Only issue I've had with this place is that they would not let me bring in my wallet with chain attached inside the venue. I found this absolutely ridiculous considering I've been to hundreds of concerts us flown on planes with it..and of course, there were others inside the venue wearing chains..seems as though there needs to be set guidelines for what and what can not be brought in.

Went there for Google IO 18, loved the vibe. You'll definitely need sunscreen of visiting in summer. Lots of open space. The ampetheatre is like half the size of a football stadium . I saw ATM signs all over but could not see an actual ATM machine.
Sound is very bad (loud but not clear) even in reserved seating area. Staff seems nice and professional. Free parking, but things are so poorly organized at the end of the event. Pedestrians, food vendors recklessly crossing traffic, cars going in different directions blocking each other. Expect an hour just to get out of the parking lot.
Parking is going to be an issue everywhere, but if you park about 20 minutes (walking) it is pretty decent. The venue is always great and the lawn is always a good value for the price/view/sound.
Totally confusing parking situation. The traffic control was non- existant considering the number of people at the venue. Took 35 minutes to get the 2.5 miles to the parking lot.
Great place to see a concert! Lots of food and beverage choices, fairly comfortable seats, lots of security. Generally easy to see and hear from most of amphitheatre. Technically there's no smoking but people still smuggle in weed. Haven't done lawn seating in 2 decades, prefer to have an assigned seat. Gets cool to cold at night being near the Bay. Bring a sweatshirt!
Great feel, great concerts, especially when you are out on the lawn. Drinks are a little pricey so maybe if you don't want to pay too much enjoy a few drinks before going into the venue
Great venue and entertaining atmosphere. During the concert break they "traffic controlled" the ladies bathroom, allowing relief quicker. Expect expensive drinks and cash only vendors. Ride share process needs improvement.
Large and clean bathrooms!! And they had a good selection of food at the event we attended (Paramore and Foster the People). The prices for the seats are good and any seat will still get u fairly close to the artist. They also have the lawn option and u can get a pretty nice spot if u get there early at the lawn.
Cheap concert tickets especially lawn seats. Good for big groups and something fun if just want to hangout but acoustics aren't that great and if you aren't a stoner can be tough to enjoy.
If you have a dog don't bother because the groundskeepers will chase you away. The kite field is a joke as there is broken glass on the sparse grass. I'll reiterate PETS are NOT allowed so forget about having a nice afternoon outing with them.
This is a great outdoor venue, it always has a big lawn with rental chairs always available, VIP areas, roaming water n food vendors ball park style. It also has the best motorcycle and Vip parking areas, good os over priced and not gourmet buy not total crap either. I liked the cheese steak sandwich. The drinks well vary, hard drinks r not great but there beers are good just waaayyy over priced which means only rich drinkers can get drunk n stupid. They due slack and fall short a bit when it comes their handicap visitors, sure they have spaces for parking unless you get caught in the traffic thats always present at large events and might end up in the back forty dirt lot waiting for what you hope is coming, a shuttle. It rarely does, at least i have never seen it. Then once you get in you have to check in so they can take you to your seat when they promise to return at some point for food drinks or bathroom help, but again they rarely if at all do. So if you not in special need you should be fine!
Really nice venue, a lot of big name bands come through here. However, my biggest problem with this place is the location and parking. Its really difficult to get in and out of there when there is an event. You are really stuck back in there.
Love this place due to the venue being outdoors. The set up is great for everyone to see along with huge screen tv's to see the stage as well. It def can get really crowded depending on who's performing so arrive early. If you sit in the grass area, lawn chairs are always best, if not comfy blankets you don't mind getting dirty n stepped on. Food is allowed which is a plus for me. I've seen great performers here so I'll def be back.
Center stage is huge but the seats are cramped and chances are you will be blocked by people sitting in the front.. either sit in the front few rows or in the lawn
