I stayed here a couple of nights for a weekend trip. In a one bedroom (king bed) studio cottage with a jacuzzi tub in the bathroom. The cottage was a duplex, but it wasn't an issue. The place is clean, comfortable and quiet.
Very quant and exceptionally clean. Bathroom a bit small but other than that a nice quiet room. Pool also very clean. Nice beach only minutes away. will come back!

The pictures on the website are NOT accurate. Stayed in a small room with a really small bathroom. The bathroom sink was practically on top of the toilet and the shower was filthy. The room was damp and had a stench of mold. The floors were uneven and you had to fight with the lock and throw yourself up against the door in order to get in. It was always jammed. The beach is a mile walk and is really not that nice. If you have small children be very careful as guests pull in the parking area off of route 9 and do not slow down. There is a keurig coffee maker in the office and don't expect to get the muffin or yogurts advertised. Go camping!!
I had a fantastic experience here!! The owners were so friendly and accommodating and the suite was clean and very comfortable! The owner gave us a ride into town when we couldn t get a taxi and the rest of the staff was so warm too. Will definitely be coming back!
Our stay here was enjoyable. Very clean. Apparently they have been doing renovations and our cabin was adorable inside and out. Looks like most of the cottages have been redone. 2 queen beds were very comfy. Small fridge and coffee maker and stove top available.Full bath with good water pressure.Everything was in good working order. Sparkling pool and well kept grounds with gorgeous flowers. Best part was a free parking beach across the street. My new favorite beach. Stunningly beautiful! Limited parking there but it was only a 5 minute walk at most from our cottage. The owner was very attentive to our needs and friendly. Pets were allowed. I didn't bring mine but will next time as I definitely will be coming back. Thanks Sonja for a wonderful stay!
Quaint. No frills. Close to where you want to be but not in the middle of the busyness. Make sure you walk to the beach across the street in the morning!
Great location near a beautiful and quiet beach. The cottages were kind of small and the carpet was damp, but for the price and location..it's a minor inconvenience
Hosts are very kind and extremely helpful for both requests and problems, and also for suggestions of what to do during the staying and in particular after the overnight. Apartments where well cleaned. We stayed in a small apartment for two people. I read that somebody complaints about smallness of shower space, it is true but enought for a fast shower, if needed outside there is jakuzi and a swimming pool. If I pass there I would stay there again.
Ps: very tasty coffee with yoghurt and muffins for breakfast.
Very Dirty! Wet and moldy. The rug was very dirty and wet. The bathroom had visible mold on the ceiling. The shower is so small you cant even wash yourself properly. Bathroom window is unable to open so there was no way to dry the bathroom. To sum it up everything was wet, FIlTHY, and moldy. I had my 1 year old baby and it was horrifying watching her on the disgusting floor and touching things. I had to try to hold her or keep her on the bed during my whole stay. Toilet seat is broken. The lady behind the desk was quiet and nice, but the place is just disgusting. I thought it was a reasonable price but after staying, it was not worth it. Being affordable is not worth living in flith.
We came as a family of 4 and I was in a room with my brother and my parents to were in separate room....each motel is small with a little kitchen and bathroom....it's definitely not 5 stars but I gave it 4 because it is about 2 mins from the beach and the beach is excellent...the beds are okay and the pool is fantastic
Never got to stay here at the women who took my reservation told us that we could have the package located on their website. I am not going to go into all the details but told us in an email confirmation that we she never told us that, (but was happy to charge my card for one night) She stated she was too tired to deal with it. Do not ruin you time in beautiful Maine staying here. Her name was SONYA and she is clueless about hospitality and making it right. She could have come up with some kind of compromise but she basically stated she did not care. DO NOT STAY HERE.
We stayed in cottage #8 and booked through the owner on facebook (search Shorebreezes cottage in Kennebunk Maine) and got discount. Everything was clean and cozy and newly renovated, with all new furniture and memory foam beds. TVs in both bedrooms and main room. Loved the beachy theme, kitchen was a little small. The beds were comfortable and there are 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms. Sleeps about 8 people. There is a nice walk to the beach, about 8 minutes, and a nice trolley to take us into town. I will definately stay here again. Great location and place to stay in. Parson Beach is simply gorgeous and never crowded.
Pets are not allowed on this unit.
Doesn't even deserve one star. Not a nice place to stay. Room smelled like mold. We would never stay here again or recommend this place to stay anyone.
The shore lands as a facility is quite nice. The cottages are quaint, cute, and functional. My experience was only marred by the patronizing attitude of the owner. Aside from that, they charge for extras like towels and sheets cleaned outside of their "one per three days" policy. We also specified that we wanted a queen bed, but were given full. When asked, we were told that the bed was a queen and we must be mistaken. We have a queen bed at home and it seemed quite obvious to us that it was a full mattress.
I stayed here at the last minute this past labor day weekend. I was grateful to snag a room, only days before needing it. They were friendly on the phone. This place is cozy, quiet and located conveniently by food and cute shops. I loved the general feel of the property and cottage. The lady who was there when we checked in was quiet, dismissive and appeared bothered by us checking in. The internet wasn't working on any of my 3 devices. When I asked her, she stated she didn't know and that it hadn't been working recently. No apologies or trouble shooting. That sucks. Then when I checked out in the morning, the woman (different from the evening) was so rude. She was on her computer and barely looked at me. No "how was your visit?" or "Good morning" I had to greet her in such a way as if I was pulling it out of her. When I told her about the internet issue (just to make her aware) and her response was "ok." I was EXTREMELY displeased with the service. I will NOT be recommending this place OR coming back. I was treated like a scum bag, probably how they treat tourists. I am from Bangor and love to travel. So... their loss! even if I have paid 500.00 for a room in the most beautiful place... customer service means EVERYTHING!
Wonderful resort. Very clean, excellent, polite staff. Met the owner who is a wonderful lady with excellent local knowledge and great resource for activities. Has a pool and playground for kids and is pet friendly. Highly recommend!
I had a great time/stay at Shorelands. It was very clean and perfect for our little vacation. The walk to the beach was awesome,,,saw horses, bunch of wild flowers and walking through the sea roses to the beach was a treat as well.
Everyone was nice and we got a good rest. Thank you for having us, definitely will return.

