My wife treated me to one of the brewery tours as a birthday present. This consisted of an excellent tour, given by the excellent Martin, who was very knowledgable about Shepherd Neame and the Brewing process, we more or less saw all the brewing process, but not the bottling or casks. Then we has a tasting of three of there different beers in 1/3 pint pots, followed by a free drink from their bar. Then we had a 2 course meal, all part of the tour package, and this was amazing, the veggie option was an amazing quiche type crumble, so tasty, followed by a blueberry cake. I don't know how much it cost, but my wife told me it was excellent value considering all the elements of the tour. Would definitely recommend.

Dear Jonathan Neame,

Dear Jonathan Neame,

We just want you to know what a wonderful St. George s Day celebration Tim Manion and his friendly staff gave us at Ye Olde Whyte Lyon last week. We seem to celebrate such a lot of 'special days', except perhaps our olde English traditional one, so thanks.

It was such a good evening, Tim is planning to work on repeating it all in 2019. Perhaps we can have an all day one. Well done England s oldest Brewery, Shepherd Neame.

Cheers
Diane and Keith Grant

We did the brewery tour and loved it. Martin our tour guide explained everything as we went round. You start off in the pub which is for people on the tour only, then head out in your group around the brewery, after that you end up in the bar area for tasting the beers.
There are no toilets on the way round, only in the bar area. This was good value for money.
You enter through the shop on the corner.

We had a fabulous couple of hours last Saturday being guided around this splendid old Brewery guided by Johnny, who is very knowledgeable about the history of this place and the brewing process and ale tasting. I would recommend a trip around this old place as a must. Excellent

The tour was definitely worth it, tour guide was very knowledgeable, nice to see the process making use of some classic manufacturing equipment. The tasting session at the end had a range of some nice beers.

Came all the way from America to this town specifically to try the beer. Were told we had to buy a tour ticket to try anything and that the tours for the day sold out. The hours online are also drastically different than what s posted. We work at breweries and would have just liked to try the beer- we know how it s brewed. Absolutely gutted.
