Beautiful shopping center, but great for those with a thicker wallet $$$$
This is a great shopping center. It has a number of higher end stores. The deli has a great selection. Plenty of parking. This is a great place to hang out for a few hours when the weather is great.
Plenty of shops and parking spots. There are little robot cops that record video and audio for safety
Great outdoor mall - kind of high-end with lots of out door flowers and seating-Macy is there.
The place to stock up on the Stanford dress. Cardinal Red is in.
This is not an outlet mall so don't expect discounted items. Most are on retail price.
Afraid of security. He blocked pathway and was talking rudely for no justification. I am afraid to walk around due to Security abusiveness. Scary guard.
Nice clean shopping experience. American Girl store was our visit.
Great event at Williams Sonoma! Met The Silver Winner of Bocuse d'Or 2015 - Philip Tessier! Amazing Chef, wonderful Writer, and Great Person!
High end shopping center. A nice place to just walk around and causally browse. They have done a great job of making the grounds beautiful as well as securing classy stores and restaurants to fill in the retail space. Definitely one of my favorite malls to go to!
Huge beautiful mall with all the shops. It's like South coast plaza and fashion Island in orange county had a baby.
Good outlets but parking is bothersome. Most stores close by 6pm
Beautiful open air shopping centre. With major department stores.
Lots of fancy stores. Nice landscaping and environment
Very nicely laid out and not crowded at all. Beautiful Stanford University Shop.
A pretty cool place. Some cool vendors like Tesla make it interesting to visit. Great chocolates at See's etc.
Nice restaurants and shopping experience among nerds
Great shopping center. Multiple types of stores for every need (grocery, clothing and household goods), restaurants and cafes, plus a nice atmosphere.
Upscale shopping center. Getting more and more variety each year. The only part missing is a good coffee place, like a Barefoot or a Bicycle coffee.
Dogs are welcome! Friendly service, plenty of parking, and is a beautiful place to stroll through even if you aren't looking to buy anything.
Neiman Marcus is truly "My "it" store.
6-7k Last week. In going back on Friday for another dress that is 2,500.
The best of everthing.
Pretty helpful service when being checked out but could be more useful on the floor when needed something.
Love to shop here...interactive map of stores and easy to use and find. The outdoor environment is appealing like a stroll in the park.
Not a huge fan of Stanford Shopping Center. While there are a few good select stores, most of them are completely random and don't really mix well with the rest.
Beautiful shopping center but no where to shop on a budget
Great shopping mall, very comfortable to stroll around
I like this place. Very good collection in the stores and perfect location
What impressed me the most during the four years of studying at Stanford, and what surprised me the most, was the high degree of freedom in this institution. As the school motto "Die Luft der Freiheit weht" ("let the wind of freedom blow") states, Stanford students enjoy full freedom of choice whether they are in academic courses or in campus life.
First of all, if you want to graduate at Stanford, no course is "compulsory" (each major does have several required courses, but if you really don't want to take these courses, you can choose another major). Even though it is a writing course that has been widely criticized by students, there are more than 20 writing courses on different topics for students to choose from. The content ranges from detective novels to future technology, and even video games. In order for students to choose their favorite courses, there is a three-week "shopping period" at the beginning of each semester-students can freely add or delete the courses they want to take this semester like online shopping during this time, without the need Worrying about your grade point being affected.
Regardless of academic work, students also have full control over their extracurricular life. I still remember that when I first arrived at Stanford for freshmen training, there was a symposium that I was not very interested in. In addition, I wanted to take a break because of the exhausted journey, so I didn't want to participate. I asked the person in charge of the event quietly. Unexpectedly, the person in charge showed a surprised expression-"Of course! At Stanford, there is no event that must be attended. In the future, if you encounter an event that you are not interested in, you will not come directly. That's it, no special instructions are needed." At that time, I was still skeptical, but now looking back over the past few years after graduation, what the person in charge said is indeed sincere and not deceiving me. In the past four years, I have not encountered mandatory lectures, never heard of activities that must be attended, and even the graduation ceremony, if you think the sunshine in California is too much, you can just not attend it. It is this high degree of freedom that makes Stanford students' extracurricular life exceptionally colorful. Every weekend, whether it is sweating like rain with a couple of friends on the sports field, or rehearsing hard for this next performance with classmates from the theater, or going in a line like me for half an hour after being full. To transplant succulents, everyone has several activities that they enjoy, and they can find a group of like-minded friends.
I can't forget Stanford, shopping malls are all street
Undergoing remodeling! I liked the previous style. It gives the mall history and a vintage look
Many stores to choose from and security is always around. As well as a robot security... Seriously! You will see it roaming around.
CONS:
NOT ENOUGH RESTROOMS
LUNCH TIME IS A DISASTER
LINES ARE UNBEARABLE IN ALL STORES
PROS:
PLENTIFUL PARKING IF YOU DON'T MIND WALKING.
DOG FRIENDLY
Great new exterior refurbishment done by the design firms; BAR and TGP out of SF. Lots of seating, shade, and new planting. I am not a big shopper, but this is nice to see. I decided to walk from DT PA to the mall, this takes 20-30min each way. More if you go to Nordstrom.
Good mix of retail, restaurants and services. Clean and well maintained as well as all stores dog friendly.
Very clean and safe place. Very upscale, but a beautiful place to walk around typically. When flowers are in season it is very pretty.
Maps and layout somewhat confusing, otherwise eclectic mix of unique posh and retail chain department shops. Plentiful parking but be prepared to walk a lot through this open air mall.
One of the best location for shopping, plenty of stores , free parking.
Love Stanford shopping center its outside walking area is nice and the shops are great alot of great stores.
A pretty nice outdoor mall, even you're not looking for anything, it's a nice place to take a walk.
What can I say about Stanford Shopping Center. It is an icon in the Bay Area for whoever wants to shop in an upscale environment. Great stores with great selection.
The only downside: prices are in relation to the place - pretty upscale. But what else would one expect. :)
Its amazing shopping at its finest
Great selection of designer stores
Great mall with beautiful landscaping and a variety of shops.
The world's top universities have top-notch scenery.
Staffs are very helpful. If you are visiting Stanford or just getting something for you friends, this is a must-stop for you.
this university is very beautiful very wide with many places to visit On that occasion it was under construction so we did not have access to many of the places a next visit you have try to enter their facilities also visit the Stanford hospital very nice By the way
Great place to wonder around when the weather is nice. Parking can be rough.
Beautiful shopping centre. Well stocked. Can get almost anything under one roof.
Cool vib. Lots of shops!!
Christmas decorations there are the bomb!!
People, be aware, this is a high crime area. Within 20 min of parking, I was robbed of literally everything. Once police arrived on-site, they were not surprised at all. However, this incident really hurt me and the Shopping center is literally doing nothing to prevent further crime. I am sure that Stanford shopping center believes that any alerts from their side would hurt sales. Nonetheless, I genuinely believed that this is a safe neighborhood. Their insurance is not even trying to cover damages although it happens on Stanford shopping center grounds. Bottom line: DO NOT GO THERE, EVER!
Prices are affordable and all types of household and other products are available.
