Everything is great here, except the parking garage. I found it to be way too narrow to comfortably maneuver a vehicle. Otherwise, very nice hotel. I've been staying there since the early 90s.

A cozy place The conference room that you visit has a very good view of the surroundings
Great rates, excellent location, views of the capitol and Washington monument from the rooms
Nice location, near DC. Great rate and staff was phenomenal!
Excellent hotel, decent service, though the wireless Internet access was patchy even with SPG status.
The service was excellent. The views of the mall are great.
Nice people. Clean rooms. great location. Price was fair.
Interior lobby directions are not well marked. Pretty hotel.
Super, I loved the service, the restaurant excellent, overall very good.
Its a decent place with reasonable prices. If you are lucky and got top floors you would have an amazing scenic views.I got my room in 4th floor not bad still got a decent view.
Concs:
No Microwave
No Freezer
It got the job done. Not many amenities as I would but it was a nice clean and cozy hotel.
Good hotel, nice rooms. Kind of disappointing for a Sheraton to not have a hot tub
Good facilities, but a few downsides: no free Wifi, and service in the restaurant was slow. Also, location is poor if you don't have a car.
Hotel is decent enough but service is absolutely atrocious. Nobody cares. Not isolated either, it s every time I come here (approx 12-15 times over the past 2 years).
They have a free shuttle to the Airport and Pentagon City Mall which run at set times, the Pentagon City Mall service is like clockwork, the Airport notsomuch. They have 3 pickup/ drop off points, however if they fill up the van at the first pickup point (southernmost point where Southwest is), they don t even drive past the other 2 pickup points. Calling the front desk doesn t help matters, they assure you that the van runs on schedule, yet after waiting for 1.5 hours and not seeing van come past once I generally end up taking a taxi. They could so easily be disarming by saying that the van might have been full and to walk down to the southwest terminal to be sure to get on the next one.
A clue as to just how bad it is here, when checking in, look at the stack of complimentary breakfast coupons they keep behind the front desk, and how often they are apologetically handing them out....
Nice hotel with amazing staff, but the beds and pillows were pretty stiff.
Everything was awesome. Parking was waived for us so that was a nice surprise. Everything was clean and working for us. We will stay again :)
The staff was very friendly and made all attempts to be pleasant and say hello when they see you. The limited consideration breakfast is $14
Good security cleaning and could improve your service
Very nice place to stay. Relatively close to major shopping and restaurants.
Parking service was convenient for long term travel.
Good meeting space, great free garage parking at least while we were there. Disappointing that it's not walking distance to any amenities. I'd rather stay at another hotel in Arlington or Clarendon that gives walking access to restaurants, grocery stores, etc.
Hands down the WORST hotel I have ever stayed at. First day, my lock malfunctioned 3 times and I could not get into my room. Complained to the front desk to be told that they would send someone out and that they wouldn't put me in another room. Went to take a shower and the shower plate is falling apart and looked disgusting. Later that day the elevators stopped working in that tower. Had to walk around and find the annex to get to the other side and take the stairs down. The next morning, I tried calling down to the front desk to find out why I had an unauthorized charge of $50 on my card after they had already put one $50 hold for incidentals on my card and the phone didn't work. Had to call from my cellphone and I STILL have not heard back from the manager, Marvin. Got back to my room late to find that I could not get into my room, AGAIN for the 4th time. Went to the front desk to speak to some rude receptionist named Anthony and I'm now sitting in the lobby at 12:21 waiting for someone to open my door so that I can get in. A complete disaster!!! Do NOT stay at this horrible hotel.
Disgusting and dingy . Seriously an air freshener in the vent of the air conditioner. Old and dated . Smells super musty. I do not recommend
I have no complaints. It wasn't 5 start but was exactly what we needed. Comfortable, spacious room, friendly staff and quiet area. We even walked a little in the evening down to a shopping area. It was a nice peaceful stroll.
Place is ok....but be careful of the shower.....no shower mat and I slipped and hurt myself the last time I was there.....
It was ok. No free WiFi. No free breakfast. Room was nice and clean.
The hotel had a beautiful view of the city, all of the amenities you could possibly need, very clean and comfortable.
