Shin Wellness Review

This is a family focused practice. Everyone here is sincere, caring and professional. I thoroughly enjoy coming to perform Massage Therapy here.

This place is absolutely amazing. Karen and Maria are positively delightful! Dr. Wendy Gallego is a Godsend. I was dealing with Severe lower back pain from several herniations for years before finding Shin wellness. Coming here not only saved my career in the military, it saved my life.

If I could give 10 stars I would. This clinic sets the standard for true patient care. One year ago, I managed to collapse the disc of L5/S1 and could barely walk. Doctors were telling me I needed surgery but that was the last thing I wanted to do so I did loads of research and learned about Spinal Decompression as an alternative. I found a couple places in Miami but after calling and speaking to Maria at Administration, who organized a remote call for me with Dr. Gallego, I knew this was where I wanted to be treated so I flew to Miami. I was in pretty bad shape with the disc just sitting on my spinal cord but Dr. Gallego was not deterred and put together a package of treatments to bring a resolution to my situation. She was reassuring, encouraging, kind and thoughtful. She is the most gentle Chiropractor I have ever come across and possesses a lovely energy. She explained EVERYTHING and made sure I was prepared for the process. She also recommended another amazing doctor who did some pain management work with me. The entire experience at Shin was exceptional. l Ioved coming into the office for my treatments! The use of technologies like cold laser, DRX, PEMF and computer aided spinal adjustments allows for a higher rate of success and better outcomes for patients. But, what stands out is the most is the synergy amongst the team; Shin has something truly special and I have experienced it first hand. Top class facilities and technology, yes, but Dr. Gallego, Julio, Chad, Maria and Karen all bring their own unique contributions and the result is a perfect recipe for success, for patients and the team. After a few months going to Shin, I had my life back...I went from a wheel chair, to fully back on my feet and enjoying my life again, pain free. Thank you Shin Wellness! I love you all!

I came to Shin a broken man, barely able to walk, thinking I needed to have surgery to fix my back. I looked like an 80 year old man in the body of a 30 year old.

No one I spoke to could help me, but right away when I met Dr Gallego, I felt like I was with someone that wanted and more importantly COULD help me.

After using the DRX machine for a few weeks I was back on my feet. It was amazing, I could walk straight up again, and getting up and down didn't make me want to kill myself anymore.

All the staff at Shin are really great. They are super friendly, and make you feel at home.

I fully recommend them to anyone with back trouble, without them I would probably still be hobbling around like an 80 year old.

I have visited many Chiropractors over the past 30 years, some good and some not so good. Dr. Wendy Gallego is among the very best. You never feel "rushed" at Shin and Dr Gallego takes the time to really understand the cause of your problem and discuss it with you. As a result, I find that her adjustments have an immediate effect and can resolve my problems (usually sports injuries) in a limited number of visits. For people with more serious or chronic problems, one can get a discount for a package of visits. In contrast to some places, there is no pressure at Shin Wellness--I come back because I get what I need and only what I need. there is only one negative: Chiropactic care is not available on Saturday-Monday.

This place is spectacular! Wendy is such a fantasic chiropractor! Everyone who works here is so friendly and kind- you almost feel as if they are part of your family. I highly recommend this facility!!!!!

Shin Wellness is amazing! I recently completed decompression for my neck that included visits three times a week for several months. It was a great experience and Dr. Gallego is outstanding.

I came to Dr. Rassoul with so much shoulder pain and I could barely move my arm up much less hold anything that weighed more then a cup of water. In the first treatment I can now lift my arm almost all the way up and I feel so much better. Dr Sam is the best! Thank you so much

Thanks to @shinwellness. My son, Marcus, was breeched in the womb for many months and as a result had a bit of crick in his neck when he was born. He wasn't turning it to the left or keeping his head straight, but after a few session @shinwellness my baby boy is rocking and a rolling. Now he is turning his head both ways and even looking straight ahead.

Terrible place. Psychologists are unprofessional and violate basic code of ethics.

Thanks to a couple of auto accidents, I got to see Shin up close for quite a while. Dr. Wendy is an exceptional person and a great chiropractor and the rest of the staff are some of the best in the field. Whether it's acupuncture with Chad or physical therapy with Cyndee, a massage or just a plain adjustment. I was always given very professional and effective treatment.

The atmosphere Dr. Wendy has created is very relaxing and is a testament to her excellent skills.

I had severe back pain for years. I was pulling my back every other week. I was in fear of picking up anything heavy or even helping out around the house worrying that I might pull my back. On a scale of 1 - 10 my pain was a 10. I use to be a basketball player and go Kayaking all the time. My back pain took my quality of life down to 0 at the age of 27. After going on a 2 month treatment plan by Dr. Gallego I could not believe the recovery my body had. She fixed my back and I could not be more grateful. I now have no back pain. She gave me my life back. I highly recommend anyone with back pain to see her. Don't be fooled by other chiropractors, I have tried them. She is the real deal. She can help you.

Shin and everyone at Shin has improved my quality of life for way over 10 years. It is hard to find a constant in Miami and the excellent service and experience have always been there for me at Shin Wellness. I love the way I feel while there and when I leave, always looking forward to my next visit.

I have a large frame and I used to drive to Pembroke Pines to see a chiropractor as it can be difficult to find someone having the healing hands able to manage bigger guys. A lot of my firefighting comrades would go, walk in hunched over in pain and walk out normally. His office closed. It was not easy to find another until I found Dr. Sam Rassoul at Shin Wellness in Miami. He's very knowledgeable, listens to you, formulates his treatment plan and has the capable and magic healing hands to get you back in service, corrected, back on the bike, or just back to normal. It took a while to find another chiropractor who was capable and effective and provided what I needed and didn't push for more. I'm retired now and when I need a correction, a tweak and some occasional maintenance because I'm kinda worn down from the years, I take a short ride down the street to Shin Wellness for what ever I need to keep the machine running smooth. Thanks Dr. Rassoul and Dr. Wendy...So glad your there.

Dr. Gallego is one of the few Chiropractic Physicians that has healed my body for the past 8 years. My back has been damaged from September 11 and of all the medical doctors that I continue to see, she is the only one that heals my body. No strong pain killers etc., has ever been recommended by her. She truly listens to me and then uses her knowledge of neurology and biomechanics to heal my body. There is no doubt that she continues to improve the quality of my life.

Awesome wellness center in Miami. They offer tai chi, acupuncture, massage and chiropractic services. One of the few centers with a DRX machine.

I have been a Patient of Shin Wellness for over 3 years. Dr. Gallego is amazing she takes her time in her treatments and makes sure that you understand why she is recommending the treatments. Shin Wellness got me from awful lower back pain. Pain that would not allow me to enjoy any of my hobbies. Today I am back playing Golf with a 3 handicap and going down.
She has gotten me back to playing competitive golf. This means playing 3 day events. Playing three days in a row was never easy before my lower back Injury. After my Injury I never thought I would ever play competitive golf again. Playing 3 days in row Today is still tough because the warm up time is longer and very important.
