First visit and Jay/Javion (?) was so informative and helpful. He offered great samples, educated us about teas and otherwise was very professional. He created a great experience.

If you like tea, or just want to try something new Sipping Streams is the place to go. If you're not sure what to get the staff are happy to make recommendations. Always a good time!

Great way to spend an evening at -30F. Enjoyed the delicious steamed and baked buns and hot tea! Great atmosphere, glad we have a tea shop in Fairbanks.

I really enjoyed the 5 day tea course by Sipping Streams tea. Jenny shared a lot of wisdom she had learned on her tea journey. Some of the topics covered were tea brewing and storage, the origin, the benefits of teas, blending etc. I've taken other courses before but she is the most unique and applicable so far.

I was first introduced to Sipping Streams by a group of friends who wanted to have a tea party. I thought it was a silly but cute idea and went along for the ride. We showed up to fancy tables set with perfect tea cups, tea pots, and platters of cute tea sandwiches and scones and DELICIOUS fruit. There was sugar and cream for the tea & jams and whipped cream for the goodies. We were so impressed and the experience was beyond what I had expected. I have been coming back ever since. Their tea is a little pricey, but it is such great quality. Plus, the jasmine green tea pearls I purchased from here can be used up to three times. So I made a cup, drink it up, and then add more hot water - the taste is just as great and strong as the first batch.
I have also had their Silky Sweet Matcha Green Tea - and YUM. I actually came back and bought the sweet matcha green tea powder I loved it so much.
There are pastries, salads, soups, sandwiches, and all sorts of tea accessories. Every employee I've seen has been so helpful and kind. I will keep coming back again and again. Thank you Sipping Streams.

This place is tea heaven! They have tea samples and are extensively knowledgeable about tea. The guy working there, who's name I forgot, was so helpful and it was fun to watch him having fun and really enjoying work.

The tea is so fresh and tasty! They even have gluten free snack options. If you like Asian rice cakes I definitely recommend that gooey treat. I didn't have a meal there but they have authentic Asian dishes and I am looking forward to going back soon!

What a lovely jewel of a shop right here under my nose this whole time. My first experience and it was amazing! Jenny really knows her tea and has created a warm and inviting environment to browse/explore and even learn about the origins and nutritional values of the tea you enjoy - and discover new blends that you had no idea even existed. I spent alot more than I expected, but that was due to the wonderful selection, not because the prices were too high. I am already anticipating a return shopping trip with my granddaughter! What a wonderful experience for just her and I, we love tea :)

Much better flavor and more affordable in the long run than tea bags. I love all the tea accessories in the store, and have purchased many for myself and for gifting.

We had a great experience today in Sipping Streams when we met the owner who shared her stories! If you like tea this is a MUST go place in Fairbanks. If you are not a tea person, try their hot chocolate. You will want more.

I Have dealt with Jenny in person on more than one occasion and even when she is at her busiest she makes you feel like an appreciated and special customer I appreciate all she does to help educate about tea and is always willing to answer a question. The teas taste amazing and are great quality!

Sipping Streams has such a great variety of teas!! The tea sets are adorable and I will definitely be back to try the food, it looked delicious! The highlight of my first visit was the salesperson Joshua! He was so kind and helpful without being overbearing. Even had some funny tea puns and was so knowledgeable and passionate about the teas. He definitely deserves a raise so he will always work there!!

Arrived here at 11 oclock Saturday and they are closed. No notice of them being closed for any reason. Very disappointed.

Staff is super friendly and helpful! They are actually glad you are in their store! They will help you find the perfect tea for yourself or as a gift. And there is so much more there like beautiful bowls and tea sets. Highly recommend them!

Boba wasn t that good, it was to sweet and soggy. Drink was watered down. The Thai tea was did not have flavor at all.

This place is a gem! I can't believe that you have to come up to the top of the world to find such great tea. Jenny owns Sipping Streams and she is so knowledgeable. The last time I was in, she performed a traditional matcha tea ceremony for me and explained the history/customs of the practice. I am someone who loves to learn new things, so I enjoy stepping into the tea shop. She often offers classes where you can learn things like how to make chaga tea or kombucha. I mean it's fabulous! My all time favorite is her masala chai (they have it brewed every day, it's so popular). Otherwise, I love the creamy milky matcha drink she has. SO GOOD! Did I mention almost all of her teas are award winning? She created the blends herself. Such a treasure here in Fairbanks!

The Gold Standard for high quality tea also makes excellent food cooked from scratch. Excellent flavors and very friendly staff make this an extremely enjoyable dining experience. Finish your meal with some divine dessert and another cup of exceptional tea.

Jenny is so helpful and passionate about her store and tea! She loves to educate people about the beauty and benefits of tea. Her customer service is above and beyond. I wanted an insulated tumbler that was sold out, and when I emailed her to ask if it would be restocked, she went out of her way to make one available for me to purchase! This was so thoughtful and kind! Thank you so very much!

The inside is so cute! It's filled to the brim with teapots, cups, sets, and other tea related things, including boba kits! Speaking of boba, it's pretty good, other than the fact that the boba pearls need to be cooked longer. And one more thing, I recommend the steamed buns, they're delicious!

It has been a pleasure to support our local business's. Always experience your products and we love the bubbles in the teas. As well the Staff and the smells when I enter your establishment . When I come to town - I stop there 1st.

Sipping Streams Company Essential Immune Boosting Workshop review

I just completed the 5 day Essential Immune Boosting Workshop with Jenny from Sipping Streams company. It s my second workshop with Jenny and it didn t disappoint!
The workshop is intense, with an hour long talk covering various topics, daily homework and challenges. Jenny is a good speaker and communicator. She presents the information in a clear and straightforward way and takes time to answer all the questions. She demonstrated the teas she was making and the tea ware and kept everyone engaged. I felt as if I were in the kitchen with her sharing a cup of tea. It was great to see people in the group discussing, asking questions and getting to know each other.

Once again, prompt, great service with a smile. My daughter and I really enjoyed the pork and chicken steamed buns as well as iced milk tea and iced masala chia tea. Both teas were lightly sweetened, which was a pleasent surprise. Will definitely do again.

If you like tea at all this is a must visit! So many teas to choose from there is something for everyone here. There are lots of tea accessories and custom blends from right here in Fairbanks, this is a great place to find gifts or souvenirs. The teas are always brewed with care and the tea house treats are home made and delicious. Today I chose the tea of the day and udon soup with meatballs for a quiet dinner alone. Perfect for a chilly evening!

I absolutely love this place and I love their teas. The teas are some of the best quality tea I have ever had and I love the fact that if you have any questions regarding their tea or tea in general, everyone will answer your questions to the best of their ability and if they don t know the answer, they will do the research and get back to you with the answer as soon as they possibly can.

I love Jenny and her business Sipping Streams! She is fantastic at creating unique blends. Her classes are so informative. She teaches how to properly prepare tea and the health benefits of each variety. If you are a real aficionado you can attend her trips to locations where teas are harvested. I left Fairbanks and moved to Wasilla. I was devastated thinking I wouldn't be able to maintain my tea stache. Luckily my son stayed in Fairbanks and keeps me stocked, but you can also order her teas online, pick them up at Three Bears (limited variety) or wait for the fair when she comes down and maintains a booth. I asked for some refills from my son as a Christmas gift. So glad I found her. Highly recommend her and Sipping Streams!
