Beautiful details in every corner. I would recommend the guided tour. Best time is before the evening so you watch the lights go on and enjoy the blue mood lights at night.

More of a tourist attaction. No prayer allowed in main area. Every thing is locked u need to wait in que and walk long distance under ground. Main area is locked.
only side area some place is allowed for prayer. Aritecture is good. It is not as big as people expect. But over all area for the mosque is big. One time watch as a tourist dnt more time here complete it quicly and go to yash land, if u came as tourist. It is not religious more of a tourist attraction.
This is the most majestic mosque that I have ever visited.
Beautiful place. Very big shrine. We enjoyed this trip.
My favorite building in the world. We visited Baba Zayed Mosque many times. It never stops surprising. It's a MUST for every tourist and UAE resident.
Today we had the pleasure to enjoy a tourist guide with Ms. Maryam. She was very kind. Adorable. She really represents the UAE kindness.
The Grand Mosque is a must see, what an incredible place.
World largest mosque .Beautifull in Abu dhabi .must visit.
A must see in Abu Dhabi! Impressive architecture combined with religion. As a woman you have to wear long clothes and cover your hair all the time. They also provide a dress for this purpose. You may not wear shoes so in case you do not like to go barefoot, bring socks, they are allowed! Also, when you go by day bring sunglasses as the white colour is very bright for the eye.
The biggest mosque in the Emirates! White with gold colors and amazing flowers from the stones on the flor! Mosque done perfect, all details, constructions, have amazing library. You will like this place and wouldn't leave! Better time for More
Absolutely beautiful. Make sure to go just before sundown and then the whole mosque lights up after sundown. The intricate details of the work done here are staggering. Also, take the time to do the walking tour they explain in detail the history behind the mosque!
Amazing place, you can see inside a chandelier made of real gold, its a must to see while visiting UAE
Amazing place to see.
Entrance allows only in Abaya, or fully covered clothes, but in worth case they have Abaya available to wear for free.
Entrance little bit complicated and takes time to enter mosque. You need around 3 hours total to see this beautiful place.
Also don't forget with you camera to get amazing shoots.
The best time to go is 1 hour before sunset, you can see mosque in day Time and night time
Also better to go weekdays, becouse in weekands too many people.
Also you can get some souvenirs from there.
One of the best place to see in abu Dhabi
Very holy place. Its sight is simply magnificent! No racism and very friendly personnel. Great car park for tourist. Prepare to walk a little bit. It deserves 7 stars!
My first visit to Dubai and Abu Dhabi... it was a great experience with a great friend who showed me alot of the most influential areas in the region. He was basically like my personal tourist guide and gave me a little history about this mosque and why it was built... it's a very beautiful place and must see if your travelling to Abu Dhabi or Dubai
It s a must to visit here if you are in town, amazing architecture with beautiful white marble, perfectly match with the blue sky....
The most serene and beautiful mosque I have ever seen in my life. This is a grand structure, probably a world wonder. Extremely well crafted and superbly grand.
There was i feel one thing that was satisfcation...
This is one of the most beautiful place we ever visited, It should be considered as one of the wonders of the world!
We visited this place as part of one day Abu Dhabi tour. Anyone who is traveling to Dubai or Abu Dhabi, it is highly recommend that you check this place out. There is a strict dressing code for women, where a woman is required to wear either abaya or loose clothing covered from head to toe.
The grand mosque was constructed in 1996and 2007. It was designed by serian architect usef abdelky .the building complex measures approximately 290by 420m covering an area of more than 12 hactres excluding landscaping and vehicle parking .the main axix of the building is roated about 11 degree south of true west alligning in the direction of kabba in mecca south Arabia. The project was launched by the late president of the United Arab amirates sheikh zayed bin sultan Al nehyan .who wanted to establish a structure that would united the cultural diversity of Islamic world with the historical and modern value of architecture and art in 2004 sheikh zayed was died and buried in The courtyard of mosque
From a tourists point of view, It's a magnificent piece of architecrue that really helps us declare the value that the Arabs bestow upon their Beliefs!
