Sierra Family Medical Clinic Review

It's a little bit of a drive but a good place for your medical medical needs I was going there when I first moved to Grass Valley Calif. When my health wasn't so hot I transferred to Chapa de it is also good but the federal funded process rules make it hard to get the real help you need so I'm going back to sierra for my health and future health , I didn't think I'd live this long who knew but I've got grandkids and I'd like to stick around for awhile .

Ive been here several times and my experience has always been great. My husband on the otherhand was so upset at the way he was treated the one time he went, and the way he saw the dentis speek to another paitient. He never would go back. Not sure what happened. Bad day or what. My personal experience is good and I remain a patient there.

I am a regular patient at Sierra Family Medical. I find the staff dedicated compassionate and professional. Dr Peter is an exceptional doctor, and I also feel in good hands with Dr Leve and Laura Hermann. Just got a filling at the dental clinic, they do a great job!

I went to Family Health in NSJ for 12 years but 8 months ago changed to Western in GrassValley. Needless to say even though I live less than five minutes from Western just today I transferred back to Family because of difference in quality of care. Dr Van Holden was my doctor and he is super but all the doctors there are very nice.

I was in a tight spot with my health insurance, and unable to get into an office to have an exam. First time going to a medical facility that didn't actually feel like a hospital, and it's very nice. The people that work here really care about the community and the well-being of its' residents.
Be nice to them, during my first visit, I witnessed them accommodate every person who showed up with nothing but grace. They are there to help!

I've been a few times. The staff is wonderful. Treated me with kindness and understanding. They always know how to help!

Just wanted parents to know. This dental clinic has a locked door with a keypad entry between the waiting and exam rooms. The dentist insists you remain in the waiting room and does not allow parents to be present during examinations and dental procedures. I was extremely uncomfortable having my children receiving treatment on the other side of a locked door. When I stated my concerns, the dentist sent my children back to the waiting room and told me that I would have to wait until everyone else was finished before I was allowed to accompany my children.
My children were 8 and 13.

Dr. Amy Nielsen is amazing. I trust her completely. Too bad most of the bad reviews on here are for the dentist's office, because the medical office is wonderful!

Is this place a real doctors office, or is it really a cover up for other businesses like iv'e heard. I have been going to this office out of lack of choice for over a year. During that time I have had to wait weeks for my prescriptions to go through, and cannot get a hold of my doctor or even a PA no matter how many times I call. I have been waiting 10 months for my referral to a neurologist and 8 months for a referral to a infectious disease specialist. When I called one of the many times I was told they were backed up by 400 referrals and would get to mine when they could. I have a prescription to pick up every month, and each times it is weeks late. My pharmacy is sick of dealing with these people and asked if I could go to a different clinic..haha This is the worst run office ever. Dont bother going, if you actually need help.

Get past the receptionist and you'll find some compassionate and knowledgeable staff.

I have had many experiences with the dental department! Great staff! Shoutout to Dr. Blanco! She has changed my life. She performed 3 difficult extraction on me, including a wisdom tooth! I also had a root canal. That lady saved my tooth and did a great root canal! Much love for Dr. Blanco and the rest of the staff!

I would give no stars if I could!! Gabrielle and Shawna are heartless human beings!! Never been treated so horrible!! You should not be working in this industry! Your supposed to be helping people ! Very disappointing!!

I have been going here for the past year, I haven't had a problem yet. Everyone is cool, and HONEST. They are fast and efficient in their work. They do what they can to help you out.
