During COVID your wait times should not be 40min+ in your lobbies. Your building is FULL of older and younger people getting treated and waiting together in your lobby. The disregard for keeping the elderly here safe was very disappointing. Glad you are making money though packing your appointments...

Dr Silverstein helped maintain my eyesight through an autoimmune disorder that was affecting my sight, which is now in remission. Not only did not lose any sight permanently from that, but my lasik surgery that Dr Silverstein performed prior to the illness 16 years ago is still perfectly effective. I cannot say how much I appreciate the professional care for my annuals, but when you have a medical problem you cannot be in better hands.
I have been going here for quite sometime, referred to me by my father who had also gone here for many years . Really, need I say more. I am truly happy with every aspect of this office and staff. I cannot think of one negative thing about this office. Nothing run smooth and perfectly all the time and for those handful of naysayers, please take that into consideration because they are always here to help and have your best interest at heart.
Went for a follow up visit after cataract surgery waiting room was full amidst a COVID pandemic I had a major surgery two weeks ago and was left in the waiting room with the excuse that they only had three doctors in that day. After waiting for an hour I checked and they told me there were two patients ahead of me. Unacceptable especially when they called me three times to make sure I would be there on time for my appointment why didn t they reschedule. I know the answer. I am in my global period from my surgery so they weren t going to get paid for my visit as it was included in the money they received for my surgery. I am very disappointed as their location was convenient but not at the cost of my health and time. I will make my insurance company aware. Additionally my ride had left me there because they didn t want to wait so I ended up having to walk two weeks out from having a double mastectomy where I had three invasive cancers and a DIEP flap reconstruction. Not a happy patient!
What a waste of time, when I made the appointment let them know what kind of insurance I have the lady told me they did accepted it, I arrive at the appointmnet and the receptionist told me they did not accepted my insurance. They just made me waste my time and staff where not even nice about it.
I have been seeing Dr. Silverstein for the past five years for my cataracts and glaucoma. I could not be happier with the care I have received from Dr. Silverstein and his excellent team. They are always caring, professional and take the time to answer all my questions. Recently, I have had LenSx Femtosecond laser-assisted cataract surgery and astigmatism correction. I also received iStent injections for my glaucoma. I was simply astounded by experiencing no pain from these procedures. I have worn glasses and contacts for over 50 years, but now I am delighted to see so well without them. I see a bright future ahead and wish the same for you!
Very Rude and Misleading: I had an eye exam in February; the first time I've ever had to get glasses. I asked about just getting contacts when I was there and was told by the Dr. that they would not do that until I had worn glasses for a while. Not knowing any better, I trusted the Dr. and got the (extremely overpriced) glasses from Lens Crafters which is the supplier he sent me to (assuredly due to the relationship this office has with that supplier). I ended up paying over $400 for a pair of glasses. I thought that was normal since I had never experienced this before. Today I called back to get my prescription so I could order new glasses / contacts. The first time I called I left a message around 11 AM and did not call back because the voicemail stated they WOULD call back today. No one ever called back. A few minutes before 5 PM I called the main line back and spoke to a lady who pretended to to be nice while she advised me that they don't do exams for contacts, only eye glasses and that those are different exams - again, news to me. She said she could connect me to the correct department to get that prescription and I asked if it was the one I called earlier. She said it was and I told her that I called this morning but no one had called me back. She just said, well, they will eventually. (That's BS - call your customers back!) I told her I wasn't interested in leaving another unreturned voicemail on the same line and in fact, I wasn't impressed with their business practices up to this point anyway so I would just go somewhere else. She said "Fine" and hung up.
I would NEVER recommend this place. They were very unclear about what they were taking my money for - I thought I was going to get contacts with this same prescription and they sent me to a place they grossly overcharged for a pair of glasses. They take advantage of people that don't know any different and they are extremely rude (hang up on you) when you express your aggravation with how you've been swindled.
I had glaucoma and my other doctors office that I was going to was dragging their feet getting me in so I went to Silverstein eye centers. Dr. Silverstein and the staff was very friendly and professional and got me right in for surgery and saved my eye. I ve been back to for quite a few appointments and my pressure in my eye is perfect. Thank you Dr. Silverstein
November 2018 I received a corneal transplant due to the fact that Dr. Silverstein performed the surgery and screwed up the procedure my I pressure went from normal to more 10 times more than normal thus causing permanent blindness in my left eye. I may have regained some sight if the procedure was corrected sooner, however due to his arrogance and poor bedside manner he was confident that eye pressure was not a serious issue, thus resulting in my severe pain and blindness, I came into his office with sight and came out with no sight. SAVE YOURSELF, GO ELSEWHERE!
Really upset when my appt. card said 4/16 and after calling to confirm, which I was told was correct and driving clear over to office, I was told my appt was actually 8/16. Really bad business in my opinion.
Dr. Silverstein is a very good Dr. He takes his time to help you understand everything that's going on with the patient. He does eye surgery in the same building so you don't have to travel elsewhere. One stop shop his staff is extremely helpful and full of knowledge and gives patients the up most respect they deserve. Glad my family found this office.
First time going here. Receptionists were great. The nurse/practitioner(?) (I think her name was Diana) was clearly an expert at her job. Dr. Lookhart was great and professional as well. I'll be going back.