It was nice, the rooms weren't anything special but the people who worked at the 'resort' are very welcoming and pleasant to work with. My only complaint is the wifi is awful. Other than that it's a very nice little place.

Price not worth the cottage we rented. Way over priced. Bathroom was very small & dirty. Toilet seat broken, shower curtain had mold. Shower water went from hot to cold while showering. Hard to get in front door as you needed two hands More

Out of the way in between Kennebunk and Wells. About a ten minute walk to Parsons Beach. Shower was tiny with poor water pressure. Couldn't even get enough water to wash sand off my body. Room was clean, mattress was worn out. It's by no means the Ritz, but it's affordable, and conveniently located 5-10 minutes away from Kennebunkport and Wells.
Cutest boutique hotel. Doll house rooms,very different from your average hotel room or cottage. Decorated and clean. Comes with beach access. Very family friendly.
After I booked my reservation, I received notification that there is construction on the property. I have made SEVERAL attempts to reach someone who can tell me what kind of construction that might affect my trip and no one is responding. I have left two voicemails, sent an email and a direct message through Facebook. I really wish someone would respond to my inquiries.
Very dirty, there were visible stains on bedsheet and cobwebs in all the room corners. There was mold in the air conditioners. The room had many bugs so we had to wear citronella bracelets while sleeping due to mosquitos. There were no batteries in the fire detector! Excessively overpaid for such a low quality room due to high summer demand.
This resort is an excellent little spot close to the charming Lower Village of Kennebunkport. One of the best features about this resort is that it is less than half a mile away from the beautiful Parson's Beach, making it an ideal location for those who don't want to struggle to find parking. Shorelands is a great destination for families; with an outdoor pool, a hot tub, a playground, grill equipment, and larger units available, this resort is the perfect place to bring the whole family for vacation. Another unique feature about Shorelands is that a number of the units allow pets, making it possible for you to bring your favorite furry friend along on your family vacation. The staff at Shorelands are very helpful and friendly, as well.
I had a great stay here. Just stayed one night and it was nice to have a small kitchen to use. It rained at night so the TV was great. I got in some beautiful walks and visited family. The walk to Parsons Beach is really a nice one. Very comfortable stay.
