Sheraton Vistana Villages Review

Staying at Key West location and although there's renovations happening it's very quiet and pleasant.

Excellent service, beautiful villa. Love this place.

My favorite resort. I visit at lease three times a year.

A beautiful resort. Rooms were pretty clean. The pools and playgrounds were a lot of fun. They have grills and walking paths available. The kids activities were a little too pricy for what you get. $8.50 for a jar with sand and water and a little cheap action figure is a little much for what they call a "glitter snowglobe" but other than the kids activities the resort was great

The property amenities are great. We really enjoyed our stay. Short drive to Universal and Disney. Great restaurants within short driving distance. The hotel grounds are really well kept. Staff is friendly, main pool area is convenient, nice and big. We paid a small fee to stay as a part of AmEx timeshare promotion. The concierge was super nice and accommodating, even though we told upfront that we don't want to sit through the 90min. presentation. She was totally understanding and not pushy, just took a minute to give us highlights and said to talk to her if we wanted to know more. So we spent our time enjoying Orlando. Even though I didn't buy a timeshare with Sheraton/Mariott, because of my experience, given the options, I will try yo stay with their hotel chain. Thanks for great vacation experience, Sheraton/Mariott!

Very impressed with the room. It was clean and full of awesome amenities such as free internet. The 10 min drive to Disney certainly helps with traffic.

Beautiful rooms and pools. Comfortable beds, may be on the soft side for some. Convenient location to activities. Full kitchen, jacuzzi tub in master bedroom. Front counter wasn't overly pushy about timeshare presentation which was great

Beautiful location and fantastic view from the rooms! All the amenities we could ask for and more! The staff went above and beyond to treat us like royalty; including upgrading us to a Premium suite for no extra cost!

It is a beautiful resort with 4 pools and plenty of rooms. There is never a dull moment and the view is captivating. It's very astetically pleasing.

It was a very nice resort with great amenities. The staff was friendly and the restaurant food was great. The resort could not prevent the toddler from running in the room above us. We will stay in a different section next time.

This is a very well managed and run complex with every aspect covered . All villas/apartments are top spec and very well kitted out. The grounds and many pool areas are of high quality.

Great for families to come together. Friendly staff and very responsive. Daily housekeeping included for bonvoy members. We would recommend this for anyone. Beautiful rooms and very kid friendly with a pool for children.

We are Sheraton owners and this was our first visit here. The staff are friendly, rooms are very clean and the events they put on are fantastic!

It is a wonderful property. The staff is GREAT! Once you are here, you will never want to leave.

my family and i stayed at this hotel for two weeks. the rooms were spacious, but smell horrible like sewage. the bed linens are out-dated and filthy. getting in touch with housekeeping and front desk management was a huge ordeal. the staff did not communicate with each other, and hardly know each other by name.

they promote a time share presentation, which is decent and beneficial. they even take you around the property to show you sample rooms that smell wonderfully and have plush linens- but its advertising at its best. because the reality is no where near this nice.

the hotel does not have a general manager, so the directors are trying to fill the void. i was offered a refund and still have not received a full refund for my stay one month later.

the gift shops are triple the price per item, so save yourself and drive to a nearby walgreens or starbucks.

sadly, as an SPG/bonvoy member - i cannot recommend this hotel.

Definitely a great place to stay with many amenities and activities to participate in without leaving the resort. However I do have an issue with management sending someone to knock on my door at 1:30 am to talk about a payment issue and then say oh sorry we have the wrong room. Very unprofessional. Think again before staying here.

This hotel was a great hotel great service and food. They had a shop and kind of like a cafe it had everything but it was very expensive. They had a heated pool because it was cold and it was great. We got a little carried away and were a little to loud when we were having fun and we were asked to quiet down. Other than that it was a wonderful experience it was right next to i-drive which is a place I also reviewed for.

New renovations to the rooms are amazing! Service is fantastic and ammenities are great. Really enjoy this stay here and so close to all attractions in the area.

The room smells so bad. I'm almost sure it's mold on the air vent grate. From what I gathered from other patrons most of the rooms suffer from a mildew smell. . FML.

The Sheraton Vistana Villages is a very beautiful hotel about 15 minutes away from Disney I'm 10 minutes away if that from SeaWorld. We always have such a good time as we go to this hotel multiple weekends in a year. We are from Tampa so we are lucky that it is such a short drive. We highly recommend this hotel to all of our friends and family that are staying in the theme park area and do not want to spend being part prices for the hotel stay.

Wow. Prayers up for Orlando!!! It was empty. Layoffs for the holiday. Stayed in the Jacuzzi. Resort always a pleasure.

