The very best hotel experiences I have ever had.

The very best hotel experiences I have ever had.

I am a hero to my wife for finding this place. It had everything she could want: kitchenette, outdoor grill, beautiful vistas, a full refrigerator and a convection oven/microwave she was enamored with.

My daughter, who is basically a fish, loved the outdoor pool and the nearby Nottingham Park "zip line" made for an afternoon of American Ninja obstacle courses. The game room was stocked with giant bean bags that my daughter and two year old son turned into giant forts and mountains they could jump off and crash softly onto the other bean bags.

They even let us use the garage parking for our rental car for a few extra days after our stay. I was going to have to pay $60/night at the nicer hotel we were booked at for a business conference.

I can't imagine a better experience.

Swanky lodge type condo hotel. It must have been a fluke but our rate was fabulously low compared to other places. Room was more of a small suite with kitchen and jacuzzi tub. Nice lobby and very friendly staff. Wouldnt mind staying here fir a few months.

Stayed in two conjoined rooms with lots of family, everything went smoothly, extra bed we ordered was reasonable and comfortable. All beds were comfortable, and there were no issues with heating, kitchen, transportation, etc.

Class Action Suit - Sheraton Mt Vista Foreclosures- during 2020 Covid where many people are struggling ...Marriott / Sheraton Mountain Vista Resort chose to foreclose on its owners for late HOAs.

This resort apparently does not care about its people like they used to please look out publicly - there is a class action lawsuit that you may be part of as well.

- used to be gem

Planned a stay here for my anniversary because it's a great hotel with a Jacuzzi on the roof with great views...it was out of service our entire stay and the hotel made no effort to satisfy us. Will find another place in the future.

I am still enjoying my stay at this hotel. Everything so far has been excellent. My only issue is that it does not have air conditioning. The cool air outside is supposed to keep the rooms cool. It only does a fair job.

This was a quick couple getaway, I was able to utilize my Marriott Bonvoy points for this stay - we got an entire condo-villa for a lot less than a 450 sq ft room in the heart of Vail - way better experience for us as we like plush and were not looking for posh to go hiking, chill & relax. This place is Huge! My boyfriend was needing to do some work in the late evening while we were away and there was plenty of private space for both of us to feel together yet room to do our own thing when needed. The Aspen trees surrounding our 3rd floor unit were Perfect with a view of the stream and mountain. Everything was cleaner than expected during COVID - only negative was the probable water damage to the window/windowsill in the master bedroom - it is a 'coverup' at best workmanship and glad we were not staying more than a few days as my allergies to mold/mildew were beginning to be irritated the second night of our stay.
Design wise, very comfortable bedding and full kitchen accommodations - one piece of feedback for layout is the main living room TV should be mounted over the FP as the furniture set up is set up to naturally look that way in the room -minor first world feedback. Highly recommended and we Will be Back for a winter getaway, can not wait to see this place in full snow season (barring the current corona pandemic improves for winter 20-21).

Really nice place to stay. Each room has a fire place and a nice living area. There are no cook tops! Only microwave oven so plan accordingly. There is a decent sized hot tub upstairs, game room etc. I loved my stay here. I highly recommend it! There is normally no breakfast but if they do serve it, it is simple. Yogurt, granola, Apple, hard boiled eggs and cereal. The bus stop to get to beaver creek is right across the street!

Nice location, spacious rooms and very friendly staff make this hotel one of the best options in Avon. It is a very convenient spot for anyone enjoying the beautiful area, specially skiers since the free Beaver Creek shuttle stops right in front of the street.
On the down side, the only hot tub is usually crowded. The small gym lacks everything beyond threadmills and free weights.
Overall, it is a great stay.

This place is probably ok during the winter, but in the summer it is horrendous. The room itself was nicely decorated and has a fridge (that didn't smell too good), washer, and dryer. Those are the ONLY things that were somewhat nice. It is important to know that this place has NO AC and has no ventilation. It was 80+ degrees in this room, even at night. The window in the bedroom barely opens and in our room (1508) the ceiling fan in the bedroom did not work, so they offered me another box fan as a solution. So you're hot and you want something to drink? Too bad. Only 2 vending machines on property and they are out of everything but orange soda. And that was hot too. This is a timeshare and they make sure you know it. Disabled parking is very limited as well. And if you are driving anything bigger than a Smart Car, good luck parking or getting out without hitting the car next to you. No worries though as you won't be able to find a spot late at night anyway. The Front Desk staff were hard to get a hold of, seemingly hiding in a back office and not answering the phone. In conclusion, if you are driving to Denver and are so sleepy you need to stop, this place is perfect to spend $170 to get no sleep on a pull-out sofa bed because the bedroom is too hot. And don't worry about a wake-up call, the construction noise right outside the building will wake you up between 7 and 8 am.

Being a Denverite, we come to the mountain almost every week. Avon is like our backyard. As a frequent patron to Westin Beaver creek , I don't expect Sheraton can surpass Westin. I was wrong!
The room is spacious and cozy. With full kitchen and a gas grill in the balcony, we can cook healthy meal as eating at home .
On the 7th floor , there are steam room and sauna and 2 hot tub for us to relax.
I want to especially thank Victor the front desk staff. I made a huge mistake for this trip . I booked the stay for 2018.But Victor went over and beyond to help us find a room without us needing to turn back .
Thank you Victor and SPG guest rep.
We will definitely come back !

The views were pretty great, and the suite was actually nicely put together. Unfortunately there were mystery stains on the sheets and the bathtub didn't drain very well which is why I had to give three stars.

