish there were more family attractions in the area around Storm Chaser and Eye of The Storm. As a family with a small child its hard to enjoy those attractions as things currently are laid out. Throw in a Scrambler and/or Tilt-a-Whirl over there and it would be great.
