I rent trucks 6-8 times per year, this is the worst experience I've ever had. The truck itself was fine, but the clerk was the rudest most unprofessional I have EVER dealt with. I rented the pick up truck from the Solana Beack location with an 8am pick up time. We then get a call from a very rude person letting us know that the only option is to drive up to Encinitas. Due to traffic we arrive at 8:15am. The trucks not ready and he asks us to take a 10' box truck. I tell him we drove up to Encinitas because we needed a pickup. This highly annoyed the clerk and he told us then we'd have to wait because the truck isn't ready. I pointed out that we had an 8am appointment and his response was, it's now 8:20. When I asked if it would have been ready at 8am this annoyed him more. We didn't get out of there until close to 9am as we were ignored while he took other phone calls and waited for photos to print for another customer.

This guy was amazingly rude and unprofessional. I own a business w. 50+ employees and would rather be out of business than have someone like him represent me and my brand. You could tell from the backwards hat and attitude that he just didn't give a s***. I'll never go back to this location.

They helped me get my package shipped. Took a really long time to get it done and my package will be delivered 4 days later then I was told. Hopefully their bosses can help them streamline their service because the employees did the best they could with what they had.

Horrible customer service. Unbelievable price inflation! I went looking for moving supplies, this location is a Uhaul Authorized Dealer... But, WHOA over $1.00 more per box compared to the advertised price online.

Definitely avoid this place! Shop online at Uhaul directly and get it shipped to you. Save your time, gas and patience-avoid this place!!!

These guys totally screwed me on my fuel charge. When I called them to dispute I got an answering machine and never received a call back. The answering machine was no surprise as when I was in the store renting a uhaul I watched as two employees just let the phone ring while they did paperwork (not helping customers). Beware of this postal annex. They are super shady.

Wish I would have read the reviews prior to using this location. Was told that UPS Ground would be sufficient to get my package to its location on a specific day. I could of paid an extra dollar to get it there 2 days early via FedEx but wanted it to arrive on the person's birthday instead. Paid 86 dollars for this shipping service and packing.

Next day comes around and I have not yet been sent the tracking number so I call and ask for it to be sent again. Shorty after I get a email with a PDF attachment with the tracking number hand written. Thanks because just typing this into the email would of been to hard to ask.
Finally at 2pm that day I get the shipment notification. I checked the tracking for the package today to find out the delivery date has been rescheduled for the day after I was told it would arrive. The day of the Birthday.
I called UPS and they offered no help and told me to speak with the store that shipped the package.
So I call this store and was told that they would look into the matter and call me back. 3 hours later I still haven't heard back from anyone. Call back to the store to speak with a young lady that offered no help and explained it was my fault for using the ground service and there was no guarantees.

This is total BS on this store and the person that rang me up. You gave me a bogus deldate and never explained that it was not actually going to get to the address on time. I would of gladly paid an extra dollar for it to arrive on Saturday. Understandable that weather and flight issues could cause a unexpected delay, but the fault here falls on you.
Your store offered no sympathy or want to fix the situation. Heck you didn't even have the balls to call me back yourself.
Also after reviewing the receipt I see I was charged 9 dollars for peanuts, 9.75 for a box, 4 dollars for bubbe wrap and 5.50 for "propak". Freaking overpriced, and knew I should of watch him pack it myself. Would only bet he didn't even use half of what I paid for.
I will never use your store again and I hope no one else does either.
