We recently visited Sirmione on Lake Garda and did a 3 day bike tour with Simonetta Bike Tours. Everything was very well organized, the bikes were great and worked well. Transfers were organized to and from the train station. The routes were on quiet roads and paths. We went west of Sirmione to Salo on the first, south to Borghetto on the second and east to Garda on the third. On each day we had an organized lunch which was fab. We stayed in the Villa Pioppi Hotel just outside of Sirmione. Sirmione can be quite busy especially on weekends but the Pioppi is off the main road and very quiet. And it has the best sunset view ever. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting the area. The cycling is very doable with the first day being the most challenging. Thanks to SBT for organizing such a great trip.
