We, a couple from Australia in our 50s, hired bikes for a week, and cycled down to Verona from Brunico near the Austrian border. Got the bikes and ourselves there on the train without any problems. Had a great trip on well signed paths in a fantastic landscape. Simonetta staff were very helpful with bookings we'd made from Aus, prior to the ride, and bikes, panniers and everything worked 100%. Can highly recommend Simonetta, - would hire equipment from them again in a flash!

Very helpful company with a good assortment of bikes and very easy to communicate to. We took their standard bikes and pushed them to 1400m, so if you're into cycling over hills in Trentino, you can use them.
Had rented a bike for 1 week. Had it previously booked over the internet and communicated with Elisa by mail, all questions were promptly and competently answered. Trip organized together with the Musella estate where we were staying. Francesco was really good, he explained a lot of interesting things to us! We did 40 km but with the e-bikes we had no problems! We recommend it !!

Yesterday we decided to take a trip to Verona for the 1st time and we broke up 2 normal bikes for it is my husband. We were satisfied both for the kindness of the staff's advice and very happy for the convenience and performance of the bikes. We walked comfortably almost all day both inside the center and outside with a climb to the castle

Great bike hire and professional, competent, friendly Verona tours
We rented bikes from Simonetta to do the Munich-Venice route, which is a great cycleway that goes from Germany to Italy and crosses the Alps. We rented in Verona and took them on the train to Munich. Simonetta's Bianchi bikes were perfect road bikes, they had no breakdowns even though we went through rain, mud and terrains that were pretty uneven. The low gears helped us climb the steepest parts, namely the hike that goes from Innsbruck to the Brenner pass. Overall, we had a great experience, I would highly recommend.

A group of 20 people is never easy to manage, but the guide was very kind and patient even in the face of delays and some technical problems encountered along the way.

We enjoyed the day despite the weather! The bikes were great as was the route planned by Elisa. The only issue was that preparing the bikes delayed our departure so that we were always going to struggle to get to the Villa della Torre for 11.00 and arrived 20 minutes late. However, they were very relaxed about it & carried on as normal. The tour & tasting were very informative & the meal at Enoteca No1 was superb.

Great service and nice people! Coming from Australia visiting Italy I come to Verona just for a day trip and was on limited time, I rented a bike from Simonetta which was simple and fairly priced, one of the staff made me a 50km route and I took to the local mountains just behind the bike shop for the ride. The hills were incredible and I highly recommend riding here. The gravel rental bike was great and had good brakes and great gearing for the climbs. They equip the bikes with flat and spd pedals so clip in shoes can be brought and used on the bikes, but I went in sneakers which was ok.
Very friendly and helpful staff. Flexible with accessories which was really appreciated. Good quality bike with good sizing options. Just wish it had been a little cooler to explore more of the amazing hills!

Elisa was prompt, knowledgeable, and went the extra mile , to help us. We rented two bikes for almost a month for an extended trip North from Verona and down through Istera in Croatia.
For several months before our trip she answered our questions like, The train company says they can t guarantee space for our bikes! Will we be ok? (Yes).
Verona is a great starting point to see northern Italy. Take a few days to explore locally before travelling further- it s flat, there are lots of easy routes, the twin is very nice, and you are away from the crowds in Venice, yet it s close.
The bikes, panniers, kit, routes and so on they provided worked well.
I d highly recommend this family business to all cycle travellers for tours and equipment.
For an individual 10-day bike ride in Po Valley, Po Delta from Verona, we rented 3 touring bikes from Simonetta Bike Tours. These were in great condition and we did not have a single problem during about 500 kilometers of cycling. The support from the team was also excellent. Great team. Super Service.

We recently visited Sirmione on Lake Garda and did a 3 day bike tour with Simonetta Bike Tours. Everything was very well organized, the bikes were great and worked well. Transfers were organized to and from the train station. The routes were on quiet roads and paths. We went west of Sirmione to Salo on the first, south to Borghetto on the second and east to Garda on the third. On each day we had an organized lunch which was fab. We stayed in the Villa Pioppi Hotel just outside of Sirmione. Sirmione can be quite busy especially on weekends but the Pioppi is off the main road and very quiet. And it has the best sunset view ever. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting the area. The cycling is very doable with the first day being the most challenging. Thanks to SBT for organizing such a great trip.

This is THE place to rent bikes from in Verona. We contacted Simonetta by email 3 months before we traveled to Italy to request a bike rental for 10 days. Communication with Simonetta and Elisa was quick and efficient. They speak and write English perfectly. When we got there, our bikes and panniers were ready. The bikes are good quality and with Shimano gears which were smooth. We were provided panniers, helmets, locks, a spare inner tube and tools. All the staff at Simonetta Bike Tours was friendly and helpful. We stored our luggage with them while we went on our ten day ride. Overall, a great outfit to do business with. This is a great bike rental place. I booked online and needed the bike on a Sunday. They are closed on Sundays but opened their business only for my rental. The bike was a beautiful cross-bike (Bianchi), brand new that I was able to use in all types of roads. The price is incredibly reasonable (20 euro/day). I would recommend highly to anyone who comes from abroad and needs prompt and helpful replies/support.

I hired a lightweight hybrid for a few days which was great for zipping around the city and longer journeys as I made it to Lake Garda and returned by regional train. I found everyone at Simonetta very friendly and hospitable, particularly Eliza who gave me a warm welcome and lots of advice on local routes. I would heartily recommend them if you are thinking of hiring a bike.
We rented 8 bicycles to cylce from Garda to Verona: We could take them over in Garda in good condition and on time, furthermore we were provided with a GPS track to follow, material for repairs on the way as well as helmets for all group members. A very good experience!
We rented a Bianchi gravel bike and we were very happy. The bike was excellent and the right size and Tommaso was very helpful and nice.
I did the Ebike tour of the Verona Countryside and had a fabulous day. The scenery was beautiful and the guide was great, extremely accommodating, adapting the route for the preferences of the group and even accommodating an ice cream stop. I also have a nut allergy that was well catered for. I highly recommend Simonetta Bike Tours.

We rented bikes from Simonetta yesterday and were hoping to bike to some wineries. Elisa helped us plan a route for the day and recommended several great wineries. The bikes were in great condition, we also rented a saddle bag or pannier to hold our items (highly recommended if you plan to buy a bottle or two). We had so much fun, we lost track of time and even though we were quite a bit late for our drop off the staff was so friendly and helpful. Our day riding around to San Mattia and Musela was one of the highlights from our trip, cannot recommend this bike shop enough.

I rented a trekking bike for 7 days (July 2019) with which I toured through Veneto. Great service, very accommodating. Not only did they provide me with the helmet and padlock as mentioned on the website, but also the repair material. Fortunately I didn't need it: I cycled all week without any problems with my bike.
We had the best 7 day bike trip, Elisa from Simonetta has organised an amazing route, every day was special in a different way. Amazing landscape and beautiful old towns and villages.
The e bikes were fun to cycle and made the up hill a breeze to climb.
