Fast and friendly service with a nice menu and atmosphere. The Shiloh Club Sandwich was really good.

Can barely describe how disappointed i am with my experience with this place. Its never just been an amazing place but tonight was outrages. We ordered our for at like 9:27. Got our appetizers in a decent time but the queso only filled 1/4 of the container. But 10:15 i had to ask where our food was (11 $1 tacos and 2 $3 burgers) and she said they would be out soon...10:29 we finally got our tacos (an hour later and no burgers, and the tortillas for the soft tacos were hard) and the waitress tells us that the kitchen messed up and she was sorry, i do appreciate her telling us what happened (only reason i left any tip). And im not asking for a free meal but after waiting an hour after we ordered to get bad tacos we get the bill and are expected to pay for everything no discount or anything. The only reason it's getting one star is because the waitress tried to explain what happened and google won't let me do "no stars". I know y'all probably don't care but you've lost customers.
Spent over a year going to this bar on a decently common basis. Bartenders and severs are great, but time that it takes for food and drinks and to get to your table to outrageous. One specific manager was significantly unfriendly when delivering drinks to our table. Poorly managed establishment when it comes to a timely matter and when it comes to customer service. Would recommend another bar and grill like the Deuce, harpos, willies, and Southside.
The Spot is nostalgic first and foremost!! Shiloh home used to be a railroad station and other different restaurants. As for Shiloh, great sports bar with great food choices, and kid friendly. Their patio is one of the best in town. Take time to visit and enjoy your favorite game with smiles.
It might be good in the evenings. But their menu is not set up for lunch. We were told the evening and lunch menu are the same and I believe the cost are exorbitant for a lunch. I looked around and saw they had a small crowd for lunch and could tell that they are not trying to appeal to the lunchtime crowd. I believe they are more suited for business people who are on an expense account. My son and I avoided the high prices by buying small cups of soup.
Great service. Burger was just great. And this time, a friend picked up the tab. Can't get much better than great, free food
Great food and atmosphere. The reason I m giving two stars is because there is no changing station for a kid in either bathroom. Men s or women s. I understand it s a bar but plenty of families come in and us being one of them was disappointed we couldn t change our kid in the bathroom and had to do out in the open with everyone eating.
Our kid loves the food too but sadly won t be going back with him since we cant change him there. Suggest putting one in at least one bathroom.
Food was ok, waitress forgot an item on my tab after I'd already paid and had a tip out... Ended up being more than my tip for one sip. Service needs more experienced employement.
Shiloh is always a great place to go. They have good specials that change throughout the evening including late night, so which can hit the spot after you've been out with friends for a while. The staff is great, courteous and responsive. The owner and managers do a great job of keeping things running smoothly. When the weather gets warmer their patio is spacious and has decent views of things going on along Broadway without being too loud, since its dropped down a little bit. All the food choices are good, recommended the Hawaiian Chicken sandwich for something sweet and savory. The Shiloh quesadilla is great for a share appetizer or enough for a solid meal.
This is another great place for food and atmosphere here in Columbia MO
Food was great, fast to your table. Super tasty and good value. But the service was not exactly top notch. Waitress was not real friendly or very attentive to our table.
I consider Shiliohs an advanced college sports bar. The drinks are great, prices are solid, food is good (they even legit have a smoker out back, so don't worry about ordering their bbq).
Tons of TV screens, if you're going there to watch an event there's not a bad seat in the house. The venue is even segmentated so if you don't like the fans in one area you can go to another.
My favorite zone is the patio. Tvs out there, iron wrought seats and tables, a mix of direct sum and shade. Not exactly a great view as it's sunk into a hill on Broadway, but it's a great area overall.
I've been to shilohs twice. First experience was nothing to write home about but it was fine for a college sports bar
Second experience on the other hand was one of the worst restaurant experiences of my life. Upon arriving I was informed that there was a $5 cover because it was "bingo night", as I was supposed to be meeting a friend there I said give me a minute and let me make sure this is okay and if she wants to pay $5 cover on a Wednesday night just to get some drinks and food. The bouncer then said never mind you are good come on in. I proceed to order beers for myself while waiting on my friend. My friend shows up and they inform her there is a $5 cover, and even after mentioning that she's meeting a freida there that didn't pay cover 5 minutes ago they would not let her in without paying cover. I closed my tab and will never be returning to shilohs.