As the name says, literally a grand mosque with beautiful architecture. Gets very busy on weekends so plan accordingly. Ample amount of free parking in basement and on ground level both. There is a grand parking behind the mosque, a little away and connects the mosque with pedestrian bridge. Go there for distant full view of the mosque.
Never miss to visit this marvelous mosque when you're in UAE! One of the most beautiful and largest mosques in the world! Perfect spot for friends and family to witness some unique piece of art, calligraphy, domes, crystal clear pools!
Also check out the world's biggest chandelier and carpet!
Go at anytime and the entrance is completely free. I'd suggest to go at evening as you can enjoy the day and amazing night scenes.
Beautiful mosque but I just can't help but feel like they were trying to one-up the Sultan Qaboos Grand mosque in Muscat...
Beautiful. Mall beneath the mosque was a nice place for a light snack and a few shops for souvenirs.
If you enjoy beautiful architecture and intricate designs go and see this Mosque! It is beautiful!
You spend most of the time admiring the outside from different angles and then you get a sneak peak at what it looks like one the inside. The detail on the walls and in the chandeliers is amazing!
Definitely worth the trouble! And it's free!
Be prepared, it's quite a lot of walking, but there are 'taxis' that will transport people from one end to another if too tired to walk.
Great masjed, very nice place to take photos, you have to stay there all the day from the early morning to take shots.
I loved it. The whole white marble finish is the most amazing thing. And also seeing the world's largest carpet and chandelier is a priveleg.
This is equally as good as the Taj Mahal
No doubt
Nice place, free entrance, there are strict rules to follow for ladies attire. But you can rent one in Grand Mosque. Parking area is so far away from the mosque entrance . You have to walk along the hallway, pass the security check and enter the grand mosque. There are also some coffee shop and fashion boutique before the entrance. Must visit when you are in Abu Dhabi.
Masha Alaah greetings and dua whoeverthe reason to build this mosque and treat the poor and everyone with the best... Allah knows the best...
Grand and great mosque. Tourists attraction in abu dhabi.
beautiful and Divine place to visit full of clean and a Kaalin to prepare for Namaz about to take 2 year for 40000 Namazi at a time....
30k people for iftar every day during Ramadan. A beautiful mosque must see
Well built structure with artistic designs. Huge hand woven carpet. Worth visiting.
This place is a must-visit when going to United Arab Emirates! The Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque is such an astonishing place. It's very clean, beautiful and pure!
I never visited this place
I wish to be here one day
The place is constructed in many acres of land and the security is pretty tight. One has to be properly dressed in order to be allowed inside. For women, it's either burqa or some loose fitting dress with the head covered completely. No tight dresses or figure hugging dress people are allowed. Speaking of the architecture, it is beautifully done. Everything is on a huge scale, the arch, pond, the flooring.
I can t say enough about the need to visit this Mosque if you are in the UAE.
They will supply any additional clothing you need as you enter.
Beautiful! Make sure you take the free tour with the mosque staff. this is the only way you actually get into the main prayer room and walk on the rug that was made by over 2000 women over a span of 2 years.
The capital of the United Arab Emirates is located in Abu Dhabi. A place to visit in Abu Dhabi. It is the largest mosque in the United Arab Emirates.
Although it is a religious place of worship, it is open to all except during prayers.
The mosque can accommodate more than 41,000 people at a time. It cost 2 billion dirhams to build.
The mosque uses the world's largest handmade carpet, which is located in the main hall room of the mosque.
6 24 carat gold chandeliers have been installed at the base of the prayer hall of the mosque.
There is floral art on the side of the main verandah and in the open space in the middle of the mosque which is made of marble in that color.
Women are asked to wear abayas and headscarves before entering the mosque.
It takes 10 minutes to reach the main part of the mosque from the underground parking.

Obviously this is a very popular and important attraction in Abu Dhabi. In fact, if you only managed to go to one place in Abu Dhabi for sightseeing, this is on the list of must visit places.
There will be a lot of feedback about how photogenic it is, but how beautiful it looks, and other information. However I will spend this review simply giving you tips on how best to enjoy this place.
