IMAX option theater, clean establishment with friendly staff.
Went to see Madea. My Husband and I laughed our Buttocks off. Loved that you can choose your seats. Everything clean and excellent Customer Care
They take too long with getting tickets if you're using something other than cash
Is the 4:20 showing of Black Panther a subtle reference to marijuana usage? Just a thought.
Horrible we got tickets for screen x it took forever for the movie to start after the show time after it started everyone looked like minions just yellow the two other screens would come on and off worst experience
Nice place ro hang out - movie and dinner and dessert options. Parking is hard to find.
Dirty ground, terrible interior. Fast and delicious food line. Tickets are expensive for the size of the seats.
The ticket kiosks inside don't work unless you have your Regal card. Otherwise it's a pretty nice place. Clean, good food, but service is a little slow. Other than that, a great theater.
I gotta say, the theatre looks pretty good and the staff are pretty helpful.
Regal Cinemas is our Theatre of choice to watch English and Hindi movies. Its pretty close to where I stay, so we end up walking most of the time. The cinema theatre is located as part of a bigger shopping complex, so plenty of parking space is available anyway. Also, you have some great choice of restaurants co-located with this complex. So, if you have time to spend, you can do the dinner-movie-icecream triathlon and go back home.
The theatre itself is fairly new. The interiors are great and looks fresh. The place is maintained well. The staff friendly too. We have a Regal Card, so we get some free stuff, like a soda or popcorn once in a while. The movie theatre are well maintained and cleaned after every show. We have been going there for the last 3 years and never have I found the theatre lacking in cleanliness.
Seating and sound equipment is great. The great part about this theatre is that they have plenty of screens and a good number of shows for each movie. They also have ticketing machines inside the theatre just in case you find yourself standing behind a huge line or it gets really chill to stand outside. This theatre also houses an IMAX screen. Of all the movies i have seen, Gravity on an IMAX was a fantastic experience.
The other great part is that they play Hindi movies too. The one drawback is that the place does get pretty crowded over the weekends, especially in the evenings and once or twice, I have found only 1 or 2 operating counters. Come on Regal., you can fix that.
My family's beloved destination, haven't got a chance to compare other theaters these days, but never felt the need to find another place
This is a large theater in a good location. Its located right off of interstate 580 and is in an open shopping mall place. It has stadium seating and shows the latest movies. The prices are typical for theaters these days. The food options are expensive so I recommend buying candy and stuff before you go. My husband and I went to a late showing of Moana, and we were pretty much the only ones in there, aside from a dad and his son. I enjoyed this theater and will be back.
Second time this week I have had to go find someone to start the movie. Then we get to watch 30 minutes of commercials and previews. This, after we already watched 10 minutes of commercials and previews after the noovie pre-show. The movie was the 6:40 showtime. We left at 7:20 to get our money back without seeing any sign of a movie. Not sure what is happening with the management of this location, but it is poorly run.
Had Malteasers (superior candy from UK now only available in movie theaters). Had to ask for them explicitly though.
I would like to see better seating in this theater. Very crowded but always a great time.
It is clean place plenty of parking the popcorn and food fresh and they have movies that are family (Christian) friendly
Good movie, horrible lines even with Fandango. Food line was so long almost missed our movie and the prices were way over priced . Would be nice if adults taught their kids not to talk through movies
I used to go to movies here all the time and I have some discount tickets from Costco that I may now never use.
Two really horrible and frustrating changes make it no longer fun to go to movies here.
1. Assigned seating. The single worst idea you ve ever had is to change to assigned seating. The nice thing about going to movies was knowing that you can move if someone loud, rowdy, or rude sits nearby. Now you re just stuck.
2. Multiple concessions lines. There used to be a single concession line, which assured more efficiency and the less wait time. Now you can get stuck behind some yahoo who doesn t know what to order or takes forever.
If you like your customers, you ll go back to treating them better. Until you get rid of the ridiculous assigned seating policy I ll watch movies on demand at home.
Great theater, needs more poeple working the ticket booth.