While $5 is not alot of money and I don't have a problem with them charging it, the problem i have is them lying to me about charging it while me and my friend could of simply went to another one of the (better) restaurants in Columbia.
On top of the issue with the cover, the Mich Ultra draft i ordered was flat, and did not taste anything like mixh ultra.
The first time I went to shilohs I was impressed with their patio, and the food/beer was good enough, but after my experience on the second time I can solidly say that there are better restaurants in Columbia for less money.
Long story short- this place sucks
First time there for the food, it was very delicious and truly a Mizzou place!
Great place to sit outside! Katey the bartender was awesome!
Decent bar - good place to go for game days or bigger group get-togethers. Try the ghost pepper cheese burger. Outside patio is legit.
Had lunch on game day for Tiger basketball. Very exciting atmosphere. Food was great
Good wings and service, lots of specials. The only bad part was they had the Bachelor playing on all the screens lol.
Great atmosphere. Went in for appetizers before an MU basketball game and had nachos with beef...could have made them better at home. Go for the beer not for the food...
Foodnet was Fearless good service was friendly I'd recommend it.
Great place to grab a lunch... Food is not typical bar and grill food, it's good. Service is fantastic
Sunday it was quiet and a conversation was easy to have
..
Pretty solid food and drink prices, but the servers seem a bit distracted by their phones and chit chat among one another.... Will give it another shot soon and see if that remains a constant.
Food is ok service is lame the building is amazing though if you like old buildings.
I did not try any food. My friends loved the wings though. The beer was cold and atmosphere was fun. Would return. Lots of tvs to watch sporting events. Waitress and bartender were attentive.
Love the patio, but sometimes you won't get spotted if you drop by at a slow hour. Just pop inside, say hello, and they'll hook you up. Number two fried pickles in town, but the patio makes it the place to be.
Really good food. Prices not horrible but smaller portions for less cost would be good.
Locally owned, great food & too many specials to list. Historic location.
Total College bar, but with good service and bartenders who don't have attitude. Sat at the bar and observed - a lot. I enjoyed the buffalo chicken pizza and some IPA. The place with filled with raucous St Louis Cards fans who were watching their team on opening day, so there was a special energy going on. Loved it. Will go back next time I'm in COMO.
the girl who answered the phone was so rude. dont go to this place. bad customer service!
Got there at 930 had to pay a 5 cover only to be told last call was 945 due to covid. The staff at the door said it's a 5 dollar cover and you'll need masks to walk across the patio to the table. Not one word about last call in 15 minutes... Service wasn't the best
This place is vibrant during Mizzou's home game days
Food was as good as always... Hawaiian Chicken Sandwich is huge and delicious.
Clean place. Great food. Lots of pool tables. Very chill.
Good food nice sports bar what you'd expect to pay
Never have had good luck with service here but the environment makes up for it.
Always cold beer, fresh food. Great place to watch a game or hang out with friends.
Great food and their specials are some of the best downtown. Try their steak, it's a pleasant surprise!
Food, service and prices were great. Would give 5 stars if it wasn't country music playing
Sign at the front said seat yourself. There were several waitresses standing around. A couple of them came to the table directly next to the one I sat at to bus it. The second waitress adjusted the chairs and made eye contact but still no service. I waited a solid 15 minutes for a waitress to come by and none did. The service is lacking and as someone who has never eaten there, I'm disappointed in a local business. I will not waste the time trying to eat here in the future.
Great bar food and a really nice patio. Service is okay but make sure to get a table!
Great place noisy sometimes good food good service better than going to hooters all young girls wearing tights serving.
The bartender who looks like an oversized baby thinks he s really cool. I sat at the bar and watched him short drinks on people that weren t getting along with the waitresses that they recycle out of there every two weeks. This place has gotten to all of the workers heads. They think they are here for them when it should be the other way around.
