I met Silvio himself; he's a real down-to-earth guy. It's impressive that he's still fulfilling his role as the owner, being that he is the founder of this 40-year-old shop. The ambience is friendly and they will give you service that makes you feel more like a friend than a customer. They even offered to buy my gear for a higher price than the camera shop down the street.
My order was not right had to go back. Look at my video still not right.
Very unhappy with their quality of service. I gave my camera for repair 5 weeks ago and they said the repair will take 2 weeks. Iam still waiting on it. they never bother to update if it is late and when we call they are in a hurry to just give a random date.
Always a great place to find film and cameras as well. They have answers to my questions as well to my photography .
I have been doing business with Silvio s for over 15 years. I have never failed to receive the correct advice on any photographic need, from equipment to printing. Silvio is a super polite, friendly owner and pleasant to deal with. His staff have always been very knowledgeable and never try to push products I don t need. Silvio s is the best camera store in the area. They have everything from the latest cameras, lens, film, tripod, go pros, lighting and more. The best part apart this camera store is they have photography classes and camera repair services. It s rare to find good people to help you make a purchase about something you don t know about. I spent a good two hours shopping because I felt so comfortable.

Ok this store is an amazing store! They have a variety of products for beginners, amateurs, pros, and anyone else looking for gear. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and went above and beyond for my satisfaction. I love that. Will make this my go to store for camera and photography needs.

I bought a film camera (long ago), 3 full frame DSLRs, and a new "L" lens from Silvio.
When I bought my 5D MkII, I paid for the extended warranty, and then completely failed to register the camera, and I lost all of the paperwork. This was completely my fault. Silvio bent over backwards to get Mack to honor the warranty. His efforts saved me a $1200 repair.
I just now looked them up because I want to buy yet another FF DSLR. (Canon 5DS) I didn't even consider taking my business to anyone else.

I called them and asked them if they would help me troubleshoot, and they were more than eager to help and invited me into their store where they help me resolve my issue. Came in to buy a microphone adapter for my Gopro and left with 800 $ worth of studio lighting. Great experience and I got to be helped by the owner himself. What a wonderful person. He made sure I'm happy with the purchase before I left the store. I would definitely go back and shop for some more next time I'm back in town. Lots of selections on everything you might need for you live streaming or photography.

Excellent attention, at the time they did not have the product but they helped us by providing us with information about who could have it, because it was urgent. Definitely one of my favorite places for when a photographer occupies something.
I feel a bit taken advantage of since my first visit yesterday. I went to purchase a used Super clamp and stud. New these items are found priced together 29.99. They would not give me a price over the phone but I decided to go anyway since I like sup[porting local businesses and I wanted to make sure the product would work for my purpose.
I get to the store and the gentlemen I spoke to on the phone is nowhere to be found but 3 people come and introduce themselves to me. Very friendly I guess. They bring out the clamp and I ask how much for the used item. They quote me $30 without stud. I mention my finding one cheaper brand new and they come don to 25 for both. Not bad not great, but I'm there so its convenient. THEN I figure, hey I need a universal charger for my partner's canon. I ask what they have they bring it out. I try to get the price the guy changes subject but I figure hey can't be more than 15 - 20 bucks so I hand him my card. The gentelment then starts taking all my address and contact info and I never get to askhim for the price. I go to sign transaction for super clamp and charger and it's $65! I ask 'hey wait how much was charger?' He says $35 but it comes with such and such. He then cuts opens the package of the charger I just purchased. I feel it's a bit expensive but I figure there was a small markup for the store front and it must be a decent one and he just opened the package so I move on. I'm with my kid and need to get things done so I leave after drooling over some of the nice lenses.
Later I look up the universal charger to make sure I didn't pay too much markup. I then realize I can find this charger online and in store fronts for less than $10.00 I feel like I've been had! Don't go here if you are on a budget or don't mind over paying a mark up of over 300% I feel as though I was overcharged on the one item because I asked the gentlemen to come down on the USED clamp he'd priced at brand new cost.
I call to mention my displeasure and they say well that's the price as marked but you can take back or see if they will approve some refund for the amount. Sigh. I live 30 min away so I may just call this a wash and never return to the store.

Too aggresive selling, seems like they want to take all the money that you have, no matter what you need. Just one example (I have more if you want), after spending 3k on a camera the guy seemed to get bothered because I didn't buy an extra battery and I got just one memory card...
The good thing is it is not the only photography shop in the area.
