A unique experience. It's hard to describe it in words. Different exhibits stand out on their own but also make sense together, in the 'flow' of the museum. You can see Simon Wiesenthal's office as soon as you enter the Holocaust exhibit.

Nice brigade posts here ...

Simon Weisenthal wrote a lot of books and he was quite a good writer. Very readable, although sad of course.

As our WWII vets die off, and as orange-tinted Fascism walks around openly these days. organizations like this are going to be increasingly important.

Bts should be responsible for the symbols it uses and the message it transmits. It is important that there are institutions that control the spread of hatred to different communities in the world. Congratulations to the Simon Wiesenthal Center!
Proof of the recognition of BTS in the use of symbols of intolerance is the excuse given by BTS managers (CNN, November, 13).
"BTS 'management, Big Hit Entertainment, offered its" sincere apologies "for" inadvertently inflicting pain and distress to anyone affected "by the group's choice of clothing."

If you had done any research on BTS, you would have known that they truly do not promote hate. In fact, they send a very positive of message of Love Yourself. Their music has inspired a lot of people, in all age groups, all around the world. Also, the shirt you referenced, was to celebrate Korea s independence and liberation from Japan. Not to glorify the atomic bomber. Please do not forget all of the horrendous things Japan did during that time. Use your center to influence and educate rather than condemn.

A mind altering experience. See the horrors of the Holocaust. Hear a survivor share their story. Walk with the leaders of the civil rights movement. Explore what individuals can do to change the world for the better.

This is an amazing organization. I'm not sure what the many BTS postings are about, but they are not related to SWC's core work. As one can see from some of the other reviews, there is significant antisemitism in the US, and a major need to remind people of the crimes against humanity which some blindly deny or try to whitewash.

This center proved that they are entirely ignorant of ww2 issues in Asia which is just equivalent to Jewish Holocaust. It's very dangerous to let this center keep deceiving people with their lack of historical accuracy. Current situation which revealed this center's involvement with extreme right-wingers of Japan that still follows Nazism should be concerned for it could be another main power which forces the evil. People in charge of this organization should be ashamed of their siding with Asian Nazis followers.

Thank you for acknowledging the issue and avoid the unwanted harm spreading further. Although some may not agree the best approach was made due to lacking of understanding in complexity in political environment. I appreciate the work you had attempt to made to correct the situation.

Though there were no words of apology, I will replace my very angry review with this: I truly have nothing against this center itself, but rather some of its staff that manage their website. I hope we can put this behind us.

This is a must-see place for anyone who cares about civil rights, about not repeating the horrors of the past, and who is willing to stand up for the truth of what happened even when it's painful or uncomfortable. I note that people who have given this center poor reviews seem to have political agendas that are at odds with historical accuracy. If they have issues with standing up to anti-Semitism, they should be required to visit Auschwitz or Yad Vashem and get a real education. This is very light compared to those experiences. See for yourself.

The Simon Wiesenthal Center has become the target of a widespread smear campaign by fans of the Korean Boy Band BTS. When you get todays social media savvy teenage fans upset at you, unfortunately the result is a Google rating that's been cut in half.

The issue of BTS promoting "Nazism" is actually part of a highly organized smear campaign started by far right wing nationalists in Japan. BTS is being attacked by a hate group that wants Japan to be "pure" again. They don't want Koreans (or Chinese, Thai, etc.) in their country and by using BTS---the largest, most popular Korean band in Japan---they can further their agenda by trying to defame their name.

What's sad is they were successful in deceiving western media who have literally been spreading misinformation and propaganda from a hate group. Imagine if the BBC or NY Times published a story with the source from the KKK or Neo-Nazis. They have showed complete lack of journalistic integrity. Not only have they tarnished BTS's name, but the members--first Jimin, now Taehyung--are receiving credible threats from this hate group while touring in Japan. Western media has a duty to report this story correctly but have instead remained silent. Despicable.
