Sheraton Vistana Villages Review

We got a pretty awesome package deal through Costco, and the place is really nice for what we paid. Everything we could possibly need in our rooms and kitchen. The heated pools were great, because we went during a cooler time of year. We made use of the Disney shuttles everyday of our stay. The pushing of timeshares was a bit much, but not obnoxious.

It has a great pool ,and they are very friendly. It is well taken care of on the outside, some of the rooms need to be up dated.

Calm, beautiful, well taken care of! And my second stay at this Hotel. I have stayed in many others in Orlando, but this was the best so far.

No parking at all , you want to go to sleep and no parking horrible service

Being an "owner" with Vistana has honestly been a tremendous waste of my time and money. They have extremely aggressive and dishonest sales practices and people, and got me locked into a contract by telling me what I wanted to hear, not the truth, and refusing to take no for an answer. I intend to seek any method to get out of this, but would urge anyone else to be extremely careful before you sign on the dotted line. Do not trust that they are telling you what you need to know, they are NOT. They will say anything that sounds good to get you to buy. Problem is, only a third of it is true and you will end up with something that is a huge waste of money. The one time I did get lucky enough to find some dates to vacation here, I was pushed into attending more aggressive sales pitches and the vacation was definitely ruined. They will call your room repeatedly to get you to a sales meeting and then try to push you into spending more.... Don't buy, not worth it.

The resort provides a lot of amenities that create a welcoming and fulfilling visit here in the Orlando area; however, there are some yet minimal changes and issues we have had on our journey. Whether a product of misinformation or changing locations, one of the bars does not keep to the hours advertised and signage has not been updated. Secondly, the owners lounge needs some updating. I feel like there's a lot of wasted space including the snack area which would easily be consolidated. On top of that, the desk arrangements could be better designed to assist the account executives with their customer management. Plus having to go into a closet to retrieve the adult beverages seems cheap.

Stayed there many times over the past 10 years. Always enjoyable. Staff very nice and rooms clean and comfortable. Close access to parks.

This place is massive, stayed here two years in a row and toon me until the 2nd year to realize it. Not much more you could want out of a Disney vacation property.

Wonderful place....great rooms...nice grounds and 3 pools.

Except for the FILTHY, stopped up toilets in BOTH mens & ladies bathrooms at the main pool for OVER TWO HOURS... & less than sanitary and urine -soaked and stinking restrooms at the Pirate Ship pool and bar, everything was FANTASTIC! Yes, these were gross issues that they really need to do much MUCH better with, we were otherwise THRILLED with everything else - CLEAN, crisp rooms - excellent service - neat and tidy outdoor areas. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED, once problem areas addressed.

It was so fun! The kids had a blast. Very friendly resort.

The trip started with a woman at the front desk that would hardly look up at us as we checked in. Their attitude has definitely gotten much worse in the years since Ive started visiting this property. This is followed up by a mandatory visit to the concierge where they aggressively push you to attend their "information session" which ends up being a sales pitch for more ownership points.

By the way, ALWAYS check your alarm radios when you enter the rooms. I've stayed here more than a dozen times and each time the alarm radios are amazingly programmed to go off at 2 or 3AM.

Good property to stay at if: 1) you have 5/6 people staying with you and don't want to rent two rooms 2) the Disney properties are full or 3) if you have a ton of extra ownership points to spend.

Great place amazing pools and grounds.
Only issue we had was a rude main knocking and almost pushing her way in after we had told office on day 1 it would be a late check out.

Someone didn't do there job and made our last morning a nightmare that maid was surprisingly rude...
Overall id give 5 stars but maid issue I have to give 3..

It is a very nice hotel, but the room cleaning service could be better. It has Brazilian receptionists, which helps a lot when you need to deal with something there

This is the second year in a row we have come here. The amenities and services here are wonderful. Huge pool and activities for the children, bar, billiards and table tennis for the older of age.

Stay in the back area..the heated pool has a ship and water slide that my kids loved..will definitely be back.

Stayed in a nice room with plenty of space and class. There is exercise equipment nearby, pools, and it's close to all the parks. Great place!

So far this place has been a disappointment. Checked in the folks were nice, but got to the room where we were supposed to get a lock-off and instead got a two bedroom. The room was super musty. Lots of run down features... dishwasher has rust all along the bottom, a lot of buildings have rust on the exterior. I spoke to the front desk about the must and they sent an engineer that to the best of my knowledge just sprayed some scent around the room to fix it. I called house keeping to get a new coffee pot because ours was broken and waited for over ten minutes before they ANSWERED the phone. When I asked why I waited so long she just said "sorry." They gave me some toys for my kids checking in, which was kind, but they broke within five minutes. There is a market on property which I thought would be nice, but the prices are outrageous. There are a lot of resort options around here, I say look elsewhere. I will give them credit and say everyone is kind, that's why I gave them a 2 instead of 1 star

Well maintained resort with all the facilities and comfort to have a relaxing holiday in Florida the gator city of US . Well spread out with many pools to while away time after visiting Disney world.