Really nice cinema. We went to see Apollo 11 on friday afternoon and the place was almost empty. The room was nice, with a good screen and a nice sound system. We bought also some popcorn, a burger and a soda with good prices and average quality, it would be nice have more options like fruit salad or a healthier sandwich than a burger.
Good film selection. But wish there were regular Indie Films / Sundance etc. to choose from. Outstanding Staff.. Helpful and polite. Hearing Impaired assisting equipment available. Comfortable theaters and easily accessible.
Planned birthday party for daughter.
Offering the service of a party should not be done if there isn t staff to support it.
One staff member admitted to muting the front desk phone due to too many phone calls last week when we bought tickets and wondered why no one would pick up the phone. It would be helpful to have at least a voicemail box or email address so any kind of questions or concerns about parties.
Pizza was late.. movie end time was 1:00 pm. Pizzas didn t arrive until 1:20.
No staff offered to help with serving pizzas or with gifts .
Manager was very courteous to us that day, a nice lady can t recall her name in the AM, African american. She got the ball rolling for my party. No one else there knew there was even an event planned or how to coordinate.
Overall due to the movie being good my kids enjoyed the experience but I will not recommend this place for any special events.
Always a great movie experience! Clean theater, lots of food, and a bar.
This Regal is not very regal! My main concern is the seating. I had a hard time getting my armrest down because it was sticking and the fabric on the seat was so stained and dingy. I put napkins down on my seat just to make sure the stains didn't transfer to my clothes. Other than that, the usual, popcorn costs more than a whole meal elsewhere, drinks are yet as expensive. If you ask for a cup of water, they won't give you a lidded cup. I went to a different theater this weeken, and they had clear plastic cups with lids for water! Plus, their butter dispenser was self serve for the popcorn and they had small tray style cardboard boxes for popcorn sharing available on a self serve basis as well!
Fun, chill, cozy hangout spot
Nothing too crazy...
Theaters need a real make over.. they should learn from cinemax and adapt to more comfortable seating.
Great theater. IMAX and RPX are great screens. Little pricey but worth it.
Love going to the movies there, and the buttered popcorn what can I say .
Great time. Just wondering if they have a lost and found because I left a black beanie and I don't have time to go see if they have it. Please let me know if you have a lost and found.
This theater plays literally everything that comes out, and they still play it long after most theaters have moved on. They have a ton of screens so there s always something good playing. They have a whole lot of cashiers so there s usually not a line inside, but there s typically a line to buy tickets outside - it s much faster to buy tickets online and then just walk in. They also serve alcohol here now, which is a welcome addition.
The IMAX is always awesome but unless you are going to take advantage of it or seeing a short run film or special event the small theaters at Blackhawk or Crow Canyon are a better bet. The crowds are often crazy her and the seats are standard theater seats not the newer reclining seats at other theaters.
Great place to eat and go to the movies, I'd recommend fuddruckers it's amazing
I always enjoy my visits to this theater. This theater has plenty of parking, pleasant service, and it is much cleaner than other theaters. There are also a lot of kiosks inside for fast ticket purchase or printing. The bar inside serves hard liquor and beer, which is a nice perk. I believe that the drink limit is 3 per customer. I also recommend joining the Regal Crown Club as well. The points can be spent on free food, tickets, and merchandise. The theater also accommodates subtitles(open captioning) for deaf or hearing impaired.
Theater is good but any cooked food takes at least 15 minutes to be microwaved and brought out
Compared to other theatres in the area, crowded, small seats and way over priced 17 dollars per person for a ticket!
Saw Rise of Skywalker at the IMAX theater. Comfortable, but they were doing remodeling, so areas were closed off.
