People, be aware, this is a high crime area. Within 20 min of parking, I was robbed of literally everything. Once police arrived on-site, they were not surprised at all. However, this incident really hurt me and the Shopping center is literally doing nothing to prevent further crime. I am sure that Stanford shopping center believes that any alerts from their side would hurt sales. Nonetheless, I genuinely believed that this is a safe neighborhood. Their insurance is not even trying to cover damages although it happens on Stanford shopping center grounds. Bottom line: DO NOT GO THERE, EVER!