Second stay at this place, the hotel is old and run-down, but they charge like it's the Hilton. TV service in the room was intermittent, check-in process took 30 minutes, for myself and my co-worker. Staff at the front desk was very inefficient. there was no line when we walked up, it literally took them 30 minutes to check us in, and they never did give him credit for his points. The rooms are old, the bathroom door won't even open up far enough so you can use the toilet with out hitting the shower. Had to get my Wi-Fi password reset twice on a two-day state, the Wi-Fi service was good once it worked in the room. Our company reserved a conference room on the 15th floor for a social of 20 people, the place was dirty when we showed up, tablecloths were filthy we had to turn them over, to hide the stains. I would not recommend this place at all, the bed was adequate, the location near Arlington was awesome, but the price and the service and the quality was unacceptable.
I stayed here when I went on a school trip to Dc. It's somewhat affordable considering that up to four people can stay in one room and the room is moderately spacious. It's also walkable distance to some great restaurants. The bathroom was very clean. Overall I enjoyed my stay!
Horribly rude and unreasonable, shady business practices.
I purchased my room online through Priceline for one night I was in town to pick up my son.
Upon arrival, I was told I could not check in because I had forgotten my other wallet at home 6 house away that held my cards.
Even though the room was already paid in full they refused to let me use the care on file, Apple Pay, or cash to cover the menial 50.00 incidentals hold. I was on the Phone with Priceline, Marriott and the Sheraton for three hours in my car trying to find a way to sleep somewhere safe and not in my car Hecate they refused to let me check in to the room that was already paid for.
To make matters worse, Priceline called them on my behalf trying to plead with them to refund the 68.99 back to my card for the one nights stay. We were all rudely disregarded by a manager by he name of Jasmine, who refused to approve this tiny refund and still wouldn t let me check into my room.
After awhile they also started playing the phone hanging up; transferring to VM, and even lying telling me that no manager was like be in all weekend/ which was strange, because just 30 min prior to that statement, I was told someone named Terrance the manger was out to lunch( at 8:30 at night), and that they didn t know when he d be back because mangers take longer lunches than others ( actual words spoken on my phone by the hotel)
Horrific night and very unprofessional
Choose anywhere else!
Friendly service and easy to locate. Stay was amazing.
Got the hotel at a great price - 50% off normal rate. Staff was helpful, not the most enthusiastic. Bartender was cool, much more welcoming than check-in. My room was comfortable and clean. I would visit again.
The building is nice, good view from the room. Service was poor, lacks attention to detail. Glorified motel at best.
Older hotel but pretty well taken care of. The view from the pool on the top floor was cool.
Nice and helpful staff. We had the king bedroom and it was spacious with very nice city view.
The room itself was nice, cozy and spacious with double beds, big windows, separate shower and sink areas. Everything was clean, pillows fluffy, and comforters warm. Our room came with the standard coffee machine, ice box, etc and a fridge at our request. They provided free shuttle to Pentagon City Station and the airport. BUT the drivers would not pay in the same spot, or stay near the bus to keep the bus door open, or call out that they are picking up passengers. And they would drive off as soon as the time hit. Our room door was a little broken and didn't automatically lock. Our phone was also a little broken and unplugged. They only replaced the free water bottle on our last night. Their vending machine also didn't accept credit cards as it was supposed to. You can tell everything is old and pretty obsolete. There is definitely some things they can improve, even without replacing machines.
Beautiful lobby. Great restaurant. Best tomato soup I have eaten in all I have been served EVER. Stephen at the front desk is the epitome of customer service. He is one fine young man, Stephen provided personal attention to us if we were the only guest during our stay. This young man is setting the bar high for any other hotel staff we will interact with from this time forward. If you plan a stay here in the near future be sure to seek Stephen out, you will be amazed! pleased! and a happy guest. The room we had was clean, very comfortable and had an incredible view of DC. Highly recommend for your stay
The appetizer set up, saved me this evening! It is older and was obviously super fancy early on, but it is still a very nice hotel.
The pictures of the room are better thank in person. We had to kill 2 roaches and they didn t even offer a discount. The front desk needs more personality. He never greeted us by Mr. or Mrs.
Do not recommend this place
I went for a meeting at the restaurant downstairs. Service was good and the food was delicious.
Love the staff very friendly and courteous they take care of me when I come here they have an indoor heated pool it's on the roof with amazing views of downtown DC all the monuments and a good view of Downtown Arlington Virginia I can see the Pentagon to Air Force Memorial the National Monument the capitol everything from my hotel room is just amazing clean rooms comfortable beds it's just a really really good hotel very good prices and free shuttles to the metro and Ronald Reagan Airport
When I stayed in this hotel it was crazy experience that I had we checked in our room round 3pm my wife started checking sheets that was a blood on the sheet and on the floor that was a needle I contact the manager and police because I didn't wanna get blamed for this police came and took a report also they removed the needle because still heroin was inside manager change our room and he told me they will refund our money which is lie they never refund anything if you're gonna stay in this hotel please check bed sheets floors never stay again this hotel
Crappy location crabby service definitely going to stay in old town anytime I visit DC
Great breakfast and service at the lounge in the morning. The room was clean. Very conveniently located, with a great view of the Washington monument!
