Shiloh Bar and Grill Review

First visit here, great location near campus. Amazing grilled chicken w/ bacon sandwich. Priced really well, $11 for a big sandwich, fries and a drink? Anyday. Definitely recommend. Delicious food and cool atmosphere. TVs all around for sports, and a bar of course.

Enjoyed our time on the patio eating some pretzel bites & Hawaiian Pizza (crust is excellent). A great place to chill & enjoy good company & good food.

Best place to go in Columbia if you're looking for a more relaxed atmosphere away from the crazy "college bar" scene. Best place for watching the games each season, all season long. Wait staff is fun and friendly, and always has a smile on their face. Proud to be a regular here!

Great place if you want to drink a warm beer, after 40 minutes you ordered it, surrounded by cockroaches! Poor hygiene conditions, slow service and insects everywhere! A dream!

Special said $3 import drafts but Guinness is $4?! Then barman said Heineken was $3 and charged me $4.50.

I so appreciate the good weather and the patio here. Else the inside is a good spot, good bartenders. Always meet my friends here and grab a burger or sandwich.

Usually has good drink specials and good music playing. Lots of staff to help get your drinks and food to you. If it s a nice day you can sit out on the patio. We ve even brought our dogs there that are well behaved.

Very disappointing, if you offer one price for an appetizer you don't change it or charge more when you receive the bill. Lots were disappointed last night, and still gave a genuis gratuity.

Other than the patrons who can't seem to hold their beer very well this place is awesome.

Great food. Kitchen is slow to get food out even when it is slow. Servers not entirely friendly but do a good job. Soda watered down.

Fun place in Columbia, MO, close yo campus. Good food for lunch and plenty of it ! Loaded Baked Potato soup was excellent!, should of ordered the ' bowl' size.!

I am a huge fan of the Hawaiian Chicken sandwich. The flavor is amazing and the portion is very good.

Drinks were great and food was fantastic. Service was top notch as well.

Have been here several times for lunch. Service and food were great. However, today we waited 20minutes on the patio, watched the servers come in and out, even made eye contact, still, 20 minutes later, no service. We left. it's a shame as we were starting to like the place...

Decent overall experience. Went at a slow time. Waitress was friendly and the bbq sliders were decent. Sweet Tea was the mix syrup kind.

We were there for a social there's probably about 40 people and one waitress, and I didn't like the ribs too dry and tough

Fun location and competitive pricing. Wait staff is usually excellent but sometimes you get a waitress more interested in talking with her friends at another table instead of providing adequate service.

Everyone was awesome until rude upsetting disrespectful personally disturbed manager completely exhibited unprofessional behavior that not only made me feel as if I was a nucence but intolerable. If it wasn't for the best bartender and staff I would have no hope for this place. Thank you staff for sticking up for me, but I'm upset that you all were used to her abuse and total control of a bar that I was so glad to be at.

Great food, great waitresses, great place. But they advertised deals social media and as soon as I got there deleted them. I tried to talk to the manager about it and showed them a screenshot of the advertisement, and all he said was Sorry man it is what it is. Turned my $2 whiskey cokes into $6.50 whiskey cokes when I got my bill. Great place, but management needs help.

Solid sports bar with one glaring issue. Soda fountain has been on the fritz for almost two years.. Carbonated beverages are always flat. Staff always aplogizes and acknowledges the issue. Management does nothing about it

We recently had dinner and drinks at Shiloh Bar and Grill as we were looking for a sports bar in which to watch a playoff hockey game while in Columbia visiting our son at Mizzou. This place was great...lots of TVs, great food, cold beer, and just enough people our age to make it feel like we weren't the only old fogies in this college-town bar. And we received awesome service...each new beer was delivered with a fresh frosty mug.

The service was exceptional. Thanks for good pizza and wings.

Wanted to go in for lunch to have some food with my friends, I got asked for my ID at the door and turned away when there were clearly kids seated inside. Pretty disappointed that it didn't have that listed anywhere on the website.

My first time there Columbia is amazing in itself but Shiloh a great place to go

Wife was able to get a burger on a gluten free bun, which is always a plus. They put a little different spin on their Cuban, which I had and it was very good. Overall, a very good experience.

Not a bad spot to gather for lunch/dinner with a good selection of appetizers. Prices and food are fair, while the drink specials tend to be subpar.

Standard bar and grill fare. The game day menu is a bit weak, although the chicken wings were very good. The game volume on the TV was way too loud. It was difficult to talk to someone across the table from me.

Great place to go for some boneless wings on a Thursday! Great staff and the manager is super nice with a great staff.

OMG! I'm so late doing this review! I visited this Bar & Grill while I was in Columbia with my siblings who go to M I Z Z O U! and after a good night of drinking, the Shiloh Burger that I ate at this restaurant literally put me straight to sleep. It was DELICIOUS, MOUTH WATERING, & BURSTING WITH FLAVORS! Like I hate eating red meat but this burger was one of the best burgers I think I've ever ate. I was blown away by the service and it was just a overall wonderful experience. Thank You!

Nice lunch specials under $10. Steak one day, ribs the next. Can make a good Arnold Palmer.

Pretty friendly staff, cool building, nice patio during nice weather.

The music has always been good. But. If only it wasn't quite so loud. Food is fine (not memorable, but good) and mixed drinks are strong. Servers did a great job.

Food was above average, Staff were curtious without being in your face. Ambiance was nice for lunch, however this is a sports bar and grill, so if there is a big game on you should expect sports. Shiloh has another side though. A great restaurant with great food and prices. Give it a try. I enjoyed it.

Had the veggie pizza. For fresh veggies, that was a very bland pizza.

The drinks were good, the portions were a good size for the price! We had pretty good service (it was slow in the restaurant so I don't know how the service is when they're busy). The food was okay. We will go back.

I was reminded how good this place was. I haven't been in a long time. I went for lunch, it was clean, and tasty.
I had the Tuna Pesto Feta sandwich. It was very good! A little overcooked, but some people get weird about medium fish. It was still great!

Let me start off by saying they were not that busy during the time I was attending this bar. The service sucked. Our waitress barely visited our table, food is way more Expensive than it is worth, and she was annoyed anytime we asked for something. I watched our waitress stand and chit chat with her other waitress friends while we were waiting on some food to be delivered. The food sat on a tray near her getting cold durning her Oh so important 8 minute conversation. I attend Thursday night Trivia at this bar and I will not be purchasing any food anymore.
Their alcoholic drinks are very light handed I was served and amaretto sour that had very little alcohol in it.
And when the night was over and we ask for our $100 check, we had separate cash to give for the tip as well as the check itself. I handed the money directly to the waitress and stated this is your tip money this is the money we are paying with please bring us the change for the money we are paying with. The waitress never brought us back the $10 in change that we were owed. We had to involve a manager and advise them what had happened because the waitress at that time had left without notifying us. Over all it was not a great experience.
Trivia was fun though.

Converted old train station in Columbia, mo. Good food, had the homemade chili and a gourmet grilled cheese sandwich. Large outside area, large bar area.

Find some place else to eat or prepare to be disappointed. Found staff rude and unfriendly. Food is very average. On the upside plenty of room nobody there. I think Covid is the best thing that has ever happened to this place. Obviously we will not beback

Shiloh has fantastic decor with spacious seating and comfortable chairs. The staff is polite and eager to wait on you. Overall, the atmosphere is pleasant, and it is the perfect place for lunch, supper, or just to have drinks.
