Six Flags America Review

The aren't many long lines when you go on a week day and the attendants take their jobs very seriously. They have stepped their game up in terms of menu options for the kids meals and meal baskets. The rides in Gotham city are fun and an essential part of making it a great day at 6 Flags

The food prices are way too high. The staff is very slow and rude. The rides are always down. I only enjoy the holloween scares. What a shame.

We as a family love amusement park. We have been to alot of them . We drove to ocean city 8 hour from home and then to washington dc 5 hour from home and then to six flags. We were alittle disappointed in the size of the park thought it would be bigger although the park was slow so we enjoyed that part of it because kids got on the rides fast. Not enough shade it was 95 degrees so we was miserable there. But all and all once was good for me.

Friendly enough staff but the Halloween theme is pretty awful. I think we came across 5 characters total. And the decorations are pretty scarce. It's a good park, this review is only referring to the Hallowfest.

Loved it. Would love to try the superman and Joker rides again.

The rides are great, but it's not Disney. The staff all seem like they hate their jobs, don't smile, never talk to you, and are super inefficient. They need some training on customer service or, at the very least, how to keep the rides running smoothly and efficiently.

Terribly hot. No fans turned on in any ride's line.

Everyone there was super nice and helpful. It was our first time and we went opening weekend. The bathrooms were decent and mostly clean. We also got the Deluxe Dining pass. Which totally pays for itself after just one use. Although I didn't think the food was that great. Honestly if I had gone there and paid $50 for a family of four to eat, I would have been very disappointed. But because it was on our pass I can begin to learn what foods are worth it and what is not. I saw others got salads and I made a mental note to get that next time because it looked a thousand times better than my Bacon cheddar Ranch cheese fries, which kinda looked very generic. The food court could use to be cleaner and more prepared too. But all and all it was a good experience:)

The ticket is expensive, but it is worth it. Arriving early and going out at night you guarantee a whole day of fun. Remembering that 6FlagsAmerica also has a water park.

Love the rides. Had a blast with friends. Brought a nice cup. Was able to be a kid again. Recommend buying season pass.

Great time, even though it was a little rain and some rides were closed. There were no lines for the rides. We were able to get on back to back without waiting!!! Eventually rain cleared up all rides opened still no lines to wait in. That was a once in a lifetime thing for me!!!

What a fun place to go with the entire family.

Dirty, run-down, and all-around seedy. This is definitively lower rung on the 3rd tier amusement parks in the US.

It was nice but could've been nicer had the bathroom's yes multiple of them. Needs to be cleaned every half in hour. And the staff needs to have adults not children running all the major rollercoasters. And the wave pool was disgusting w leaves, bandaids, hair ..it was nasty and appalling. The health department and CDC officials would love this. Not good for the public.

We were there for 10 minutes then it rained and they told us the park was closed with no refund.... so disappointed.

A couple of rides weren't in operation and the place is looking rather run down at this point in time. Save your money and go to Hershey Park or Kings Dominion where you'll get more.

Had never been but a friend lives close so we got season passes and have loved going. Being as its an amusement park the food is expensive but the atmosphere is wonderful. Can't wait for next summer to try out hurricane harbor.

This is a nice park that has a wide variety of roller coasters, 10 in total at the time of this. Attendance is always very light, so you can ride everything in the park numerous times. Fast pass isn't necessary. Ride operators are friendly and willing to hold conversations with you. The food stand workers are a bit less friendly. My only complaint of this park is the food prices. Be prepared to pay an arm and a leg. Water bottles $6 or 2 for $10. A Philly cheesesteak is $20, gourmet cheeseburger $15.
Souvenir prices are more reasonable. T-shirts can be had for under $20. I personally bought a nice fleece-lined logo hooded sweatshirt for $30.
All in all, a great place to spend the day, just plan on eating before and after you visit.

As the mother of a 5 year old, I was so disappointed with the kiddie rides. I went to Six Flags America on May 4th. They did not have enough ride operators in either of the children's areas. This meant long wait times while waiting for an operator or being completely ignored by them. I was also rather surprised at the condition of the children's rides compared to other amusement parks. They were poorly maintained. It looks like they don't care at all about the appearance of their childrens rides with peeling, faded paint and just an overall dilapidated feel. I enjoyed the park, for the most part but it is clear that they take no pride in their childrens rides based on appearance and understaffing.

This place is amazing. Very clean and very well maintained. The staff are so courteous and helpful. They are very in tuned with the guests. Truly magical experience. Only "complaint" is that the park is small, you can get through it in half a day.

Great place to visit. Lots of fun rides. Recently went for their Halloween attractions and they did not disappoint. Well worth the wait to get into the haunted houses

Ok the good thing about this place is just the rides but the staff is very annoying and just horrible. When getting on rides the employees just completely ignore you and talking to each other about there terrible life. They completely ignore there rules of profanity while they curse and people on the ride curse too. They got mad at my friend because he unbuckled the seatbelt of the ride and said in an ignorant way why are you unbuckling the seatbelt with a nasty attitude and my friend said because I m sitting here in a nasty attitude back since she did too. Also a employee at the jokers jinx ride was being a nag saying don t crawl under the gates I don t want to fill out paper works today I mean for god sake how can someone get injured by that only thing I can see is someone bumping there head. I would recommend better staff very annoying and are mean also if you have the chance go to a different amusement park.

Went with son and grand kids. Had a blast. We were there from opening to closing. Food has a lot to be desired.

Great bargain. The rides are legit, and the season pass price is really low. Food is decent for theme park food. Water park is included.

Fun time on rides but bathrooms almost never have soap. Trash cans overflowing throughout park. Bandaids on grounds of pool areas not swept throughtout day.
2 times ordered fried chicken and was raw.
Other attendants noticeably not washing hands or using same gloves to clean floor and dip hands in food. Or eating right out of cooked food with fingers.
Staff is noticeably lazy, on phones, high on drugs, or just not friendly.
Undergoing some serious new management would be advisable.

It was a great day to have some fun with my family had a great time

Very rude and childish employees, even supervisors. The supervisor Tenia Carey walked away as I was asking questions about flash pass corporate number and wouldn't tell me her name. She rush into an enclosed area where only employees can walk. No one there ever talked to her because she works for flash pass and according to them they are two different companies. Very disappointing and do not recommend getting.

I love good service and through out the entire park all the staff was polite....and helpful. Actually two different employee's went out there way for me. Awwwweeesome guys!!!!

Sux Flags is fun but the security guards are disrespectful please improve it !

Very good amusement park ideal for spending a day with family or friends

We drive an hour to get here, and it's always worth it. Love the deal we get with the meal pass, and the Halloween theme is so fun. They have a hay ride, maze and trick or treat trail for the little ones, and haunted houses for older kids and adults.

When you stand in line for food it takes forever for them to give it to you

The place is decent but the place is starting to run down. We paid premium to get preferred parking but never said we had to reserve it in advance. The food throughout the park is okay. Overall, my kids enjoy so that's why I am there.

Seemed like no one working there wanted to work or be helpful...

Ride seats are small if you a are bigger than a child

Used to come here every summer. The only bad part was there was always a ride I d really wanna go on and it would be out of service. Usually the newest roller coaster that looked the most dangerous. As a kid I could only ride the wooden rollercoaster or the Batman one that would give me a headache bc my head would bounce between the pads next to my head. Haven t been here in over 10 years but would love to go back and see it now.

Lines move faster than I thought they would. I went there fourth of July and they were nice enough to let the others and I have one last ride while the fireworks went off. The superman is the best.