Wrong everything
Gr d VIP x fix l
This hotel pleased me in several ways yet it's located where no stores in walking distance are near by.
- It runs shuttle buses to/from Pentagon Metro staion and mall every 30 min (but it will be delayed from 5-7)
- has coffee machine with Starbucks coffee bags
- comfortable and clean beds / Bellows.
- the shower gel ... is good
Room service is good, breakfast buffet was delicious, the rooms are very well kept
SPG Platinum member... Given a room with a view of a wall and highway on the third floor. Sent to my room three times with malfunctioning keys / wrong room number. Pretty sure they person who checked me in was high, illerate, or both.
Wasn't there for a long time. Was just in the lobby waiting for a bus and a guest to attend an event, but seemed nice.
I was at the Sheraton as part of a trio with my school orchestra. Overall everything was nice exept for the breakfast buffet, which was awful. That being said this may be because of our large group size. I don't think that breakfast is a normal option so this criticism may not be valid. Many rooms have a good view of the Pentagon and other monuments.
It was a short overnight stay. Hotel was nice, room was clean. Only thing that bugged me a tiny bit was the beds were rickety and squeaked a bit. Other than that, was all good
Stayed in double bed room. A/C barely kept up, front desk didn't really seem pleased that we were staying there
The hotel and staff was great. We stayed here for a military gathering. The view is amazing and the ball room they had one of the events for the occasion was great. The only down side is the parking garage. Way too tight and small that someone hit our vehicle. Other than that when we go back on a for fun trip we will stay there again.
As a business traveler this place is garbage. Service, room quality, and loud everything. Don't make it your option.
No towels in room on arrival, a/c did not work well
The rooms were extraordinarily clean, the staff was overwhelmingly helpful, the food was pretty darn good and the view of DC was remarkable. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to stay in DC.
Nice place to stay. Hosted the 2019 82nd Abn convention.
This hotel features Amazing ballroom space and is excellent for hosting large parties, such as a wedding or a bar mitzvah. The hotel is easy to access and has relatively cheap self parking options available. The rooms themselves, while large and nicely laid out, are outdated and in need of a modernization. Pretty good bang for your buck.
Nicely kept place. Shuttles to airport and the Metro every 30 minutes. Nice breakfast buffet.
Great rooms, accommodating service. The bar is decent. Parking is probably the biggest weakness. The deck can be very crowded at night.
The last time we were at this hotel was during an Army Ball. However, we often revisit because of the excellent brunch it offers and each visit there's always a problem with customer service. Today, we had to wait at least five to seven minutes before being escorted to a table. Each passing waitress would tell us someone will be with us but no one never returned. We were tempted to leave like a couple before us but we had driven from Stafford, VA. Once being seated, the waitress took too long to check and see if we wanted to order from the menu or participate in the brunch. We decided to take initiative and select our own choice since no one ever returned in a reasonable amount of time. After finally getting service and ordering our omlet, we were able to enjoy a very good brunch. Needs to work on customer service....
I was really impressed. Our stay was very nice and we got it at a good deal. The rooms were very clean and service was outstanding. The front desk staff was very helpful and responded to requests promptly. There was also an excess of little bathroom amenities including hand lotion and a shower sponge.
It was in a pretty decent area near everything I wanted to see. I had fun going alone and hope to do it again. There is a shuttle bus that takes you to the mall, which was convenient. From there I went to take the train to certain attractions.
Really nailed that Pentagon cold war vibe. Most rooms have original decor from the era.
This place is more like a commuter hotel. Total Caos.
A great place to stay in Virgina across from DC. Plenty of parking and comfortable clean rooms. Conference area is well maintained with great atmosphere. Conference food quality is better than usual. Use your GPS to get here. The ramp off the main road is right at the hotel. Picture is a view of DC from my room.
The room they give me it was very outdated , wasn t anything like they offered. Very disappointed and top of that I have waited to be check in . I will never recommend this place to no body .
Executive, rates for tourism families on some weekends
Very nice looking and clean with friendly and supportive staff.
Not much in the area, but hotel was clean, everyone was super nice. Shuttles helped out
Great spot but the pool closes too damn early to be useful. Eat at the bar though, skip the seated area due to slow service but Jamel at the bar got you covered.
