Shogun's of Fayetteville Review

The food is excellent here, but a little pricey. We can get the same food at lunch for half the price, so we go at lunch. Love the ginger dressing on the salads!

just finished having a birthday dinner for my 22 year old daughter. I have eaten all over the world and just want to say that the food, service and atmosphere was great. The service from the Chef and Waitress was phenomenal. Additionally this one chef cooked for 14 people on two flat tops and the service was awesome along with the food!!! Would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone!!!

Awesome food and presentation!!! It is a bit spendy!!! Great ambience. Beats samurai and miyabi's hands down. It's a bit away from the "beaten path" so to speak. Worth the trip!

We tried the beef empanadas, cubanito, and arroz con pollo. It was DELICIOUS!!! Highly recommend! The food was hot (temp) and very flavorful and generous portions!

Food & cook were great but the server was just okay & my husband orderd sushi and didn't get it until we were almost done eating. This was AFTER I chased someone down to get it.

It's probably the best hibachi restaurant in the area. Price : average for that type facilities.
Portions: huge, we have tried many many different hibachi places. Unlike other places,this one offers a lot of food.
Clean with very nice decor. Definitely recommend.
Now, sushi are ok as well. The only reason why I say ok because we cane from pacific islands and unfortunately upper 48 states can't offer good sushi with the price range 20-35 dollars per roll.

Ordered 4 sushi rolls got them fast and staff was very helpful. Great having places that are kids friendly with good service.

Love their sushi menu and they always have a deal going on, they even accommodate my daughter and offer recommendations she will eat. I've done Teppanyaki here a few times as well and it was nice, they have very personable chefs.

Good food. Large servings, reasonable prices, friendly servers.

Customer service was great. The cook interacted a lot and was extremely kind. I would recommend them.

Fantastic rolls and great service. The bathrooms could have been a little cleaner and that's the only reason for the four stars.

Don't let the strip mall location fool you, this place is exquisite, with an authentic atmosphere, and a attentive and prompt service staff. Amazing presentation and prices to fit all budgets. Best sushi in Fayetteville by far.

I haven t been here in few years but I came back and my family and I loved it. Shogun still have the standards for hibachi and most definitely have the best sushi s and sashimis. See y all real soon again

I dont often review anything but i felt that this place warrented a nice review.
The staff was kind and welcoming.
The prices were really good, i mean the portions were massive! For a price youd expect to get much less at.
The food itself was really good,i didnt have any habachi ,just sushi but, it was better than any ive ever had. That isnt much,but more importantly i enjoyed every piece.
The presentation was something a upscale place would have,my meal came with a 1 foot tall ice sculture sticking out of the top.garnished with a konk shell and some fake plant and a few real flowers. With some sushi in the bowl with all that and the main dish below equally well presented.

Its a shame i live out of state. Its really a nice place,id go again if i could.

Went with friends for my wife's birthday and normally this place is pretty good but not this time. Chef messed up on our orders and never fixed it. I wish I took a photo of how much food I actually got for a $23 plate.. I got fed a kids meal. I tried to talk to the chef but he just smiled.. then I called the manager and examined what happened. She told me she would make sure I got a different chef next time but that doesnt make up for the $100 we spent last time. May not go back over this.

Wood have given 5 stars, food was great portions were small compared to the other Japanese steakhouses.

They are just amazing...The presentation is awesome, the employees are all nice and want to make sure all your needs and concerns are handled during your visit..Food is EXCELLENT...For the amount of food you are getting, the price is more than worth it...I highly recommend this wonderful place...Atmosphere is amazing as well...Price is perfect...

Beautiful sashimi entree, I loved the sushi. My wife and I will be going back.

I grew up about 3 hours from Fayetteville and still have a handful of family living there. Still I wouldn't wish Fayetteville, NC upon anyone. However, if you do find yourself in this tiny place where the current year has always been just a tiny speck of a blimp on the radar...stop in Shogun's for some amazing food and an escape from the outside world, even if just for a few hours. My apologies. No pics this time. I was so hungry and the food was so good that I forgot to even take one!

Had a lovely date here; very clean, fun, and food was perfect. We had hibachi and added a fried cheesecake for dessert.

Here we go. Just walked out of there after they gave my to-go order to another customer. After that they told me that they would remake my order and I was cool with that. About a minute later someone comes out and tells me they are out of filet. Which is what I ordered. Here's what really got me sideways. There was no apologies, no remorse, and no offer to keep me as a customer. I don't expect the world but give me something for your mistake. Hell, just an apology. Will never return and will let everyone I know not to do business with them. Terrible customer service. Too expensive when Myabi is just as good and right down the street and it seems like they actually care about people.

The sushi was excellent as was the service. The cook did not read the order ticket and gave my food to another person and the cart was not stocked with all items needed to prepare the meal. I will not return.

Yummy and fresh sushi paired with good customer service. The take out is also really fast. Huge portions of the grilled food and good cuts of sashimi.

Great atmosphere & food. Be forewarned, their birthday drum celebration is a bit intrusive, but still fun to see. The waitress did not speak great English, but she was very nice & very attentive.

Best hibachi in Fayetteville! Great atmosphere, clean, attentive host and wait staff. We arrived 10-15 mins after early bird hours and the wait staff still showed us the early bird specials and allowed us to order them regardless of the fact it was a little late. Our drinks were served quickly and our chef arrived minutes after we ordered. The food was great. Hands down it is the best tasting hibachi that we have had in Fayetteville. Our drinks were always full and the waiter was very attentive.
