Shore Meadows Rehab & Nursing Review

It's okay but not a five but not A5 definitely needs more help.

I was put in here because I had been told by the hospital I was COVID 19 free . I was put here for a 14 day quarantine. I have been treated alright but the CNA'S r either have too many patients or something but I couldn't get one to come to my room unless I walked to the end of the hall. My call button doesn't work right. Now that my roommate came back I see them all the time , what's up with that ? I'm still here so I hope they don't take offense, I have MS & I can't even get a wheelchair cause I can walk & stand a little , I'm trying to exercise my lungs but it's hard , I haven't seen a therapist either. So my opinion is it's not a good place to rehab from what I've seen. So draw your own conclusions I am ambivalent.

Been to this place many times to visit my brother. The people are nice to me - and my brother says the same. The facility is clean and my brother likes the food. The patients have quite a bit of autonomy to move about and the care given has made a difference in the life of my brother. If you're considering this place - stop by and speak to the staff and some of the patients. This should help you determine if the specifics of this facility meet the needs of your loved one.

I deliver meds , the nurses there respects your time by coming to pick up the meds quickly. This comment is for the night nurses, I have never been there during the day so I have no idea how good they are in response to come to the desk and collect the meds.

This nursing home is terrible they don t provide the basic care or take care of their patients primary needs. My grandmother is bedridden and they allowed her to sit in a soiled diaper for hours on end they didn t bathe her or even clean her face. She was in this facility for less than two weeks when we had to get removed and set her up some place else. Do not allow your loved ones to enter this facility.

This for those who are thinking of putting there mothers or father or grandparents in a facility please read the reviews before you make the mistake of putting them in a hell hole.the reviews that you read are actually true we live them with my mother so please consider before you do. I gave them one star to be nice but they dont even deserve it.

Please. I advice all families that are looking for a rehab center for their loved ones. DO NOT bring them here. This place is a sad and up hauling example of a nursing home. They still use cloth briefs because they are too cheap to put the money out to get normal ones. Which by the way cloth briefs cause more sores. They have age old furniture in the rooms. Their is constant neglect as far as residents go. AIDS leave the residents in soaking wet beds for hours on end. Also they don t treat wound care properly. This place needs to be shut down by the state. They also have gym mats on the floors so in case a resident falls. That is not the proper mats to use. Please again. Don t send them here.

Negligent incompetent Staff, The facility should be shut down. All staff should be tried as criminals for facilitating negligence, and not following patient care orders.

Almost all positive reviews especially Facebook are made by staff, or friends/family of staff!

These five stars are for Mr Robert McGee who has given me my life back!!! My birthday is tomorrow and I couldn t have gotten a better birthday blessing, Mr McGee thank you so very much for your understanding and HELP! I must say that this place really had me extremely worried with my mothers care. She was there short of 2 weeks and my heart was broken to place her in a facility to begin with.
I really thought that my concerns would of been at ease, but unfortunately it was not!
My mother was not cared for as she of been!
Basic care for needs should be a priority, waiting for hours to get cleaned is unacceptable.
This place is not a place where you would want to place your loved ones at!