As a titanium Marriott customer, we visit Colorado at least once a year. This is our first time staying at the Sheraton in July. BE AWARE, there is no AC in this hotel(which is not listed). You will be sleeping in a room warmer than it is outside. We had to go to the extent of putting ice next to portable fans and switching rooms twice. Nothing worked, you will end up having a very uncomfortable warm stay also with the sound of the highway all throughout the night because all the doors have to be open for at least some air. The hallway temperature is set at 94, and the hotel won t change it. SADLY, this is resort is partner with Marriott. It certainly doesn t live up to their standards

Nice, clean, comfortable accommodations. Had everything you would expect. Including a kichenette (with microwave, sink, fridge, dishwasher, dishes), TV, and pull out couch. The place also has amenities like a jacuzzi and game room and is just a short (free) shuttle ride from Beaver Creek Village. Major problem is that the walls are really thin and so the rooms can be noisy.

The King one bedroom suite was perfect for my travels. The Sheraton Mountain Vista Villas offer free parking and is just minutes away from the winter sports areas.

Their Outdoor heated pool was operational and stays open until 8pm. The area was very clean. Environmental rules protect the beauty of the region, so bring your own bags.

The staff was amazing. Covid-19 rules are in effect. They have limited check-in to one guest per reservation in the lobby.

Our 1-bedroom suite was great. Lots of amenities and quality workmanship with the materials used throughout the property. The location is also very central to many points of interest in Avon. The only negatives we encountered were the fire alarms going off in the middle of the night on our first night where everyone was made to evacuate the hotel. Luckily it was a false alarm probably caused by all of the construction going on around the property. Also, the town of Avon itself has more roundabouts than any other small town we have ever visited.

Great place to stay at!! Love the arcade area!! Nice, big, and clean. Had a lot of board games you can even take back to the room and so many arcade games! Hot tub, steam room, and pool was nice and hot during the cold. Huge cool fire pit!! The bar was nice and small and the service was good! So many amenities and we did most of them in one day! Would come back!

The Villas are enough to make you want to return.
But, the staff is the real gem here.
They are helpful, accommodating and most of all - available.
When time permits, we will definitely visit again.

Great location, great villa with everything I need for my vacation. The room is nicely decorated and has a kitchen, dining room, washer and dryer, nice restroom and comfortable bed, as well as a small balcony with grill. Staff is very friendly. There is hot tub and swimming pool but I don't have time to enjoy for this trip. Wish the fitness center is 24 hour open.

Refreshing resort in the Vail Mountains with great mountain views! ~ staff very welcoming, family suite was very clean, balcony w/ gas grill, double sinks, electric stove top/oven. I recommend shopping at the nearby Wal-Mart for breakfast & lunch food. Access to good breakfast restaurants a bit limited. A few restaurants, nice creek view near Westin resort, nail salon, burger king within walking distance. Lots of Ski stores. Pools/Hot Tubs are nice. I recommend coming in Aug/Sept for best weather & tree color changes!! I also recommend taking a nice 1 hour drive toward Iron Springs on I-70West!! AMAZINGLY SPECTACULAR VIEWS!! Lots of Rivers at base of Mountains to stop by and sit, fish or walk thru!!!

Nice rooms and amenities but it is worth moving up to the premium room to have an actual kitchen and more space The standard room with only the kitchenette is OK but if you are here for several days I'd recommend the larger suite. We did have some issues with the jetted tub being clean... A large hair ball came out the first time we used it.

The best part of hotel is Elite welcoming gifts. After that finding a quite cool room was impossible. Time Shares take up all good rooms leaving only low floor room availability. The noisy practice of letting guests use security bolt reversed to keep doors open in hotel is condoned here. If that was not enough, I was told room was a quite one when there was a gaint community garbage bin just below. Since it was hot had to keep window open and get starteled every time trash crashed into bin. Also, even with windows open the 1st day was over 80F in room and no way to cool down. The 2nd day things got better using 6 fans to get cool air in at night. Things are better now but 1st day was miserable. Sheraton Villas in Steamboat is much better with AC. The bed here could use better pad and is a little too hard. Overall room is nice and large suite has full kitchen unlike the smaller one. Internet is good but no premium service is offered to Elite. The larger suite has hot tub in bedroom which worked very well. Also bed room windows did not open far enough to get good airflow into bedroom. Had to pull most air from patio door.
Think next time will try Westin if staying in July.

While this is one of the smaller Sheratons that we have been to the facilities were lovely and all the staff was kind and helpful. This hotel is in a higher elevation area and I truly appreciate that they had humidifiers in the room. The decor of the room was nice. There was ample amenities. We had a full kitchen, washer and dryer, gas grill on the balcony. There was a fan in the closet as well as the humidifier. Of course a safe and nice walk in shower and there was even a fireplace but it was much too warm for us to try the fireplace as we visit visited in late summer.

There s a small market downstairs where you could purchase coffee or sandwiches. An outfitter is off the lobby we could rent bicycles and I m sure in the winter time they rented skis. There was also a very small on site bar that had limited hours. I suspect the hours were expanded if you were there during their busy season.

We enjoyed the hot tubs and the pool. We participated in some of the craft items that the activities director coordinated and they were quite fun. There is ample parking in the garage and bike racks if you wanted to leave your bike in the garage. We chose to take them to our room.

We did not use the game room that was available on the eighth floor but I could see that that would be fun for families with kids.

If we returned to the area we would definitely stay at this facility again.
