A dairy that needs no introduction. The best cheeses in Dalmatia and Croatia. The best are the three types of Strip cheese (matured for more than 1.5 years), which are then soaked for 6 months in either olive oil or wine or Marasca (local cherry distillate). For me, the best Kolan Cheese - 100% cow matured for over 18 months.

If you are on the island of Pag, be sure to stop here from everywhere nearby.
They do inspections of the operation from milk to the finished cheese. Combined with tasting.
At a minimum, it is necessary to visit their factory store. Ustret's salesman will also sell you what you didn't want the floods ...

Very welcoming staff. Excellent stopover on a hot hot day with no shelter in Pag. Their passion for cheese really shows. Tour of cheese factory was informative and highly enjoyable, worth the small fee, especially seeing the cheese cellar 6m below ground. Liked the stories our host shared. We then spent the afternoon with a cheese tasting plate which cemented our love of the cheese.

Very nice place for cheese and wine tasting. To taste a little cheese I recommend a large board and two three glasses of different types of wine - as for the store a large selection of wine and cheese but a little more expensive than in a normal store where we will find the same;)

I recommend a visit to the village of Kolan, including cheese production. Large selection of different species. Possibility of production inspection. Definitely not to be missed when visiting the island of Pag.

Great cheese factory tour and tasty :) cheese tasting

We enjoyed the 30min tour through the cheese factory Glidora followed by the tasting various local cheese products.
Very informative and delicious :).

Just one drawback - it looks a bit overpriced, for instance the size of the cheese tasting plate is a joke for its price (85 kuna) - just 6 small slices.

In general it is recommended for adults and kids visiting Pag.

A very large selection of cheeses, not necessarily cheap, but locally made. The shop is nicely decorated and friendly service. Specific taste of the cheese, you have to try it and decide if it is worth paying

I recommend that if you are on the island of Pag, go to the town of Kolan and visit the cheese factory. We were guided by the owner's daughter-in-law who speaks fluent English and German. The factory will remember especially the moment of putting on the protective suit ). After a short trip, for 38 HRK per adult and 15 HRK per child, you can buy cheese and wine in the tasting room and juices for children to try. We ordered a CD for two people for 150 HRK. The cheeses are made in the traditional way. Next to the factory there is also a shop where you can buy regional products, not only cheeses, such as jams, salt, hams, salsa, etc. The prices are something you have to pay for. I think that people with disabilities would have a problem with sightseeing, but the restaurant has an elevator, so they can try it out.

We went there and did not book a tour since we didn't plan properly. The two employees at the front desk still chopped up some cheese for us and went over and above answering our questions. If you like cheese go here!

Cheese lovers paradise! Various types of cheese from local cheese factory (40+ types and flavors). You can taste before you buy.
Plus there is something extra to complement: wine, olive oil, sweets, souvenirs...
Staff very friendly, will explain the origin, type and ingredients in detail. Very interesting stuff.
Cash (kuna or EUR accepted) and credit card accepted.
Prices... Well, you get high quality goods so don't expect it to come cheap.
Overall: recommended for travelers, visitors and general cheese lovers!

It is worth seeing how the cheese is made, it is worth tasting and buying it.
They serve them with a good, for an undiscovered palate, wine (or maybe an expert would be delighted - but I am not one of them )

A very nice experience of visiting the cheese factory very interesting and instructive cheese tasting great to recommend but simply for any wine I expect a glass of wine and especially if I pay 41kn for 1dl. That is not forgiven. wine glass.

A well-equipped shop with all types of cheese that are made on the Pag. A pleasant smell strikes us from the very entrance. The service is very polite, will advise you about what to expect from a given product. Prices are not low especially for Striped cheese, but at least we know it is original.

Great cheeses. But pepper prices that are realistically inflated for the product. The ambiance is beautifully decorated. And the cashier pays more attention to foreigners than to local people .
