I have been calling concerned because I cannot reach my friend staying there. Her phone worked for 2 days. I have not been able to reach her room for over 2 weeks. I am her health proxy and because of COVID she has not been allowed to leave the facility for 8months. Going to visit her house and cat twice a day made her happy. I feel I should be able to visit her in her room to check on her personal items and talk with her in detail at least. (Since they can't see going out is therapuetic) Care has dropped off significantly since their lockdown. 8 months dentures broken. No haircuts.And for speaking up, I was told I should be ashamed of myself. These people are clients not convicts ! They were often short staffed before the virus. Who knows what's going on now? From what I've been told the only confirmed cases of covid were staff ! Where do you get reassurance all is well ? I gave them an excellent review 11 months ago. In response to the communication I have received.: I have contacted the facility on more than one occassion. That is why I opted for this. Someone ought to check up on the woman that sits on the side of the building in a wheel chair with no mask on, smoking

This past year has made it clear that we need to be grateful for the people and places in healthcare that are doing an exceptional job. Thank you Sippican staff for always putting your residents first, and for being an incredible team, working together towards optimal outcomes for your short rehab patients! Great place overall!

Our family had a good experience here. It wasn't as far of drive from NB as we thought and it was clean and updated. There was always someone present and people answered the phone when we called.

unhappy with this facility, hospital dis charge reports were unread and my grandmother was put on a puree diet when she didn't need to be. We were told she couldn't be discharged on Sunday because she needed to be sent home with oxygen. They change her discharge to Tuesday and then they tell us on Tuesday she doesn't need oxygen anymore. The case manager was "busy" and wasn't able to do the discharge paper work. Her discharge date was changed AGAIN!!!! You don't treat a 94 year old this way. She was pulled out of bed very early just to have her sit in a chair all day long. Myself and her other grandchildren were the ones attending to her and changing her since no one knew how to do their jobs. The case manager was never around and always "in a meeting". There were certain nice people there but overall it's professionalism was horrible.

Very questionable billing practices they will send you a bill for your loved one and have no explanation for what it's for

I came here after my aortic valve was replaced at Beth Israel in Boston. I received the best care and was able to leave in very good shape because of the excellent Physical Therapy.

I've found both the staff and the facility far above whats available around this area. There is both open communication with the staff, the client and the family. Plenty of activities and even outside entertainment.