Great screens, concession lines are constantly long though. :(
Even with 5 new movie theatre recently prop itself up in the bay area, I still find myself coming back to this location more often. For someone like myself who don't go to movies often but when I do...I want comfort, quality and experience. This location has all three of that and then some! Let's jump to why this movie theatre stands out! IMAX IMAX AND IMAX. There are only three certified IMAX per say in the bay area with this location having the second largest screen. The first one would be the Metreon over in San Francisco. The stadium style slight curve seating and the comfort is top notch. Yes, I have seen a few other "imax" popped up but boy are they a disappointment. Feels more like a lie and the first time I got excited to drop by one of these so called "imax". I walked out, demanded my refund and went to the real deal the next possible chance I got. The second best type of movie experience would be the "Dolby Digital" movie and yes the sounds are narly in a good way. You also have plenty of dining options for those that are craving something else besides the usual popcorn n sugar softener. They are all located within lot as the movie theatre. There is a yummy buffet nearby but thats another 10 min drive and for those with sensitive stomach. I advise you avoid it at all cost unless you want to blow up and soil yourself in the middle of the movie.
This movie theater is fairly nice. The snacks were not overpriced while the quality of the snacks were ok. Not the best though. But in a pinch, this is acceptable.
Great place to watch movies. There's also choices of restaurants in and around the cinema to eat..
This theater thinks it's ok to allow families to bring their 5 year olds into a theater and be loud and talk as much as they want. It's incredibly rude and ruins the experience.
The concession stand is poorly managed, designed, and has no line control. Took me 30 minutes to get to the counter and order a simple popcorn and drink. So many lines and clearly not enough space for the employees to move around as they were bumping into each other gathering the food for the customers they were serving. For some reason too, some random employees would temporarily take over occupied stations then leave. Some of the workers were like deers in headlights and just standing around. The local AMC and Cinemark Theaters have a vastly superior system that cuts down the lines and moves people faster, until you pay for the food, of course. Also the seats are small and not meant for bigger people. I'm thin and were still cramped for me.
I would give a higher rating,, but the bar hours are so unpredictable and the bartender (the tall slim young guy) is so unfriendly. Other than that's it's a great place. The renovations are outstanding!!!
Good theater, but they make you reserve seats now for no good reason no matter what. It is really annoying
Payed $20 per ticket for a "premium theater" They were the same old seats they have always been in the same old theater they have always had. Absolutely nothing premium about it. Then sat watching the pre preview 20 minutes with my kids (we were there to see Spiderman) and had to cover my daughter's eyes because they were terrifying!! This was just all around awful. I only g2 stars because the staff was nice.
Movie theater is great! Huge facility with lots of stores and restaurants around. Made a day out of it for sure!
A rat ran across the floor during the showing of a kids film. My family was very displeased and couldn't really focus because we were concerned that it would run across our feet.
Great place to catch a flick. Hacienda always has the newest releases.
Had a 4 star ratings originally, -1 due to service. But to my surprise, I can't deny it anymore after getting a polite request to provide comments on it. Upgrading to 5 *****. Our kids love this place. Less to no wait times. Clean and neat theaters.
I enjoy that they play Tamil and other Indian movies here. Will they play the movie Bigil here?
We had a great experience at Regal. The seats were comfy and there was plenty of space between your seat and the one in front of you. Sound was great, and the food selection was pretty vast.
Clean, big cinema. Chairs are a little uncomfortable.
Clean lobby, auditorium and bathrooms. Great hustle at the concession stand. And they have a bar!
This is located in a very nice shopping complex. You can hang around here with family. The theatre amenities are standard.
It's a friendly place with nice seats and nice staff.
I love this movie theater and the service is outstanding
I always eat at on the border after watching a movie, highly recommend
Really bad layout for concessions, but the air conditioning worked and the seats are decent.
6 dollar puny hotdog...lines n concessions r ridiculous...smh at this place
This theater used to be well run, but in the last couple of years, it has just gotten worse and worse. I kept going back out of habit more than anything. However, tonight I broke my habit. The new seats are very uncomfortable. They re the ones that the backs recline on, but only if you apply constant pressure. Very uncomfortable. The last two times we ve been there we have had to leave the theater to go get someone to start the movie. The commercials and trailers lasted for at least 50 minutes. I completely lost interest in seeing the movie at that point and my husband and I left the theater and got our money back. We will probably go back for a special IMAX movie, but nothing else. The rest we can watch at Cinema West and The Vine in Livermore.
