Very good place to stay and food was really nice, must visit the resort once at least.

This place has superb ambiance great rooms . The fountain, the lake everything looks very serene and peaceful. The drinks are nice but the food doesn't know tastes as great as the ambiance.

Its looks nice ,nature lovers likes most ,there is a natural pond also it looks awsome at night ...good for richers event.

I stayed in a duplex room which is big room with apt amenities, though the lighting of the room could be improved.

Probably the best resort property in mysore. They have most of the facilities available for a holiday including a spa. The pool is quite big too. You can rent out cycles to ride within the property. Kids and family friendly.

To be honest the place is Beautiful. This definitely is one of the best places to stay in Mysore if you are looking for a resort like environment. Lot of little things are well thought of..It's wheelchair accessible in all places, there is a beautiful water body, tiny little bridges and it's green everywhere...goes to say it's maintained extremely well.. rooms are spacious, with beautiful views, bed is comfortable, bathroom is a lil small but nothing to complain about, staff are very courteous and the garden restaurant by the lake is just fantastic..it's an experience we won't forget..one of the best options for a cosy candle lit dinner..

There are a few things to complain about though.. The food at the restaurant is good...but the service is just horrible.. it's not that the staff don't care, they are quite polite...it's just feels like they are terribly understaffed.. anything and everything takes atleast 45 mins... You have to remind them atleast 3- 4 times and by the time they get it, the food is cold.. the worst thing was that, we were a vegetarian group and even after repeatedly telling them that, they got us a chicken pasta instead of our veg one. Also, they are expanding and there is construction gng on all the time..so the power keeps fluctuating and frustrating part is that they start work as early as 6 am..so it was a very noisy experience..

Other than that, this really was one of the places I have stayed in Mysore. The Spa is brilliant.. definitely try it, you can rent bicycles and ride around the huge property, they have buggies which can take you around and pool is also beautiful and well maintained. Perfect choice for a weekend getaway

Visited Silent Shores Resort and Spa in Hootagalli, Mysore, Karnataka state, India in 2017 to celebrate my parent's wedding anniversary. This particular review is long overdue! I was really impressed even from the moment I made my first phone call to make general enquiries. It's a pretty big property with 3 restaurants, a swimming pool, a cafe, gym, besides their magnificent serene resort with their varied selections of rooms. All information is readily available on their website. Upon arrival, we were promptly welcomed and guided by the female receptionist. The first impression always makes a big difference!

We tried their small, but quite spacious restaurant pretty close to the parking within their compound. For this reason, I didn't get to see their gorgeous resort wihich has an equally breathtaking landscape, apart from the beautiful flora!

The lunch buffet was impeccable with a diverse array of cuisine and dishes, starting with enough of the common starters and of course had its yummy soups, besides Indian food, of course which had South Indian, even with vegetarian choices such as curd rice, Chinese, Mughalai, continental including American and even Italian, having pasta and pizza options. There were of course, desserts, besides fresh fruits. Everything was cooked very well, tasty, quite filling and the restaurant in itself was very clean, even especially the buffet spread area.

The staff were so courteous, responsible, patient and very helpful. Apart from the people who attended one of our very long tables, the Manager even came and checked on us.

One of the surprises, they even made sure to have a small cake at our table and it made it all the way more merry and memorable for my parents and myself on the special occasion. I was very thankful for the great service.

The only suggestion I would provide for their future patrons would be to have either an Indian Debit or Credit card or cash with them. Their Credit card machine did not accept my International credit card which happens quite often in India! Luckily, I had enough cash to pay the whole bill. I, still would grade Silent Shores Resort and Spa, a very high rating, given their excellent customer service, including their wonderful hospitality, respect towards their customers, great food, the value you get for the bill you pay, their calm and quiet location, away from the usual busy traffic and the first hand great impression which I have had. Great job and keep it up! I plan to visit them yet again some time!

Very good place for the destination weddings, full resort is green and clean,They have swimming pool, indoor games, also spa to enjoy.I was there for 2 days The morning breakfast was too good and the service by staff is very nice.Wish I could again the place in future also.

Beautiful resort. Our stay was amazing here. They upgraded our stay during check in..awesome and clean room. Spacious with jacuzzi. Mesmerizing greenary. Excellent maintenance. we would love to visit this place again.

Ptos: Good property with lots of space, greenary and amenities.
Cons: staffs attitude to costumers is pathetic, noncaring.specific is worst house keeping, we asked for drinking water and it was not supplied till check out. This happened multiple times. For tea bags they took 50 minutes to deliver. Forget about any room service.once you checked in they don't bother about your requirement.

The best resort in Mysore. Lovely restaurants and cafe shop. A new convention center is also come up inside. Ideal place for destination wedding also.

Place is good and clean, I recommend the place for nice and quiet stay.

The ambience is awesome. We attended for a team official lunch. After lunch we roamed all over the resort. There is a place perfect for marriages. When we visited the place the was a local (Mysore) marriage ocassion happened.

Beautiful property. Good kids play areas and a affectionate cat which my daughter really liked. Please do feed her whenever you visit. The duplex rooms are really well crafted. Negatives were only one restaurant is operating with a limited menu and minor maintenance issues which were resolved promptly.

Lovely large resort style property, built around an artificial Lake and a huge pool. Very nice rooms, bit pricey food options.

Great place to go either for a company offsite or a family trip.. the facilities and rooms are good, and there is ample space to walk to move around.. even a day here feels relaxed in stark contrast to living in Bangalore due to its quiet and 'silent ' spaces..

There's literally too many restriction u can't juz go have lunch take pictures and come back we just took some photos in cell phone and we were stopped by the security while leaving and were enquired if we did a photoshoot which we did not Infact we took pictures after asking one of their own employee, though they didn't know nothing they self assumed that we got an camera and did a photoshoot over there atleast they should've a asked us about it instead of assuming and stopping us while we were about to leave

Huge place where you need to be sure of the gate number which u have to visit, in fact it's a new feeling for mysoreans,
U could be in some other function with out knowing about it, by the time u realise it, u would have wasted lot's of time.
Ample parking space with out any problem. need to install more light's for parking.

The ambience is excellent with very green surroundings. But the food quality left a lot to be desired. The buffet is overpriced for the quality of the food on offer. The taste has to be significantly improved for a hotel like this. Liked the classy way in which the resort has been built, but if the food is not sumptuous , then the mood will be spoilt.

4 star goes for Ambience and maintanance.
Ambience is awesome for refreshment and great for kids/family outings.
When it comes to staffs and food, the experience was aweful. They have discontinued many items from menu which was first of all limited. And staffs dont treat you friendly. The guys at reception are good while checking-in but show their other face while check-out. If u order dinner to your room, for each time you order item, they charge GST and other charges seperately.

Good place to hangout with friends , especially for team party. Good atmosphere and great ambiance. Coming to food ,it is just woww .
