We started of renting our house and then became aware that we could purchase it. We were a newlywed couple and didn't really have any credit and had been turned down by lots of lending companies. They worked with us and financed the house to us. They give you a few years to get the house refinanced through an actual lending company. Very nice and have always worked with us if we needed something. We have been in our house for 5 years now.

This is a great business. Just make sure you don't have Melissa Mosley as your property manager. I have never had to deal with such a rude dishonest property manager EVER. She seems nice at first but she will lie to you even when u have proof!! She doesn't deserve to work there. Otherwise, I'd give the company 5 stars. I will never do business with them again as linger as she works there.

I have called several times and left messages for the owner David Shipman to call me back about a commercial property. I receive the same response every time, he s in a meeting . When I finally did get to talk to him, I m told he would check and call me back. Never heard anything back!

Melissa was Awesome to work with, she is professional, kind and has a wonderful personality, she does not treat inquiring tenants like dollar signs, she listened and shared in real conversation and never seemed urgent to move along. She made the whole process so smooth as if speaking to a loving family member eager to assist. You can't get better then that!!! Thank You Melissa!

Nice place I have been here for 3 years great for my family and my work. Quiet neighborhood. the management is great always available kind and honest. Clean, landscape great. The apartments well designed great location.

Between myself and my business partner, we called over 10 times inquiring about a property. Every time we called we were told the person who handles the commercial listings was in a meeting. They took our name and number and told us to expect a call back. We never got a call. I was once told that they would hand deliver my message to the owner when he was out of his meeting and still never received a call back. I called once again to set up a time to see this particular property and was told he would call me after lunch. Never heard back. I called again to follow up the next day and was told he was going to call me in the afternoon. Imagine this...no call. I was wondering how such a great building in such a prime location was still available. If I had to guess, it is because they are impossible to get a hold of. I was really interested in this property but if this is how they handle their business then I guess I will take my business elsewhere.

Shipman Companies is awesome, I have rented from them since 2010 a few different properties. They are always friendly and efficient....David, Melissa, Cindee and especially Nicole

Me and my family was excited to move 3hrs away from our hometown to Cleburne duplexes but throughout the process Cindee had TERRIBLE communication! It took days for her to respond back via email and when we did get her on the phone she was so dismissive, over talked, and rudely tried to raise her voice. She communicated not only with me this way but also my sister and mother about our simple concerns and this is after we paid her a deposit. Thank God we got our money back after she lied about it being non refundable, she lied to all three of us on multiple occasions. Definitely didn't want to continue doing business with someone if we couldn't ask simple questions, VERY UNPROFESSIONAL LADY!

This management company is ridiculous. Cindee has refused to help the elderly residing in the Johnson apartments and Cleburne duplexes. Repairs request have been made the proper way, follow up calls have been made and documented. Several of the residents in these units are on a fixed income and need their homes they pay for to be up to code. Flooded units from the pipes busting, not getting Sheetrock replaced only left to dry on its own, multiple residents with plumbing issues due to roots, disgusting carpets and a long list of other issues. They will continue to lose residents. Please my advice look elsewhere before renting any property this company manages.
