Sheraton Zagreb Hotel Review

It is a pretty hotel but that is all I can say. I came here by tour coach. The tour director was rushing to get luggage off for those going to a dinner (I was not) as we were late.

I am in an airboot due to breaking my lower leg in an accident. So I am slow and using a cane for balance. My bag was left on the sidewalk, last one outside. I asked the bellboy if I had to go get it as other guests were. He said no but disappeared never to be seen again. One of my tour mates got it to me. I struggled into the lift with holding a room card, backpack, purse, cane and big luggage. It was worse trying to navigate it on carpet. I needed 3 arms. Normally I don't complain and I didn't go to the reception desk because they were backed up. But I wonder how they treat permanently disabled people? I have a new appreciation for what handicapped folks endure and it is sad. This tour includes having your bag delivered to your door. This hotel gets an F in service. Zagreb people outside the hotel were super friendly and nice.

Very welcoming, rooms could use an update. Great location. Even gave us a bottle of sparkling wine for our anniversary!!

Old property. Basic service. Bad buffet spread. Can do much better for the money charged as a property.

I used only the wellness center Ferid Murad.Which is small by the way but clean and has a little bit of everything

One of the most visited hotels in Zagreb which was renovated several years ago. Rooms at the 5th floor are nice and cosy you can feel like at home, plate of fresh fruit and chocolate will wait for you.
Hotel is located 15min walk from city center.
Garage is provided.
Spa and gym are not so big but nice and clean.
Breakfast offers various food choice for every possible visitor.

A cockroach appeared in my room. They changed rooms, gave wine and flowers, but left a poor impression of cleanliness. In addition, the hotel welcomes many groups of tourists and the restaurant is small in relation to its capacity. The result is that breakfast is chaotic in the early hours.
Anyway, I expected much more from a Sheraton

Everything very organized in the hotel, with everything you need. In the room has everything, ironing board, iron, even bathrobe. Breakfast to suit all tastes. Very efficient and courteous service staff.

Excellent hotel in a central area to take trams and meters, the place is very clean and the service is excellent, most of the hotel staff speaks English.

Very nice atmosphere, but the rooms are not special and not worth 5 stars. However, the lobby, restaurant and cafe are really nice. The breakfast was fantastic too! The only problem is the swimming pool, which really lacks any kind of hygiene.

Great hotel with great location. Sheraton top quality standards. But the best part of my stay was the great staff both at reception and at the restaurant.

Unusually, specific, delicious downtown dishes in a completely calm and relaxed atmosphere.

Imagine a waiter who forgets to bring you the order. The excuse does not exist at the Sheraton hotel.

The room is slightly larger and slightly gorgeous, with air conditioning, but no drinking water in the bottle.
The risotto for dinner turned out to be boned and flew up.

Excellent hotel wonderful staff who were very helpful

Worked there on several conferences. The rooms that were given to us on the first floor were below minimal standard for a HQ from technical perspective. Concierges were unhelpful and avoided contact. Well below par for such a esteemed franchise.

In the hotel of allegedly 5 stars, we found the mold in the mini bar.

Location is good . No access to refrigerator was disappointing .

The room was comfortable, the breakfast was delicious and it was great.

You wait for a waitress for a long time to serve you, one toilets in 2 halls

Superb classic Grand Hotel. It seems to go back to the golden times of luxury environments. The 5 stars deserve them all. Sauna, gym and SPA are of a good standard, with hot herbal teas and refreshing water. Great halls for events and conferences, where the Rotary Club also meets. A very central location, the train station is two blocks away. The upper town for a pleasant walk accompanied by the sight of ancient buildings of Viennese character.

Apart of cozy room and good breakfast, spa experience was terrible. Firstly, the relaxation area in front of the saunas was freezingly cold, with one old radiator heater which was not working. And, when I am saying radiator I dont mean on heating system... It's the one that you can use remotely use at your home. Then, out of three saunas (infrared, hamam, and finish one), only one was in order. And that order means it was just working, and sand time keepers were also out of order... yes, it seems unimaginable, but it was like that... So, for that kind of business hotel, SPA has to be impeccable... unfortunately, it ruined my whole experience :((((

Good service and convenient location. Room was modern and clean. The only issue is the pool and gym area are subpar. Pool was poorly managed and change room smells terribly.

It s not possible to open any Windows in my room, welcome to the Bunker.

For the menu : 3 French chips in the plate with a little piece of chicken, whaaaaaa. Amazing.

Hotel outside looks very fancy. But the service and the bad food doesnt match the look.

A to Z everything was really great. From staff to atmosphere and food will stimulate the high class experience even to feel like home. A great location to approach the city centre. Still calm and quiet.

Elegant and stylish. I was a guest at the wedding and everything was great, from the sale, choice of food and drinks, courteous staff. In any case, it deserves a recommendation.

True Elegance With Measure! The room was spacious, modern and comfortable, but not in the way that everything was overly or unnecessarily in it. The staff is kindly also with the right measure; personally I do not like when employees are too intrusive.
The interior of the hotel is very pleasant, in the evening the pianist takes care of the atmosphere in the lobby, and as you step outside, most of Zagreb's attractions are available for a shorter stroll. All in all, a very pleasant stay.

As sheraton experience goes it was a nice experience in Zagreb. We did not spend much time in the hotel so cant review all. But food and service were good. The staff was helpful and cordial.. had a good stay.

Quality central location for the Advent festivities

Still best hotel in Zagreb since decades. I believe the only hotel with an own garage under the hotel. So you can park your car with baggage safely. Received free upgrade to suites. Perfect service. Walking distance to city centre. Safe neighbourhood.

A bit outdated but great staff and service. Close to the town centre.