We have stayed here as a family for years. I m not sure if we will be back. It seems as though they are really focused on turning over the rooms for the next guests. They start calling at 9:30 am. No sleeping in for you! They turn off your room key by 10 am. I thought check out is at 11?! I don t need this type of stress in my life, it s not cheap to stay here. Other than that, it s clean, lots of activities. These places are a dime a dozen in Orlando, so I ll take my business elsewhere. I want to sleep in on my vacation and not be rushed out like a one night stand

Fantastic trip a few years ago. Clean, affordable, and close to all of the major theme parks in Orlando. Family style apartments with washer & dryer inside made this place a good pick for anyone!

Beautiful tropical setup with palm trees, pools with huge waterfalls. Very romantic.

Location is great, especially for visiting all of the theme parks. Rooms were comfortable and clean. We had a great time sitting by the beautiful pool area. There were no issues during our stay.

Great rooms. Kids pool is fantastic. Not a lot of food choices by kids pool. The market has some more options though, which is right next to the kids pool. The vacation club folks are there trying to sell stuff to you. It s worth a listen but wasn t for us. Definitely recommend this place.

This hotel is just breath taking however every year that I come here with my family there is some sort of issue with check in.

Fun family atmosphere. Some minor changes to the kids pirate pool area (no slides like in the pictures and the one that is still there was our of order). So far, friendly staff.

You are not allowed to get any rest!!!!!!We came to Orlando to get some rest after my mom passed and whom I took care of round the clock for 4 months. I begged the staff at check in to please not disturb us, but sure enough 8am the first day we got our first call. I really haven't had a full uninterrupted night sleep in 4 months, and it doesn't look like we are going to have any more time off any time soon since we are starting the same process now with my mother in law. So the bottom line is don't come here and expect to be on vacation, when you come to Vistana expect to be harrassed until you decide to pay 14k for a week in Orlando instead of 1k. Place is nice, but not worth the hassle, and the fact that they take your vacay from you!!!!!

Rooms are nice, the bed was terrible. There is only one restaurant on site is which is not very good. We were never asked once about how our stay was, but were called repeatedly about attending a timeshare presentation. The only "bars" are in the restaurant which closes at 10 or poolside ones which either close at 6 or 8 depending on the day. I would expect more from a resort. I have stayed at other places in the Orlando area that had much more to offer.

My husband and I thought that by purchasing a SPG vacation package that Orlando, Florida's Sheraton Resort Villas would be a perfect place to stay for our honeymoon. Upon arrival we walked into the Welcome center which was full of people, we had to wait at least ten minutes before we were checked in. When we checked in, the receptionist said that we had been upgraded, which we thought was super nice. But to our disappointment when we went to our Villa, it was NOTHING like the one we paid for. There was holes in the arms of the sofa, there was stains on the carpet, the shower still had hair in it. The soaps looked like they had just been thrown on the counter. The bed wasn't even comfortable, it was very hard! So my husband called and explained that we were not in the right Villa and it was not the one we paid for. The Guest Services agent that we spoke with gave us the run around for about 20 minutes before we explained that we went to the conference for the vacation packages you can purchase and they give you a TOUR of the room that you are purchasing before you even buy the package. After we told her that we knew what the room looked like that we were supposed to be in because we had come before, the woman changed her attitude and said that she would kindly speak with the management. After about 30 minutes we were called to go view a room, then we transferred to that room. (The one we should have been in, in the first place!) After our first night we decided that we wanted to explore what Orlando had to offer. When we arrived back at our room, our key entry card wouldn't work! (And we had bought groceries for our week stay!) So imagine sitting on the ground by your villa, which you cannot get into, waiting for someone to come let you into your room! We had to wait at least 10 to 20 minutes! (While our groceries we sitting in the hot sun.) We were very disappointed. This not only happened once, but it happened twice! I even asked for three keys to make sure that we didn't get locked out again after the first time. 2 out of the 3 keys that we had did NOT WORK! It was very frustrating to have gone through these schaningans on my honeymoon of all things! The only reason this place got 2 stars from me was because there was a shuttle driver named Rudy that made my night last night so much better. He helped show us our room after we had to switch and just talked us through everything and made us feel welcome. So big hats off to the Shuttle Driver named Rudy. As far as the service and hospitality goes, if I could give zero stars I would because no one that we spoke with was even remotely helpful. Very disappointed by this whole experience. I will not be staying here again, will advice friends and family the same. I will be attendending the vacation packages conference tomorrow and will be sharing our expiences with others that attend as well.

Great location, friendly staff, units are a good size (especially if traveling with family or friends), and plenty of onsite activities to do. Unfortunately, our room in building 4 had poor air circulation. We visited in October and were burning up every night despite having the AC on 65 degrees. Pillows were very uncomfortable and provided no support.
