This is the worst amphitheater I have ever been to! After having a few frustrating experiences, I have finally learned my lesson! Never again will I see a show there.

The traffic in that area is already bad ... then you add event traffic and it's horrible. After hardly moving for about an hour -- 2 miles from the venue -- we turned around and didn't end up going to the show.

Venue is great. Pleased with multiple food & drink options but the general parking areas need more direction from lot personnel upon leaving. When we arrived we had several attendants guiding us row by row but when we were leaving it was a cluster of cars at a standstill for an hour. It would have been better to see the attendants with a row each to help direct the traffic to the single exit. In addition to that, open more exits routes for the mass of cars.

Took 5 hours from San Rafael to entrance of theater. Gridlock just getting from freeway off the exit. literally just sitting for 2 hours bumper to bumper. Why don't they have shuttle buses in strategic places so not 30,000 people in their private cars are trying to get to the same place? I believe they have that for some football games. I would be happy to pay for a shuttle rather than a parking spot i can't get out of at the end. We missed Doobie Bros and just got there when Santana started. Couldn't even pick up the chairs we pre-booked. So much money down the tubes and so much frustration and disappointment. Had to walk to very top to be able to even see the screen. thank goodness we got to eat our sandwiches while sitting in traffic. Still had to walk over half a mile to our car parked on a street (we risked getting a ticket not knowing if we can park in a bike lane). Santana was great. Too bad i was exhausted by the time he started playing. As an aside, i also detest when people leave their trash behind. Until they fix the traffic and parking situation, i am not coming back.

4th of July event was great. Parking, walking, entering and leaving the event went smooth despite the thousands of people and cars. However, drinks and food prices are unacceptable and I hope some goes to charity. $17 for beer and $15 for hot dog. Some of the fireworks pieces fell on the crowd, still hot and burning.

Loved the Pentatonix show! My only complaint is they didn't open the door until 1 hour before the show, so many missed the opening acts. 1 hr is never enough time to get everyone in the gates! Very poorly planned.

My husband and I went to see Train and The Goo Goo Dolls. It was amazing!!!!

We were on the lawn with rented lawn chairs. There were 2 mid size and 2 large screens so that those of us on the lawn could see the stage.

Lots of people, as expected. Being as everyone was excited, as the bands played, people stood. As the saying goes, "When in Rome, Do As The Romans Do," We stood.

It's very organized, clean, directional signs are clearly displayed so you find your way.

Other than people standing, food being tooooo expensive, we had an awesome time. We'll be back, but next time we'll purchase tickets for the seats.

Kudos to all the staff.

Pros:

Pros:
- Sound quality is great, even in the lawn area
- Fun place to enjoy great music and it's nice that you can spread out and have a picnic
- There are food trucks as well as stadium/ballpark-style food, so there's a good variety of eating options
Cons:
- Very slow security to get into the venue
- Transportation, whether parking, getting dropped off, or walking from nearby all suck.
- Drinks are ridiculously expensive (think $20 for a mojito, $14 for a beer)

It's ok. It's a classic Bay Area venue, but it has a lot of issues that make it "meh". The lawn seats are kind of lame and the amphitheatre seats feel kind of restricting for a rock concert.
The sound quality outside of the actual amphitheatre itself kind of sucks and you pretty much can't see the stage at all. There's no public transportation to and from the venue and it's located way down in the heart of Silicon Valley traffic hell.

Great place to listen to music and have fun. Problem arises in 2 occasions. 1) food isn't great yet costs arm and a leg as for all types of entertainment establishments. 2) they around some areas which makes no sense and make you go around unreasonably longer alternative routes instead of letting you through. For example i was literally next seat from one of these ropes. So you would think I'd be allowed to pass by to go to the bathroom. Was i ? Nope. Instead i had to go up a bunch of stairs, around the corner over to the bathroom.

I really like this venue. I've seen a couple shows / festivals here and like the layout. I appreciate the assigned seating for the headliners and wide walking paths all over the place. Although it's a little lacking in shade it consistently cools down even on the hottest of evenings. I despise the beat up dirt road leading to the rear parking lot entry. That's incredibly annoying for anyone with a car. C'mon Shoreline, pave that! Or, at least, throw down some DG and hard pack that.

I was there for the Google IO 2018, certainly a nice place, the places in the shade are not many, however, on the other hand, the possibility of being on the lawn is priceless. The acoustics are not the best in my opinion but acceptable

I completely agree with the review from Lisa French's review. (She posted 5 days before my review)
I would add that the lawn area is oversold and very crowded. I had been to many Dead shows in the 90's and didn't remember it being so crowded.
Leaving the parking lot was a disaster. No traffic control. Just Google traffic in China and you will get the picture.
I will never go back to shoreline. Well maybe not never. I would only go back if I have vip access and reserved seats.

The staff here is A+++!
My mom is new to being on a wheelchair & it's a very hard experience for her. This was her first concert having to use a wheelchair so we were both nervous about navigating in and out of the Dead & Company show. The staff was extremely accommodating to my mother & never made her feel like a bother. In fact one of the staff members escorted us out of the stadium & was just such a great person overall. I wish I could remember his name but he mentioned he had worked there since the 90s and had a grateful dead patch on his shoulder.

Such a great outdoor venue! I usually attend outdoor concerts at Toyota Amphitheatre in Wheatland, so I was expecting Shoreline to be the same. It is SO much better! Fast lines, cute drinks, food trucks, cooler temperatures. I'll def be back!

It's a great venue in a lot of ways but there are a few significant drawbacks.
The parking set up and not well organized, and directions aren't clear, additionally exiting gets very congested so plan for it to take a solid hour to get out afterward.
At the show I went to the volume was too low for the first few songs up until the entire lawn section started chanting 'turn it up!'. I think there are noise restrictions in place and that can make for a disappointing show.
Other than that it's a great venue in a nice area.

Great place to see a show. Lots of free parking. May take a while to get out after the show. Assigned seating in the lower section are nice, but also has huge GA lawn area for blankets and low back chairs. You can rent the lawn chairs there if you don't have your own.

Came here for fourth of July fireworks and concert on the lawn. Amazing fireworks show with the orchestra playing. It doesn't get better than this. The only reason for the 3 stars is that it took us ONE and a HALF HOURS to exit the parking lot. The team that organizes this MUST fix the HORRIFIC traffic when exiting.