TOP TIPS:
COME AT 4:30pm: this will give you plenty of time to get through security and make your way to the main entrance of the mosque. If you are looking to take the best photos here it means that you will get good daylight, golden hour and blue hour all within about 2 1/2 hours. That means that the lighting changes dramatically over the white marble and you get some very stunning photos.
TAKE THE ENGLISH LANGUAGE TOUR: this is for free and starts at 5 pm. The tour will take you around the mask including the inside of the mask and will explain the architecture, designs and other valuable information about the Muslim religion and prayer rituals. Not only is this in lightening but it also gives you the opportunity to carefully take photos around the mosque.
MAKE SURE YOU ARE COVERED: do not forget that this is still an active place of prayer and therefore modesty is essential. If you are a woman and you do not have a long gowns or your own Abaya One will be provided to you. Guys, you must have long trousers and you must have your shoulders covered. This is much easier for us to do so no excuses!
FRIDAYS & PRAYER TIMES: The mosque has an official webpage and an Instagram account so you can easily see what the prayer times are and when it is open to non-Muslim visitors. Again, if you come at 4:30 you will be fine.
The Grand mosque has grand atmosphere, beauty, charm and calmness
Amazing no words to say.... Went there in evening that was a perfect time because we can also enjoy its lights effects. Endless beauty.. Guides also explains each and every thing about the Mosque. More informative...
We visited the Sheik Zayed Grand Mosque as part of a city tour and it was not only the highlight of that tour but one of the highlights of our stay in Abu Dhabi. The mosque can be seen from miles around but you need to visit it to appreciate it's true beauty. The place is spotless and breathtaking architecturally. The gleaming white marble against the clear blue Abu Dhabi sky is just amazing but venture inside and you'll find the interior just as beautiful. Although busy, it wasn't overwhelmingly so and there are plenty of photographic opportunities. If you don't do anything else whilst in Abu Dhabi, put this on your list. You won't regret it.
Even though there was sand storm, it could not interrupt me full in love with this place.
MashAllah one of the most amazing mosques on the world!
Fantastic experience! I had to cover up but honestly it made you appreciate the beauty and culture that much more.
Totally not impressed with the queuing/waiting time. Advise for intending visitors: book your tickets online (they are free) so you can beat the 1 hour queue standing in the sun.
One of the most beautiful places I have ever been to. This place is amazing. If you ever go to Abu Dhabi then you should definitely visit here. I miss it already!
Don t miss this if you re in Abu Dhabi, it s an amazing piece of craftsmanship, beauty and serenity. Allow a full hour if you want to take one of the free tours - it s takes time to get through security and the underground entryway. The tours are amazing for a free service, the guides are enormously proud of the monument and full of every fact you might want to know.
Due to Covid they are very strict about the rules! We have to appreciate! But we can't cover the mosque with so many restrictions. It's a beautiful mosque! So peaceful and the architecture is breathtaking!
The chandeliers are amazing!
It's a must go place!
For photography it's heaven!
Opulent and luxury mosque. Staff were rude in many places inside mosque
Nice & perfect place to visit during the month of Ramadan
What a beautiful structure. The builders thought of everything! Not a stone out of place.
One of the greatest Places full of Beauty, Spirituality, Placidity.
The blue lights
Focused to the
Various heights of mosque
Seem like
A group of large moons
As if rising from the darkness of earth
To enlighten the World.
Amazing spiritual place.. by far, this is the best islamic building you will find after Mecca and Madina.. non muslims can also visit the place and take pictures .. plenty of shops are located in the basement in case you are planning to spend the day over there
This building is magnificent. It's really well made and it's enormous. Although devoid of a rich history like other religious places around, the built quality more than makes up for it.
I visited sheikh sayed in the summers and so it took away a little from the place but I can imagine the kind of soothing effect it would have in winters. Definitely recommended!
Beautiful and spacious. There is also a cafe and gift shop to visit. It can be very hot there so prepare for that and there isn't much to do except take pictures and explore the site. You must take shoes off when going inside the big hall.
Great mosque to see, keep the water and stuff for kids handy to keep them busy, inside transportation need improving
Beautiful Mosque. Great architecture. Highly recommended, must visit.
Brilliant architecture, Loved the place . Even in the hot weather, you won't feel it..
