open late, good foodsin', sometimes a bit of a wait though

Over priced food and smaller portions, but it tastes ok.

A fairly average restaurant. Don't forget to pick up a tray if you intend to just get something like french fries and chicken tenders, as they'll be provided in a paper holder instead of on a plate unless you explicitly request one.

Great food and great wings, and subs with tons of ingredients!

Gross food and over priced. Pizza is absolutely the worst I've ever had. Gracie's pizza is better.

The food is good enough when you are on a dining plan at RIT but not worth going to as a way to show off campus.

The customer service today at the sub bar was absolutely appalling. They were rude to my friend and they were snappy when asking for the options. I usually understand off days and I understand feeling miserable doing food service work, but taking it out on your customers is not okay. For the most part, the customer service elsewhere at the commons is good. There are a couple people at the sub bar that are also really nice and friendly. The food is decent and it's a quick bite with healthy options.

Edit: Most of the people at night are nice and it's really a few bad apples during the day that have soured the experience.

The variety of items served is very nice, but the best food doesn't last. There have been multiple occasions in which I have gone to the Commons and the items which are temporary and very good are gone halfway into dinner service. Other than that, the food ranges from fantastic to serviceable, usually on the better side of that scale

Not bad, not special, off campus is definitely better

Their pizza is greasier then some of the kids who go here. A decent place to get food on campus

Good place to go with a group. Open fairly late. Can get busy, especially at dinner, and in the evenings.

Edit: They close off dining areas well before closing. Will throw people out of seating sections well before closing, as they expect only one or two minimum wage employees clean the entire dining area, which takes them 5 hours. Would recommend they find a more optimal solution.

Good food and great atmosphere you can watch the sunset if you sit by the back windows

The girl Haley (Sunday afternoon shift) who worked behind the sub was really rude to me and my friend. She asked if this the special and I had very hard time understanding her. I got confused because I ordered tuna sub. When I asked to repeat back what she said all she did was roll her eyes at me got angry at me. Really rude service. The first time had issue with the sub counter normally people behind the counter are really nice. This was just terrible experience.

It's the best place on campus, but that's not saying much.

Awesome place for food, drinks and spots to hang out and get work done.

4 star for being the best at RIT. Built in 'subway', the best pasta on campus, fried food on par with anywhere else on campus... the only way you won't have a passable meal is by ordering pizza (and while not awful it's not the worst I've ever had.) Occasionally has specials of varying quality. On the last couple weeks of class will offer crab/steak/other high cost items for those with food debit to spare.
Couch seating on and around- one of the more comfortable places to eat.

Lots of food of slightly higher than cafeteria quality. Portions are large for the price and one of the better places to eat on campus in terms of selection and value.

College food, at least it was clean. Friendly service.

The place has good food and they tend to serve you pretty quickly. Prices are good and the area is comfy.

It's college food. I will say that it is a step up from cafeteria food.

A fine enough place to eat, for a poor college kid. Certain hours are busier than others, so you're much better off waiting till 10 for dinner than trying to eat at 8. Prices are adjusted because Dining Dollars are tax free, so if you're paying in cash and have a student ID, you'd be better served just dropping the amount into your meal plan then paying the prices plus tax. Occasionally there are mishaps with food quality (read: food posioning) and prep (read: order forgotten), because it is serviced by a bunch of exhausted college students. Usually fine though, if a bit sad.

Kind of expensive not very good food, but it's edible.

Prime rib very good, it's not gonna be there again for a while so don't count on anything