Dangerous- Room had mold and our lungs were on fire. Our safety was compromised.

Stayed here for our Disney vacation week. Its about 15mins away from the parks, great amenities. Shops nearby. Walmart supercenter is about 10mins, rec getting Disney souvenirs from here very affordable n nice selection ( Harry Potter & Disney Characters)

Always a wonderful time! You truly don't have to leave for anything and the rooms are extremely nice! Great amenities! Poolside bars are a little pricey but no other complaints.

Terrible, I agreed naively to listen to a talk without any commitment in exchange for a debit card for $ 100 at the end of the talk I was not interested in the project ... given that the sellers were supremely loutish and rude and gave me a thousand laps to deliver the card, I wasted 3 hours and they had said 1 hour that horror

Brilliant place to stay in orlando. 5mins to seaworld and 20min drive to disney universal a bit shorter. Feel welcome staff are nice would reccomend staying here. Maids are great at keeping the rooms clean. The only downfall i would say with this hotel is that all the entertainment for kids you have have to pay for it. Smorea tie die ect.

Very excellent and familial housing system is a very upscale serviced apartment system I would recommend Arabs to stay in

The place was ok, but the room was a bit smelly and I found bugs in the kitchen area. The only upside about this resort is the pool.

the Resort has taken extra money from my visa without any reason,and i can't contact them.

Beautiful looking resort... wonderful villas... amenities are not as robust as Vistana Resort down the road but still pretty great...very friendly and accommodating staff. Love staying here, highly recommend for families.

I've stayed here twice as guests of my in-laws. The rooms are great and come equipped with everything you need to have a comfortable stay.

It's nice but very spread out. The worst is that there is little to no shade at the pools, they have only a handful of umbrellas so you will burn under the sun and therefore unless you're there for a tan you'll spend little time by the pool.

The location is convenient to both Sea World and Universal Studios. We have a 2 bedroom, 2 bath suite. Very clean, laundry closet, full kitchen, dining area, living room with queen sized sleeper sofa, the 2nd bedroom has two full sized beds, the main bathroom connects to the 2nd bedroom, the master suite contains a full Bathroom and features a Jacuzzi soaker tub.

I have been coming here for over 10 years. It is so worth it. This a great place to make memories with family and friends

There was two or more pools and one had a small water park for smallish children and a waterslide for bigger kids too. The place is pretty close to a lot of restraunts and fast food places. It has a gym, a bar and grill, a playground, and a shop.

Large family resort with big pools and nice suites. Timeshares but if you're paying for your suite it is not required. Nice facilities and comfortable common areas. Close to Disney but far enough away that the traffic is not bad. Shopping near by and a supermarket is a few blocks away. Convenience store on the property.

Been using Sheraton Vistana with my family for 20+ years, feels like home every time I visit.

My mother always said if you can't say anything nice, don't say anything so I'll just leave it at that and I'll give them an opportunity to fix it

There are movie nights by the pool, which are very nice. Not too many people, but enough so you're not alone. The bellhop drove me over to my building which was very nearby even if I was alone and only had a small suitcase. Staff is very friendly and hospitable

OK place to stay. Tough to get ahold of the front desk, engineering, etc. though. Good location and close to food, stores, and so on. No shuttle to Disney Springs, but most other park location.

Everything about the hotel is great. I made a regular reservation and paid upfront for my room. BUT I'm rating 3 stars because of the fact that they quickly and "fine print" like duked me into sitting through a 90 minute sales pitch for whatever the hell they were trying to push. After check in they immediately directed me to another desk where they "kindly" invited me to a complimentary pastry breakfast and gave my son some toys and me a 100 visa card but didn't say that it was going to be a 90 minute time share presentation. Granted, our presentor was sweet but I only wish they would have been a bit more transparent about it. We didn't leave the hotel until almost 11 after fighting with management to ALLOW us to leave since they all made it clear that we had to since we signed those papers. Since it was a short trip mainly planned around going to Disney, we had planned to be at the park by open time but because of this whole fiasco, I didn't make it there until 1pm. Terrible.

Became owners 4 years ago and have loved it every time we have been back.

This is the second time I have been to this establishment and it is still too short. The pools are superb and what about the cleanliness of the place (impeccable) I highly recommend .....
